It's a feature-rich, omnichannel marketing platform in a simple, intuitive package.
What do you like best about the product?
You can put a lot of the "thinking" behind your campaign and user management into Iterable. Specifically, the segmentation and personalization capabilities are phenomenal and really set the platform apart from its competitors. Whether you need to use event or user fields, you can easily create dynamic lists that users enter/exit as they evolve or create conditional logic that's as complex as is needed to make your campaigns work for you.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting and analytics tools, while powerful, sometimes lack the depth or customization that would make them truly insightful for all use cases. For example, building custom reports or filtering data across multiple campaigns can require workarounds. My complaints in this corner of Iterable are more quality of life issues than capability issues, though. If you can't get everything you want in terms of reporting and analytics, there's probably a third-party integration or way to use the API to get what you need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a developer by trade, so I love the handlebars and merge parameters. It can be a bit of a learning curve for those not accustomed to managing logic in this way, but I have done some crazy data manipulations and personalization work that took a subpar data schema and turned it into the personalization outcomes desired by marketers.
Specific to the marketing tools, I like that it's flexible enough that I can follow the heuristics of the platform as a means to an end. For example:
- There are intuitive error messages when you're missing something.
- You can keep it simple or make things complex as needed.
- It's easy to marry internal features to outside web services.

Great!
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Iterable for a while now, and honestly, I’m super impressed. The platform has so many great features, and the support has been top-notch. Shoutout to my rep, Alex, who’s been incredibly responsive and always quick to help whenever I have a question!
What do you dislike about the product?
That said, I’ve got two small but important feature requests: an undo button (because, let’s face it, we all make mistakes!) and auto-save to make sure nothing gets lost mid-edit. Adding these would take Iterable from great to absolutely perfect!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overall, Iterable has made my marketing campaigns more efficient, effective, and data-driven, which frees me up to focus on big-picture strategies instead of getting bogged down in manual tasks. It’s a huge win for both productivity and results!
Easy to use and has what I need for segmentation and journeys
What do you like best about the product?
Iterable is a solid tool. The interface is user-friendly and intuitive—it makes setting up campaigns feel straightforward. Personalization options are good too. It’s easy to tailor messages to make them feel relevant, and it handles almost everything you’d need for B2C messages.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Iterable is a good tool, there are a few things that are missing. For example, there’s no way to schedule a campaign to run on the same day every month—you have to use workaround logic, which can be time consuming. Also, the in-app messaging (IAM) capabilities are pretty basic. If you want something more visually engaging, you’ll need to use HTML, which adds extra work. These things don’t ruin the experience, but it would make the experince better if they were there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable helps us make multi-channel campaigns that drive customer engagement and conversions. It allows us to segment our audience based on behavior and preferences. We use it to send targeted messages like credit reminders, VIP offers, and abandoned cart nudges. Its automation capabilities save time while ensuring our campaigns are consistent. This benefits us by increasing customer retention and boosting revenue.
A strong ESP option
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to get granular or remain top level when building emails in Iterable. The drag and drop editor is simple enough for non-email savvy colleagues to use, but the HTML options make it fully customizable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Iterable's data tracking and segmentation features could be better. It clearly caters to a wide audience of B2B, B2C, ecomm and other companies who might need an ESP. It's not a perfect solution for a media company specifically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We sent thousands of emails a day as a media company with a robust newsletter mailing list. Iterable allows several of us to work on different email campaigns at once and segment our audiences for the proper customer journey.
Awesome, super user-friendly email marketing platform.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy and fun to use, fast reporting capabilities and all the features that I need as an email marketing professional. Also very happy with the customer support we received by the helpful and friendly team at Iterable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything I dislike about Iterable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We partnered with Iterable for our email marketing campaigns, Journeys and SMS deployment. We're able to set up journeys easily and send emails and SMS to our audience.
Konec Mobile feedback of Iterable
What do you like best about the product?
Iterable is a great tool to create automated and trigger journeys. This allows us to communicate accurately by segmenting customers and timing of communications. The Iterable team is also a highlight of the organisation, very smart and cooperative in achieving results desired.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration between Iterable and our database was difficult and we we had to recreate our Iterable structure to serve the use-case particular to Telco environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable is helping with customer engagement at the right timing. Retention is the biggest challenge for Telco provider and talking to the customers about proactively about retention offers and reactively to retain a expired customer are the biggest value of Iterable.
Good for complex systems
What do you like best about the product?
The strength is the complexity that they can handle.
What do you dislike about the product?
They have limitations on wysiwyg editing, the support can be lightweight, and we were mislead a couple of times on best data structures
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allow us to mange a 200+ transactional email ecosystem and complex blast marketing campaigns.
One of the most intuitive UI/UX in the space that I have ever used paired with great support & docs
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use while still mainting the complexity and advanced tools necessary to do unique and highly customizable things for your business to stand out.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some usage metrics that would be helpful. Right now you can see your current usage but it would be nice to see what the usage is out of your limit instead of having to refer back to the contract.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilize dynamic content very heavily in our sends and the ease of use with Iterable's handlebars and dynamic content makes it easy to execute these campaigns.
No Complaints - Nothing that Wow's Me
What do you like best about the product?
It's ease of usage and wide variety of features that can be used across a spectrum of clients. It's pretty easy to integrate and upload lists into certain segmentations. I use the service on a weekly basis and have never had a problem so it's pretty easy to impement and carry out. With that, due to this, I can't really comment on customer support for i've never had any issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of limitations when it comes to actually mocking up an email which causes extra time to be spent when it should be more straight forward. Ex: I can't change the font color on one portion of the same section without changing the whole section. Another, there is no picker tool that I can use to ensure my colors match the clients logo.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to solve to problem of face value with reporters so we're able to send weekly newsletters to high profile decision makers to ensure they see our name.
