An integrated, comprehensive security architecture
What do you like best about the product?
The tool presents some features that should be highlighted as they are:
one of the major advantages is that it uses machine learning
The tool has another great advantage compared to the others on the market, it manages a very low rate of alerts with a false positive

The tool is very efficient in providing security. It has very good features, but they can make some improvements in different areas.
They should improve the use of performance since it consumes a lot of CPU and memory. It has problems updating licenses automatically.
You should offer training in the use of the tool since the learning curve is high.
They should have more information available about the tool or in one place to be able to find it quickly.
They should improve the technical support service since it is not one of the best features.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Check Point Security Management tool has helped our company a lot by improving the management of all the devices we manage and providing the security and proper administration to each one of them.
Thanks to how practical the tool is, we were able to minimize security times that took us a long time on previous occasions and to be able to take advantage of them in other tasks and to simplify the work of the company's support
It has a very efficient record management since it provides precise information which, if it is necessary to investigate, will be handy.

Good solution alternative to good old java based Management Console
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, no need to install and upgrade local management agents all the time. Can view logs, can do most of the things Agent-Based Management can do,
What do you dislike about the product?
Standart browser-based issues may happen. slowness etc. Also need to add some CLI commands
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Good management portal, at least no crashes like agent.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a complete product, including outstanding capabilities for rulebase management and extensive log investigation tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
The upgrades can be challenging, howver, since the introduction of CPUSE, it becomes better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As the product is easy to use, no expensive trainings are required before using the product. As it works fast and smooth, the workload reduces significantly.
A better way to control everithing

What I like most is the centralized way to control most, or all your security environment is accessible to use and manage where you can create profiles for each administrator that has access to this platform

Sometimes is a little challenging to find some options or settings that can help us to set up any security in a short period to configure new policies, inspection, or VPN setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The one access to all firewalls through a one management server that controls all services on your security premises and over all the different profiles that can be created for each site having separate databases for each cluster corporation
For PCI compliance, Check point is Excelent!!

One of the best thing is that we can get more details of each firewall by getting important data such as security overview, security modules, violations, etc., and the coolest thing is that you can print a report in case that is needed

It is a little complecated if you want to create your charts or customize your outputs because if you don't have a good idea of what are you doing, you can get lost during the chart creation

As a PCI compliance corporation, it has been beneficial to share any report needed

What do you like best about the product?
It's straightforward to use. Price is low compared to other solutions. Many times it is bundled with the initial purchase. There's no need for additional Hardware and Solution required to configure the compliance. You can get the output of the compliance results very quickly. Similar vendors do not have this solution. They are trying the cover the gap throughout the reporting modules or dashboards. Solutions is interactive. This interaction and real time features help the firewall admins to quickly see the operational and logical mistakes while maintaning the daily security activities. Findings screen is interactive where you can jump on the item and solve the issue within a click.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's unique to Checkpoint. Well, Checkpoint had acquired the easy2comply solution in 2011. Then it' had customized this solution for Checkpoint firewalls. However, while it's made the acquisition, some of easy2comply features have been dropped. Why I'm mentioning this because we had an old Dynasec customer. Therefore we had used the solution for overall compliance. Current Checkpoint compliance is just for the Checkpoint firewalls. You can't use the solution for other security components. Some of the problems related to the compliance solutions is the roadmap and workflow entegrations. Product does not have the user defined networking security where you define the critical zones and traffic flow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As for the financial companies, you should be align with the regulations. Checkpoint compliance is ensuring us to be compliant with these regulations. Throughout the audit, auditors analyze the compliance module outputs. Therefore this product is assisting the auditors as well as firewall administrators. As there are already defined regulations checks on the solutions, I do not need to know or define every mapped item.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's not well suited for a hybrid environment where you have several different vendors. You need to enable the solution to start monitoring. Default installations do not have the solution to be enabled and started. Enable the reporting to get the results. Otherwise, you need to log in open the compliance view, and see the results. It's not a product like let it run and see the results. It's a dynamic solution and needs constant attention to achieve the best results.
Security with Check Point
What do you like best about the product?
This is being used by most of the satellite companies, as our company grows via many acquisitions per year. The product is fantastic for blocking incoming threats, managing online content access, and has done a great job at keeping our companies safe.
What do you dislike about the product?
No packet tracer application like the ASA to test flows before putting in new rules, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Check Point is our current corporate standard. Access to our parent company networks requires a heterogenous checkpoint to checkpoint VPN. This is being used by most of the satellite companies as our company grows via many acquisitions per year
Rock solid platform that brings simplicity and cost effectiveness to the game
What do you like best about the product?
The easiness to use and centralized management are key components of this platform. Being able to manage multiple firewalls and having a user-friendly interface for policies/NAT configuration add great value to the operation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of cli options for security configurations. Even though the platform is great and the use is simple, some tasks demand configuration in a bulk and for that extended cli support would be welcomed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A big challenge to any organization is having multiple points of management for security platforms. Security Management platform solve that by bringing everything into one single management point.
Great Platform To Fulfill Up To Date Security Requirements !!!!
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing I like the most about Cloudguard IaaS is the new feature, such as Updateable Object, Datacenter Object. We use the Updateable Object for the Cloud service, and we don't need to add many IP addresses that need to be. It saves the time to edit the firewall policy and can update the IP address automatically from the freed. Datacenter Object is another feather used in our cloud environment
What do you dislike about the product?
The most dislinking part is the license. We need to use the command to apply the license to the gateway but not the Smart Update, and it is not friendly to our environment cause execute the controls at the management server need to raise change request.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Datacenter Object is another feather used in our cloud environment. Before we use this, we need to add a lot of firewall policies to allow the connection. After implementing the Datacenter Object, we just need to edit the cloud tag to add or remove the IP/subnet.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend everyone to try this platform once, and you will get to know the features involved.

It has a centralized dashboard to manage all checkpoint security gateway.

Dedicated throughput is not available for each module.
