So much better than any options for AD or SSO
What do you like best about the product?
I was introduced to JumpCloud when we won a client and I had to deploy an SRE team. I was sitting in an airport on my way to a datacenter to assess the stacks and I had some time to research tools to secure the stack we had inherited. JumpCloud was EXTREMELY easy to use and very easy to setup and understand. We have since deployed JC as our single source of SSO/AD for not only that project, but every SRE project we do now. We have multiple JC accounts for various customers and our internal teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest issue I had took some learning curve to figure out, but the use of different users for the admin and user side can be a bit confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consolidating various directory services into a fully functional, feature rich solution.

Jumpcloud is the Best Directory Platform I Have Ever Used
What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud is great because of its ease of use and ease of integration. We manage a mixed environment, with a large number of our end users using both Apple and Windows, while using Google Workspace as our main directory. Jumpcloud allows control of all our platforms in one place, smoothly. Support for the product is also very good.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not anything to write in this section, as it works very well for my job role.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem that Jumpcloud solves is integrating our various workspaces and platforms, and allowing admins like myself be able to manage these entities in one place. Jumpcloud also allows us to bring a level of security when end-users login and use these environments.
Jump Cloud Makes Managing SSO and Large Organizations with Multiple Applications Very Manageable
What do you like best about the product?
Jump Cloud interface is very intuitive and it is easy to find things. It is also easy to find answers on the web on how to do things with their knowledge base items. Also, adding users. intergrating apps, assigning apps and everything it does it so easy to do!
What do you dislike about the product?
If you are a new IT user it may be a bit confusing, but it is something that can be learned and there are always resources!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows our clients who use DOZENS of complicated apps to be able to use ONE portal to SSO onto any and all of their apps and allows for a seamless integration. It also makes providing and revoking access very easy to many different company resources when onboarding or offboarding partner employees.

What do you dislike about the product?
• Initial setup can be a bit dauting, but customer support is helpful
• Current password manager, while fucntuional and secure, leaves a lot to be desired
• Mac MDM solution is a bit barebones (but does allow you to upload your own MDM profiles created via 3rd party utilities)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
• JumpCloud is replacing an existing Windows 2008 server that is acting as a Domain Controller and Active Directory Controller
• Used for MDM, espeically with Macs, making it easy to push out to new settings and configurations (i.e. mobile profiles, printers, etc.)

Active Directory in the Cloud Replacment
What do you like best about the product?
Being about to set policies on the workstation via the JumpCloud Portal. JumpCloud Password Manager is a plus for password management
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I like everything about JumpCloud
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Password Management, Priviledged access, Single sign on and cloud directory services
Great point solution to compliment Workspace
What do you like best about the product?
Google Workspace has a few feature gaps regarding an enterprise productivity and collaboration solution when being compared to Microsoft o365. Universal directory, single sign on, and mobile device management (specifically for end user computing) are 3 key areas that JumpCloud delivers to fill these gaps.
I also enjoy working with the JumpCloud team members. While the solution is solid, so is their team - I find they are knowledgeable, reliable, and responsive.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are some large organizations (5000 users and above) where JumpCloud does not scale as well as an enterprise solution. There are also competitors in the MDM and SSO space that claim to offer similar functionality for less cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud provided and integrated and unified experience for our admins and end users alike. It's helpful to have an administration console that plugs and plays seamlessly to allow us to make confident changes in bulk and establish set-it-and-leave-it configurations.
The New Enterprise Platform Standard...available for businesses as small as 1...or 10,000.
What do you like best about the product?
The aggregation of IDMS, MFA, Directory Services, and multi-platform MDM makes JC an invaluable resource for achieving all levels of ITSM, certification, and fluid IT process. Best integration team in the business, they understand and advise on so many scenarios.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not necessarily a dislike, but some MDM features lack parity with JAMF. I understand the MDM module is a priority at JC and only 40% complete...when it hits 80% the big three MDM players in the field will take sudden notice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud reduces the need for five (or more) disparate cloud-based management services. Goodbye AD, Azure, and whatever is the newest renamed legacy directory services mess.
The easiest platform to get set up and running day one.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to erase devices should anything happen to them remotely. It is also very easy to launch a remote session to provide support to our overseas teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a dashboard that showed at a quick glance that can show custom fields that we want to see.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to quickly set up multiple devices at once by installing JumpCloud and then assigning it to it's designated group.
