Easy of Using Sugar

What do you like best about the product?
You can create your own Modules . In other Crm products they come out the box and are hard to use. I like SUGAR and I learn something new each day I use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Running Campaigns can be hard at first it takes so getting use to. I glad they have on line classes to help, you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking service tickets is a lot easier using SUGAR...

A great innovative robust crm system

What do you like best about the product?
Its very easy to develop, there are a lot of support docs on the portal. The support via email/web portal/live session is great, although
The training videos and sugar university is a great feature.
The Studio is an easy tool for non coders to develop, and fine tune the system.
The language choice is great, we were searching a lot for native hungarian crm system, which speaks hungarian out of the box. Great mobile app, although blackberry is not supported as with predecessor iextensions it was. Super import - export possibilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of security issues, latest elasticsearch version is not supported for example, and there is plenty of bugs. Sometimes there is a problem with file permissions, and 3rd party plugins not always follow sugar releases. Great hardware resource and client resource is needed for fast system, which is a cons. The server really has to be an expensive machine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The company has almost completely rewritten the system, plenty of new modules, relations. We are solving the standard crm issues and much more, like project management processes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go ahead install the trial, customize it and use it for a short period to see if it fits your needs.

What do you like best about the product?
SugarCRM is an amazing database system. I have been in education for the past 6 years and using this system has allowed me to customize everything I may need to be successful with follow ups and appointment setting.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything that I don't like about this system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to keep all leads up to date with notes and follow up with all clients in a timely manner.

What do you like best about the product?
it seems to cover all necessary aspects to function
What do you dislike about the product?
The actual application requires fully trained individuals to set up and build an appropriate utility for the company using it. While this appears 'out of the box useable', it quickly becomes prohibitively expensive for small companies to train one of their own to tailor the CRM. Of course, they don't know exactly what they want straight off of purchase, so initial setups are rarely accurate. Also, as a person tasked with managing the application, I am not an administrator, and have to try and manipulate the CRM third-hand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This hasn't solved anything, since the utility has never met expectations projected by seller, and the company has literally ignored it. Trying to re-implement usage only meets resistance.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider the costs of getting in-depth training on top of the initial costs of the CRM. Also evaluate if you can afford someone being a specialized role in CRM management as a part of their position.

What do you like best about the product?
This is a very user friendly CRM and had little trouble implementing 100% within our small company. We primarily use the desktop application and is is very easy to create and share reports and accounts within the system. I would highly recommend this.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the inability to create custom formulas in reports. There are great features and formulas offered but sometimes I looking for a specific formula that isn't offered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of the opportunities in an effective manner was a problem. Spreadsheets are only as good as the information input and Sugar allowed us to streamline the process and eliminate spreadsheets.

Absolutely.

What do you like best about the product?
That you can log and track call made to customers easily along with creating tasks from specific calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
The site is not easy to navigate. There are so many sub menus to go through to try and reach the end spot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to solve the issue of tracking as our sales people were not being help accountable for there daily routine but now with sugar they forced to log and track everything they do.

Be sure that you buy the additional training as you will need it

What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility, that you can install in on-premise or use in the cloud and that you can use either linux or windows as the host.
What do you dislike about the product?
I will say that, for developers like myself that work on the customizations, some of the admin screens are still lacking. A lot of the customization has to be done directly in the PHP code vs. through the interface. I wish more customization was available thru the admin screens.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need a new solution to managing our customer contact data and manage our sales processes. We use too many spreadsheets today.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate and helps efficiency on equipment service issues as well is a great tool for new business
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes the app can be glitchy but generally we quite like the program
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Greatly increases efficiency and accuracy. We use the program to mainly log services issues and to keep track of equipment and changes with our accounts. This helps us in a huge way to make sure our customers are looked after properly. It also is a great tool for sales to log potential accounts and to be able to log our progress.

Best CRM I've ever used

What do you like best about the product?
Several features allow me to track the life of a lead and ensure the sales team is following up with each lead. This was a pain in the butt with our old CRM and I wasted hours baby sitting leads.
What do you dislike about the product?
Search functionality in global search needs work. It searches first name first so if you have a weird name like James Ng, no search results will come back UNLESS you search it like "James Ng".

It's really annoying, but there are so many other amazing and wonderful features that we LOVE so we are willing to overlook this bug.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can better track leads, pull lists for managers to track productivity, send emails straight from the CRM, send clients invites for meetings, etc.

The ability to pull different types of metrics is amazing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Evaluate it WITH your sales team. Let them be a part of the evaluation process. If you are moving from an old CRM, make sure you understand exactly how each department uses it, what they will need in the new one, and where the data is so you can make sure nothing is lost in transition.
