User-Friendly Email Tool that Still Allows for Flexibility

  • November 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
There's also some fun features to play around with, like the ability to add stickers and GIFs. My company doesn't use them, but they're a nice touch.
What do you dislike about the product?
Somehow I missed that in a recent update they added an "expand" button to the sidebar, that brings up the field you need in a pop-up box. I'd still like the ability to resize the field on my own, but the expand button is handy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Iterable makes it easy to format newsletters, enhancing engagement and ensuring timely communications with donors. It gives me some good structure to use as a foundation while allowing me enough flexibility to play.

Additionally, the move from Emfluence to Iterable has proven beneficial due to the advanced capabilities Iterable offers in handling our data.

The reporting in Iterable is finicky and I frequently encounter glitches that have no clear explanation. Additionally, the customer service team requires improvement.

Intuitive and Innovative, But Initial Setup Can Be Challenging

  • November 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Iterable has an easy-to-use interface, making the platform really easy to navigate, which simplifies my work process substantially. The innovative approach they take is highly commendable, as it allows me to explore new ways to enhance our marketing strategies effectively. I appreciate that Iterable often rolls out new features, keeping the platform cutting-edge and allowing me to add variables to the experiment sessions to optimize our marketing efforts further. The ability to send personalized messages to different segments at the optimal time with send/time optimization is a standout feature that significantly improves our communication effectiveness. Additionally, the platform's capability to integrate effortlessly with tools like Salesforce and Snowflake makes it an invaluable part of our marketing stack.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found the initial setup of Iterable to be quite slow and painful, particularly with the push and in-app setup. Additionally, the messaging insights could be improved as there is no way to get rid of unused metrics and track custom events.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Iterable to send personalized messages at the optimal time with send/time optimization and appreciate its user-friendly interface and innovative features.

Iterable is very easy to navigate, with little training required to get new team members started with it. It has all the features that you'd expect from an ESP.

We have to use suppression lists, which count towards our number of users, even though we will never send anything to them.

Usable APIs, But Digioh Frustrations Hinder Recommendation

  • November 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Iterable's APIs to be easy to use, which is a significant positive aspect for me as it facilitates seamless integration and interaction with different systems. This ease of use reflects a thoughtful design and user-friendly approach, making technical operations more manageable. Additionally, during the initial setup of Iterable, the process was acceptable and the onboarding experience was fine, indicating a well-organized and efficient approach to getting users started with the platform. This aspect helps in harmonizing setup across various systems within a group, showing Iterable's capability to accommodate diverse configurations and streamline operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am frustrated with the integration of Digioh as a third-party tool with Iterable, which causes immense frustration due to its complexity and lack of transparency. The fact that it's a massive file to load and the instructions around it being not intuitive or 'you just have to do it this way' does not fit the profile of an acceptable enterprise solution. This inconsistency in ease of use compared to Iterable’s technology represents a significant downside. Furthermore, the unexpected requirement to use Digioh halfway through the onboarding process was not acceptable, and this reliance on a third-party tool makes it impossible for me to recommend Iterable confidently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Iterable as our main ESP for emailing customers, appreciating its easy-to-use APIs.

Great Features with a Steep Learning Curve

  • November 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate that I can manage in-app, journey, email, and push notifications all in one place with Iterable. This feature significantly streamlines my workflow and allows for more efficient campaign management. Furthermore, the organic layout of the software stands out as a particularly beneficial feature. It makes navigating the platform and sourcing data a straightforward and seamless experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am having a really hard time understanding some of the specific nuances about how to use certain features in Iterable, even for simple tools like segmentation. The simple requests cannot be solved by Iterable support and often get reported for bugs. There is a lot of learning expected and almost daily support required for producing and reproducing the basics. It's often a nuanced detail that wouldn't be known through training. Simplifying how to use tools like journey building, segmentation, fields, and events would be helpful. During implementation, people really need structured, hands-on recommendations for what to do and not to do, and some time for experts to review accounts. Right now, we are spending a lot of time and money undoing mistakes that happened last year during implementation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Iterable to manage and monitor marketing campaigns efficiently, integrating email, push notifications, and more in one place, with an easy-to-navigate layout.

User-Friendly and Versatile, But Support Needs Improvement

  • November 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Iterable very user-friendly, with its easy-to-navigate design and good user interface. These aspects are crucial for our work as they simplify the process of making reports and creating lists. The platform enhances our ability to showcase to clients how well our programs are performing. Additionally, it facilitates testing different approaches to improve performance, making it an invaluable tool for our purposes. The initial setup was very easy, which is always appreciated when integrating new software into our system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support help definitely needs improvement. It's impossible to reach them. I have to reach out multiple times to get an answer to a question over the course of multiple weeks and often don't get a response after that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Iterable user-friendly with an easy-to-navigate interface, simplifying reporting and list creation. It helps showcase program performance to clients and test improvements effectively.

What do you like best about the product?
I find it quite intuitive, versatile and powerful. Getting in touch with customer support is easy and people are always very helpful. We are aware that the capabilities of the tool are very big and the integration can be expanded, and we'd love to receive guidance in that respect. People who work with the software everyday find it easy to implement new logics and workarounds. We use it everyday across teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that accessing information and understanding the platform's capabilities could be made more straightforward. There seem to be simpler ways this could be achieved. Maybe some smart tips with AI or accessible case studies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable is making it easy for us to create, analyze, iterate and optimize campaigns that have worked in the past.

User-Friendly Platform with Powerful Email Journeys

  • November 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Iterable for its ability to combine multiple email campaigns into one seamless journey, which greatly enhances our B2B email nurture strategies. The platform is notably more user-friendly compared to other marketing automation tools I’ve encountered, allowing my team to operate it efficiently with minimal need for assistance from other departments. This usability advantage is a significant factor in our shift from using Marketo, as Iterable offers a simpler, more intuitive experience that doesn’t require heavy involvement from an Ops team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I encounter bugs at times, which disrupt the use of the platform. Additionally, some aspects of it are not very intuitive, requiring more effort to learn or use efficiently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Iterable for B2B email nurtures, benefiting from visual segmentation and flow. It's user-friendly compared to other platforms, enabling my team to use it quickly without much assistance.

Intuitive Interface and Powerful Segmentation Make This a Standout Tool

  • November 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The segmentation tool is super helpful. Much easier than some other tools I've use.
I also love the interface. Well laid out, easy to find stuff.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that I can't delete or edit user and event fields. (I know, you hear this a lot)
I really wish I had folders for lists. I hear this is coming soon.
I wish user profiles had a "history" feature, where you can see when fields were added / changed. (similar to how you can view a contact record history in HubSpot)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Embedded messages help us display stuff in our apps without having to get our eng teams involved each time.
Segmentation tools are super helpful, previously we were using SQL heavy products for this
