It does what it needs to do
What do you like best about the product?
Great opportunity for customization. Integrates well with Act-On software
What do you dislike about the product?
The way we have the CRM set up, there are some bugs but we have managed workarounds. Because of these bugs, when there is an update or change, sometimes things break. Rather than let us explain the issues and suggest a fix, Sugar support requires us to the same trouble shooting steps that never work before our ticket is moved up to the top level - which sometimes take weeks.

Sugar CRM is NOT a CRM
What do you like best about the product?
Nothing. This CRM does not allow me to run reports. It does not make it easy for me to contact potential clients. I've gone back to using paper instead of this software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sugar CRM does not work for sales & marketing. Unable to run reports. Unable to sort my leads by stages. Conversion of leads takes about 9 clicks. System latency is horrible. Sugar support is rude. Data migration (from Salesforce) was promised but not executed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zero benefits. I mostly use paper now.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't consider Sugar. It isn't worth the cheaper price.
One Of The Most Valuable Pieces of Software I Use
What do you like best about the product?
I am using the open source version of SugarCRM, SuiteCRM. I love that I can modify it to look, feel, work however I want it to. And, it allows my clients to log in to see the status of leads they submit to me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like the latest version to have the old style themes available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SugarCRM/SuiteCRM provides the easiest and most efficient way for me to report the status of marketing leads submitted to me from clients, so that they now exactly how much money they are making on our campaigns.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When installing, make sure to set the file permissions correctly before running the install. Just Google "SugarCRM SuiteCRM file permissions".

What do you like best about the product?
It is a customer relationship management system that supplies intelligence information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I thus far like everything about the system and do not have any complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use SugarCrm to solve problems related to business management for a class at the University. Benefits have been of sales automation practices.

What do you like best about the product?
Most of things can be customize and easy to understand file structure.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of the time need to do Quick Repair and Rebuild when make changes.

SugarCRM for sales
What do you like best about the product?
I work from home so I use Sugar as my CRM and it really does keep me well organized. Sugar easy to use and easy to navigate on your own without the help of a teacher. Sugar is not a waste of my time (which I have experienced with other CRMs). I can keep my documents, status and follow up vi the calendar function really helps keep everything in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of anything! Sorry but I have not yet used the mobile version so I can't yet review that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is my database, my follow up system, my leads, my documents --- all in one easy to use system.

It is the easiest CRM I have used.

- Sugar allows for organizations of all sizes to set permission-based user roles which is extremely beneficial when you have a larger organization that needs to utilize such.
- Allows for customizable fields and reporting functionality.
- Has a document library that can host and link to client specific library's as needed.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Sometimes it is almost too customizable and adds confusion and lack of efficiency/consistency

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Having one place where our Operations and Sales departments can communicate and escalate client needs by tasking other employees within the company. This also benefit's managers in measuring work output.

The ability to make changes yourself, as desired.

The overall complexity, how difficult it can be to make a minor change work properly.

Overall customer management. The case module is very effective for our business.
My relaible platform!
What do you like best about the product?
From my personal user view - It is very easy to use, easy to customise. The mobile app is fantastic, it also has offline connection. I have the information readily available when I need. The whole company uses it so every interaction with my customers is logged!
The outlook plugin with Sugar gives me an intelligence panel within my Outlook so I know who the person is that is emailing me, any active opportunities or cases etc all within Outlook - I don't have to open SugarCRM.
I also sell/implement SugarCRM to my customers - seeing how each and every one of them use Sugar opens my eyes so much more with what is capable!

For my day to day role, there is nothing really that i dislike about the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The whole company is sharing data, we save so much time by everyone utilising Sugar. We have it integrated with other programs we are using. We don't need to 'hunt' around for information relating to a customer.
We are able to forecast not only on opportunity revenue but what resources we will need. Every process we have is managed on SugarCRM.
