  • September 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Automations have skyrocketed our email programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
No app. I am unable to accomplish anything in Iterable unless I have full computer access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Product life cycle up sell and cross sell.

Flexible journeys, intuitive segmentation, and responsive support make Iterable a winner

  • September 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is easy to navigate, and the journey builder offers excellent flexibility to create highly customized campaigns. The segmentation tool is also fantastic—very intuitive and quick to build unique audiences on the fly. On top of that, the support team is responsive and helpful, even on a lower-tier package.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes flashy new features are prioritized over simple quality-of-life updates that would improve usability. There’s no way to capture list or audience growth over time, which makes long-term tracking difficult. Our project is userID-based, which complicates searching for individual users since IDs come from another system, and there’s currently no easy way to shift to a hybrid project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Iterable for all of our marketing communications with our DTC customers. It allows us to manage lifecycle campaigns across email and push with ease, using personalization and segmentation to target the right audiences at the right time. This helps us drive stronger engagement, improve retention, and scale campaigns without adding extra manual work.

What do you like best about the product?
As a marketer, the UI is so much better than other ESPs.
What do you dislike about the product?
12 hour data lag is concerning to a data engineering team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s enabling us to launch email automations.

Newbie view - easy learning curve

What do you like best about the product?
One i love how iterable has its academy for new users. It's really beginner friendly, with interactive follow along examples
What do you dislike about the product?
The segmentation data for my organization isn't really mapped. A key (names to definitions) would be great... but that might be up to my organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating journeys, marketing emails, in app messages, etc.

What do you dislike about the product?
Dynamic List audiences cant be updated after creation, you have to duplicate/create a new one if you want to modify parameters.

What do you like best about the product?
Ive been lucky enough to work in Iterable for the past 4 years. Amazing experience thus far. Very powerful platform and i would recommend to other companies.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at all. We work well with our csm to ensure our needs are met.

Workflows, segmentation. Email and push campaigns

    Information Technology and Services

Decent platform, but there are better options with far better service

  • September 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The product is well designed and very intuitive for marketers. While Iterable isn't as mature as competitors in this space (Braze, SFMC, etc) in terms of product offerings, they are making strides to get there.
The pure technical-support (ie, cases) aspect has been a silver lining in otherwise subpar support.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a distinct lack of platform and domain knowledge as well as limited proactive/consultative skills among the teams at Iterable. Presumably this is a direct result of the limited tenure of employees; itself likely a result of layoffs and other attrition.
The account management and implementation teams at Iterable have left a lot to be desired. If you go with Iterable, I strongly recommend skipping any add-on services and vetting a third-party partner for any implementation assistance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating customer journeys

Master of marketing tool

  • August 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
One of the best marketing tool I have worked with.
Best features:
1) Great online library to learn tool on your own.
2) Easy integration with our backend tool
3) Flows are very well developed and have all the necessary triggers and conditions.
4) Reporting KPIs for email are spot on.
5) Quick customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only thing i dislike - it's a complicated tool and not so easy to learn.
Will take some time for anyone to get a hang of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us in retaining our customers with quick and personalised email campaigns. All our transaction emails are delivered using Iterable based on different time zone, needs etc and Iterable is able to help us with that.

Great ESP, even better people

What do you like best about the product?
Iterable has been great for us in many ways;

- Event based triggers have allowed us to tap into customer moments and deliver personalised messaging.
- Iterable has also helped us achieve greater levels of personalisation including dynamic content (that we can really dial in using the agility of handlebar logic) and personalised STO.
- AI powered brand affinity score allows us identify users at different stages of brand loyalty and target them appropriately.
- Reusable content including snippets and saved content rows rapidly speeds up campaign creation.
- Reporting, list management and templates are also great.
- Iterable has extensive documentation, online training and and online community to offer support.

As much as we appreciate Iterable as an email solution, by far the best part of switching has been the people. We had great support whilst prospecting and on-boarding, and now working with out customer success manager who is readily available and offers great insight and support. Chat support is available on tap and very helpful, with further technical support available if needed. Iterable host a fantastic conference each year, as well as webinars.
What do you dislike about the product?
Almost nothing! A small bugbear is the media library (libraries). We create our email campaigns using the brilliant drag and drop editor, but as mentioned also take full advantage of the snippets function, which uses the side-by-side editor. Unfortunately, they use different media libraries which means that storing assets that we use for both would mean duplication natively. Instead, we’re currently using our website CMS, however this could limit how we can take advantage of AI powered campaign building, which is coming soon in Iterable. We’re currently working this through.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tapping into customer moments with personalised messaging to build brand affinity and achieve business goals.
