Easy and simple to monitor
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best features of this is that it is easy and simple to monitor the network, and I think it is better than PRTG because it is compatible with everything and predicts problems before they occur.
What do you dislike about the product?
High cost and difficulty in configuring the settings

It helps to detect and analyz our networks.We use it to monitor our routers, switches and Firewalls.
We use to manage hardware helthand and update hardware health statistics in deployed SolarWinds Platform.
It's easy to use because it has very simple of GUI.
When we need to configure or have a problem we call support to solve it so this is helpfull.

we do not have access to configure some features and customize any thing that help us in our work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To make it easier for us to monitor the performance of devices, it solved this problem by collecting these devices in one environment to see them all.

It's capacity to provide capacity, performance and development of all sizes and it's monitoring capabilities makes it the best in industry.

I noticed there are some potential scalable issues with larger deployments.

What I like is the ability to automate tasks and responses to alerts, allowing for the configuration of custom actions to resolve issues without the need for human intervention. The flexibility to integrate with other SolarWinds and third-party tools is a standout feature, providing the capability to expand monitoring capabilities. Additionally, it offers a wide range of reporting and analytical capabilities, enabling the evaluation of performance over time, identifying trends, and making informed decisions.

Some of the updates or maintenance of this tool can be complex, especially in environments with multiple instances or customizations. In very large and complex implementations, you may encounter challenges in terms of scalability and performance. Managing multiple instances can be a bit intricate

SolarWinds is addressing monitoring by the SOC for the customer's deployed equipment to have first-degree control

What do you like best about the product?
It can give you clear picture of your device network status. It helps in analysis packet.

In network issue specially in packet loss, jitter and flapping we are using solar wind to capture current and previous data and restore the issue by checking flow.

What do you like best about the product?
Provide reliable monitoring solutions for Servers, Network equipment and all other IT equipment that needs monitoring.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now none. I dont see anything wrong with our monitoring tool.

Provide accurate monitoring for servers and network equipment to avoid possible downtime.
Solarwinds VMAN is relieving from manual chores
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing I like is VM Sprawl. With VM sprawl notifications and suggestions, we can rapidly reclaim virtual resources. To clear up storage capacity, VMAN can automatically discover orphaned VMDKs, stale, and zombie VMs and we can review and delete them. You can further cut costs by right-sizing your virtual machines with the help of VMAN.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up SolarWinds VMAN is a tough task.Their support is not to mark. Also we were not able to integrate our VROPs with it due to compatibility issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many of the functions are very easy to use and require little setting after installation. It's really simple to go around because to the interfaces and tag sites, and searching is also very simple. Under a single platform to manage all our Virtualization infra. it offers a tremendous amount of detail.
Excellent tool to monitor and very customize

The most important thing is the large number of connectors that are available to be able to carry out various types of validations. and another advantage is its low cost.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the biggest challenges is that you have to programmatically configure everything you want to monitor and this in the end takes a lot of time and is no longer very flexible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of having a large team of engineers monitoring multiple types of systems, since only by configuring the alarms can a problem be addressed promptly.
