What do you like best about the product?
The main feature I appreciate the most with IBM MQ is the assured delivery capabilities. With data movement and all the infrastructure depencies it's critical to be able to guarentee messages are not getting lost.
What do you dislike about the product?
IBM MQ has a number of administration and configuration attributes that requires manual commandline execution. Exposing more capablities via the REST API would enable more self service offerings to our Application teams.

engineering manager
What do you like best about the product?
the rtechnical and user both have interaction using the product. when an issue is present we cn easily work with technical support but this requires a lot of error messaging not related to MQ. there should be more messaging that can be provided without MQ having the issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
the messaging sometimes not related to MQ and we end up spending a lot of time in our triage. the product should have a transformation to be more user friendly. The MQ team always in the heart of our triage and a lot of times not MQ related.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
mainframe solutions
Great for message handling
What do you like best about the product?
Easy onloading of messages (in my case SOAP), for later offloading in another application. Makes sure that our data is not lost, when communication between applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be hard to set up, and educate colleagues in how to use it correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using it to send data between different applications. Ex. Case Manager flow puts on a SOAP message on the MQ, and this message is picked up by another Liberty Application.
Made our migration easy
What do you like best about the product?
Easy integration with the existing application. With out too many code changes we were able integrate our application with MQ.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing specific to the features except the pricing model.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were implementing microservice architecture. Publisher and subscriber architecture used to dicsonnect the service. IBM MQ fitted well in our architecture to address the bottle neck. When the requet failed, we implemented retry mechnism using dead letter queue.
