Essential APM tool for any organization
What do you like best about the product?
Help resolve issues quickly with session replay and root cause technology. With new announcements in 2023, the future is even brighter with Dynatrace in the use of data with context.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigation, interfaces are sometimes difficult because if you do not know the structure behind the interfaces, it is difficult to know where you are and how to go back.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dynatrace gives us information on the problem requests and allows us to target the missing component. This allows us to quickly find the causes of the problems compared to before the analysis of the files of logs systems can take hours or days.

Ease of setup and use as well as the dashboards

Fix the filter bars and allow them to go everywhere

It allows us the gain insights into issues and brings the various teams to the table with it providing facts about what is going on

Give you the option to debug code on higher envs that you don't have access. As it a new service we are using I used the chat multiple times and always got quick responses and help

It's not intuitive to me, and it took me multiple sessions to start working flawlessly

Rookout saves me time in deploying the application with logs to identify issues. It has an IDE-like experience that feels natural and smooth.

The instance selection screen can be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Save us time in deploying logs to track down bugs on production. Gives us better visability

The ability to add breakpoint on the fly, make them conditional, the support we get from you

The Pycharm Extention takes too much space in the screen and not so intuative

Extremely helpful util to debug online applications

I love the web interface and the convenience to work with the product. In addition, the connection with Github is extremely helpful.

The target selection screen could be clearer.

It allows us to debug online applications without touching the code and without deploying any changes for breakpoints and logs.

Yet to find any limitations but feature roadmap will be useful

Reduces the reliance on extensive logging and if there are repeatable business transactions one can see the entire lifecycle through live debugging with good filtering capabilities, without having a need to redeploy multiple times with hit and try log statements.

It can be beneficial for debugging in the development phase and also can be helpful for production.

Easy for developers and QA to find what happened
Great product and great team interaction during evaluation and implementation

My favorite part of the experience with Rookout implementation was working with Rookout Team. Their effort in addressing any issues discovered along the way is unmatched in my experience.

We are still in the process of implementation. Any downsides discovered were more features that we would like to see in the product, which Rookout R&D almost magically brought into existence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rookout enables our Support and Maintenace engineering to peer into real-time business transaction data and perform root cause analysis unseen in the past ease.
It also does it securely while obfuscating any customer data that R&D should not be privy to.
