Simple and practical network device monitoring tool

  • December 28, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is a fairly simple tool to implement with different protocols and customization of the variables that we want to keep in mind. It provides us proactively if a problem occurs on the network and facilitates us through alarms, notifications, and actions according to what is configured. In addition to having a centralized control of the other modules. It is possible to make a network diagram with the connections between devices in a dynamic way that facilitates administrators such as network traffic and helps in diagnosing faults. The support provides great help for the customization of the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
I consider that it is a bit robust and that it adapts to a larger work environment since it deserves a great infrastructure capacity to take full advantage of the functions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real-time monitoring capacity of all network devices distributed in different offices around the world through a centralized console with notification capacity when a failure occurs. It adapts very easily with vendors and it is possible to adapt those that are not so well known with the help of support. Simple and practical administration that facilitates network administrators
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You can use a trial available to know a little about its functions and also try to propose it as a solution that suits your needs.

Dynamic IP lists and documentation

  • December 28, 2021

What do you like best about the product?
Not only does the product integrate with NPM, network device monitoring, it keeps a history of what ip was used for x number of days. Gui based interface, manage my DHCP and DNS from the same console if you so choose. I can sort available, in use or transient ip's (those previously in use). The one console access allows me to monitor who is using the system and grant rights base privileges so a tech may not, inadvertently make changes that affect production.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much here. Can you customize your solution? There is a community that speak/promotes changes to the product, who would dislike that? Support is slowing down for non critical/production issues, but that is expected as a company grows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Do you use spreadsheets? We don't for our internal systems. Can I see what scopes are low on available ip's? Darn tutan! Do I ride into the server room virtual sunset when I check my hosts/clients on the network? Yes, because it is there for co-workers, managers and leadership to view and report on without having to involve me! Did I say reports are part of the offering for IPAM? They are, I can see names of hosts and mac addresses, last check in, response if available.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it and it will help shorten your responsibilities! I know it has helped our teams. WiFi, LAN or management services like dhcp and dns. Try the free option and give it a whirl and you too will be strapping your pony for a ride into the server room virtual sunset.

What do you dislike about the product?

Beneficial for day-to-day activities and allocating an IP resource quickly, which saves a significant amount of time.

Best IPAM Tool in the industry

  • December 28, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Automated tracking of provided IP ranges is one of the best features. Providing device Status Change notifications and DHCP Monitoring kames the IT Admin Job easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
No Service-Now Integration. A built-in DHCP Server Management feature will be great to add to the tool for IT Admins.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this for Automated IP Address Range Tracking and device status notifications. This is our one-stop option for any IP Address related information. Sometimes we even look for any new unknown devices connected to our network for which we have not provided the IP address.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is an excellent tool for IP Address management, and it even works with DHCP scopes, though DHCP scopes syncing are a bit delayed.
