A great and user friendly interface for monitoring system and generating alerts

Using it as a network monitoring tools which helps to monitormajor outages and to take prevention steps forehand

What do you like best about the product?
SolarWinds has prepared out-of-the-box templates for collection of parameters for applications such as SQL, Exchange, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of options for integration with other Enterprise products, and the user interface feels a bit dated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Infrastructure monitoring and alerting, along with applications such as Exchange and SQL. Our organization experiences fewer full outages as a result.
Solarwinds IP Address Manager - A Simplified IPAM solution
What do you like best about the product?
Solarwinds IPAM is a simplified cost-effective IPAM solution. It has all the features required to an SME customer at the right price point. It is a simplified IPAM which gives complete visibility to customer on their IP address space, compared to other complex and pricey competitors, it gives simplified solution at a cost-effective pricing model.
What do you dislike about the product?
Solarwinds IPAM solution comes with almost all the existing features required for a SME, but customization could be tricky, and also for enterprise customers, with complex networks and ip address space, solarwinds would fall short on some advanced features
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solarwinds IPAM solution gives a single pane of glass for the entire IP address space in our network, invluding all static and dynamic ip's and subnets.
Our business performance has increased as we sont rely on manual process of maintaining an excel sheet with all ip's, instead we have an automated IPaM aystem which dynamically updates all our ip's

Decent product at low price-point
What do you like best about the product?
It offers good-enough data to monitor application at a low price, we can add our custom metrics as well for monitoring.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not flexible enough, we had to implement a lot of hacks to make it work. Some events go missing and the service map could have been better. There is no support for ECS containers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AppOptics helps us monitor applications as well as infrastructure under one umbrella. It's faster to debug issues since all data points are together and are correlated easily.

What do you like best about the product?
It is Useful in Managing Alerts and can be easily Integrated with ITSM Tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
We can't customize as per our requirement.

Multitasking with Better User Interface.
Useful tool for answering the question "What's using the pipe?", but not perfect
What do you like best about the product?
It does what it says on the tin, and if you put more effort into it, you get more rewards out. Tool is fairly cheap as bundled with NPM.
What do you dislike about the product?
A little hard to use, setup, understand, edit. You want a senior network staffer onboard. It's harder to work with than most SolarWinds tools for doing anything custom with the data permanently, though this may be changing with the Modern Dashboards feature. (Tests here successful if possibly buggy)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
"What's filled up the pipe that just capped out?" - You go to the pipe, check the netflow integration, and get a decent breakdown of the culprits.
Gives complete control on ip managed
What do you like best about the product?
It scans the network and detect all connected devices, we don't have to add device manually.
What do you dislike about the product?
Verbose mode is missing when you scan a target address.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Network management made easy by solarwinds. It gives little endpoint protection type features by managing connected devices in the network.

It is not as affordable as even Small-medium businesses would like to go with it.

Monitoring the Network devices and links connecting to those devices.

This is not as affordable as other brands offer same products, but once you have it, it is worth it.

1. It is costly in terms of license
2. It has specific metrics which does not covers over all monitoring of application

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Monitor web application for availaibility of application and in case application is down and through integration with opsgenie it creates alert there based on trigger in pingdom. This helps in fixing the application issue more easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is good tool and can be considered for usage.
Its a good monitoring tool in terms of application monitoring in proactive way.

NOthing for now , only if there is some route cause analysis part is missing
