What do you like best about the product?
I love the UX and ease of use that JumpCloud offers. I also love the security of the platform that is integrated into our system. To set up new employees is also very friendly from an admin standpoint. It is easy to update profiles and reset passwords.
What do you dislike about the product?
We also use Drat and sometimes it doesn't always update, but other than that, JumpCloud is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solves our security for our access management of each device

What do you like best about the product?
We have been happy with how Jumpcloud works for our organization. It has seemed to be pretty easy to implement and use. We are able to have decent control over out devices, which are mostly Macbook Pro's and iPads.
What do you dislike about the product?
First level of support isn't always the best experience from JumpCloud, but we have been able to get the solutions we need, for the most part, in the end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing our devices and users. We have a unique environment with multiple users on multiple different machines. We have been able to make it work very well for us.

Jumpcloud's SSO has helped us streamline access management

What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud is relatively easy to use as an identity provider, and integrates well with most 3rd party apps you'd expect to interact with in a professional environment. It was easy to setup, and I haven't experienced any outages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Centralizing your auth to one app has security concerns, but so does managing user authentication across dozens of apps by hand. Ultimately we decided Jumpcloud was a better solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud is allowing us to manage access to all of our apps in a central location without needing to interact with dozens of apps directly.

What do you like best about the product?
It's super easy to get started, and the pricing makes it approachable for any size business
What do you dislike about the product?
The most difficult part was connecting Apple and Jumpcloud, but I think that's an Apple thing, not a Jumpcloud thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud makes it easy to manage our employee devices, ensuring they're configuration is aligned with our internal company policies.

What do you like best about the product?
The capabilities of creating profiles and add them to Mac devices
What do you dislike about the product?
The ui still looks cheap, I'd like you improve the ui to start looking fancier
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easily enroll and deploy apps and policies to Mac devices

What do you dislike about the product?
I am not a big fan of RDP, but I use another program for that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Onbaording new employees

    Education Management

Incredibly easy to use and very reliable.

What do you like best about the product?
That it allows me to spent time on what matters, and let Jumpcloud deal with all the day-to-day admin work. It essentially saves me an employee.
What do you dislike about the product?
I suppose some of the addon services can seem a bit immature and difficult to use as easily as the main service
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Governance and compliance. We got ISO certified in part thanks to the ease of use.

Identity and Device Management done right!

What do you like best about the product?
Having IdP and MDM in one platform is absolutely impossible to valuate.
It's a game changer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the featureset/offering isn't super "mature" yet, but to be fair, there's not a comparable product to even evaluate it against. It does what it's designed to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud has allowed us to "wrangle" our global endpoint fleet alongside User Management/Authentication

A decent option for moving to the cloud

  • February 22, 2024

What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud is great for central logon management if you are looking for something more robust than entra ID or are a google shop. Also cloud LDAP and radius open up some nice options if you getting rid of your on prem AD servers and still want 802.1x wifi or a file server like Synology.
What do you dislike about the product?
I expected Jumpcloud to be more of a replacement for group policy but policies for software deployments and security settings are clunky at best.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud is a great option for me to recommend to my small business clients who are a good fit for a serverless environment.
