Solid solution for securing endpoints and users
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Harmony Endpoint gives solid protection without affecting performance. It’s easy to manage, and I can quickly see what’s going on with all the endpoints from one place
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the initial setup and policy configuration can feel a bit complex. It takes some time to get used to all the options in the console, but once it’s properly configured, it works smoothly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem it solves for us is keeping endpoints safe from malware and phishing. It also makes remote work more secure and gives us one place to manage everything. That saves a lot of hassle and gives peace of mind that devices are protected
Effortless Setup and Outstanding Encryption
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the seamless setup of Check Point Harmony Endpoint, as the SaaS-based platform made the implementation process smooth and effortless. The ability to assign user-based policies and utilize virtual groups is highly beneficial. The automatic updates and quick execution make the platform efficient and reliable. I find the encryption and pre-boot authentication features extremely valuable for protecting our laptops, adding an extra layer of security. The overall configuration handled by Check Point itself is a significant advantage. I am very comfortable with the product and am pleased with how smoothly it operates, which reassures me about renewing it. Additionally, I am impressed with the responsive customer support and effective reporting features.

Check Point Harmony Endpoint provides essential laptop encryption and protection, allowing policy assignment and user-specific security measures, ensuring smooth integration and operation with SaaS-based auto-updates.
Extensive control with Harmony Endpoint
What do you like best about the product?
I like Check Point's Harmony Endpoint for it´s reliable threat prevention and control of the client PC's. The policies are very extensive and the implementation is easily scalable.
What do you dislike about the product?
You have a lot to learn. The interface has a lot of features and it isn't very intuitive for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Harmony Endpoint enables our company to manage PC´s inside our manufacturing facilities, providing only the necessary access to our internal webportals and shared folders. We also like the virus scan it does regularly.

It's not heavy on the machine and do a fantastic job of keeping everything safe

I like best is that it protects our computers from viruses and ransomware. It’s easy to use, runs in the background, and gives clear alerts when there’s a threat.

I dislike is that it can slow down the computer sometimes. Also, the settings can be a bit hard to understand, and updates take time to install.

Check Point Harmony Endpoint helps protect our computers from viruses, malware, and ransomware. It keeps our data safe and stops threats before they cause problems. This gives us peace of mind and saves time by avoiding security issues.

The possibility of controlling all devices and assets from a unified view on cloud and alternatives on prem.
Customer support is on point and able to help with issues and bugs.

It lacks better overview without implementing XDR.
Depends on possible problems generated by Windows/OS updates, they could end up breaking the FDE blade.

Helps controlling and securing the remote worker's devices, being able to execute AV and anti bot without being connected to the cloud.

Check Point Harmony offers a comprehensive suite of endpoint and remote access security tools that integrate seamlessly into enterprise environments. it's a good approach to protecting users, devices, and internet access, with features like zero-trust network access, advanced threat prevention, and secure web browsing. The user interface is intuitive, and policy management is centralized, making it easier for security teams to enforce consistent controls across distributed workforces.

Initial deployment and configuration process is complex. Team needs to have high-level of know-how. Performance can occasionally be impacted by aggressive inspection settings, and licensing can be a bit rigid when scaling across large organizations.

Check Point Harmony Endpoint has been a solid addition to our security stack, especially in environments where remote work and cloud access are the norm. One of the biggest problems it solves is the fragmentation of endpoint protection—by consolidating anti-malware, threat prevention, and secure access into a single agent, it simplifies management and reduces overhead. I’ve found its behavioral analysis and zero-day protection particularly effective in catching threats that traditional antivirus tools miss. The integration with Check Point’s ThreatCloud gives us real-time threat intelligence, which adds a layer of confidence when dealing with emerging attacks. On the downside, the initial rollout wasn’t entirely smooth—some compatibility issues with legacy systems and occasional performance dips during scans required tuning. Also, the policy granularity, while powerful, can be overwhelming at first. But once configured properly, it’s been reliable and has noticeably reduced the number of endpoint-related incidents. Overall, Harmony Endpoint has helped us strengthen our security posture without adding too much operational complexity.

The comprehensive protection features and ease of centralized management stand out, giving confidence that endpoints are well-secured with minimal manual effort. The implementation is of lesser burden as there are API's exposed for most of their functionalities. Customer support structure is good in terms of immediate response and attention. Since it is daily used by the users, it is trouble free and bug free. Integration with other platforms is of a great ease.

The solution can be resource-intensive on some endpoints, and the learning curve for policy configuration is steep. Licensing is also on the higher side compared to some competitors.

Integration with the broader Check Point ecosystem means we get consistent security policies across network and endpoint, reducing operational overhead. Overall, it has strengthened our endpoint security posture and lowered the risk of business disruption.

A good EDR but did not make the cut
What do you like best about the product?
Our overall experience with Harmony Endpoint during the PoC was mixed, as while the product offers a wide range of strong endpoint security features in a single agent, it ultimately did not make the cut for our environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the management interface is not intuitive and the lack of real-time reporting without configuring SmartEvent, which made administration less efficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Check Point Harmony Endpoint is solving the challenge of protecting our endpoints with a single, unified solution that covers everything from anti-malware and anti-phishing to a host-based firewall and user behavior analytics. It gives us strong prevention, detection, and response capabilities all in one agent, which makes it much easier to manage and reduces the effort needed from our IT team. The forensic visibility is fantastic, and having centralized management through the cloud means we can keep a tighter grip on endpoint security without adding unnecessary complexity.
