What do you like best about the product?
Everything in my opinion, great tool. Also was able to learn the the NGFW very easily with available resources.

Nothing in particular I have noticed for my years of use.

Palo Alto Networks Cloud NGFW improves entire cloud security by providing cloud-native threat protection, smooth scaling, easier management, and enhanced compliance visibility.
The Features on firewall and customer support is great

I work for AWS support now and have previously worked on Palo Alto. The product is amazing and easy to implement. It has many amazing features and customer support is top-notch. It is well integrated for different use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would be happy to see more free trainings available online for the product.

I work on mostly the firewalling and vpn feature of Firewall and it makes it easy for a company to establish its global connectivity
Advanced threat prevention with visibility and control

What is most valuable?
The most effective features for threat prevention include the threat prevention signature level, the application filter capability, and the visibility provided by the firewalls.
We use these tools to prevent all known and unknown threats using Palo Alto Networks' Wildfire and other data filtering tools to gather information, analyze traffic, manage malicious traffic, and offer visibility, control, and attack prevention.
What needs improvement?
When managing the firewall, it involves a Strata Cloud web browser that requires improvement to enhance deployment ease and call center efficiency.
Additionally, focusing more on enhancing the Stata Cloud Manager would be beneficial.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have used this solution for three years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The solution is very stable and has been in the market for the last 16 weeks.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
We are very much satisfied with the tool's scalability.

The support is quite responsive, but the support quality could be improved. They should focus on enhancing the support provided.

The pricing is at a reach level. I'm not the person who deals with exact pricing details.
What other advice do I have?
I recommend going with the VM series, as it integrates advanced technological standards on a single platform and supports Kubernetes and Docker, which other vendors often don't offer.
I rate the overall solution ten out of ten.
Palo Alto My opinion
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing I like about Palo Alto Networks Cloud NGFW is deep packet inspection. The traditional packet filtering doesn't contain the feature of checking the body of packet for any malware whereas dpi chceks it with the header. There were cases where that helped us and save us from malware.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its expensive, with the document being not that user friendly for novice people. Customer support can be better, has complex configurtions for resources.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The DPI has helped us significantly, earlier the attcaks on us bypassed our security and we weren't able to figure out the issue, but then we started using Palo Alto Networks Cloud NGFW DPI, it has caught several such malwares and helped hours of investigation.
Great solution to Cloud NGFW
What do you like best about the product?
Palo Alto Cloud NGFW helps us as a perimeter firewall, applying border policies. For us, it is the best option to establish a site-to-site VPN with other internal clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the dashboard responds slowly, but everything is all right.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With this firewall, we were able to implement the best policies. Thanks to Global Protect, the internal client can securely access the company's data, and it was the only solution that facilitated the creation of a site-to-site VPN from a cloud environment.

Very intuitive, easy to navigate, and the features it has are very useful make my life easier as an IT Technician when it comes to networking.

There wasn't too much I did not like, maybe the ability to add custom themes to better match the business I work at.

It keeps my work environment safe and secure from any threat actors. The logs and statistics I am able to see and record help with my reports.
Easy to navigate and manage

I really enjoyed using the Palo Alto NGFW because they were reliable and easy to navigate.

Randomly we would have issues if the firewall freezing / rules breaking, but aside from that no issue

Palo alto is helping increase visiblity and control alonside with threat protection. Less unwanted traffic going between networks and being able to clearly see traffic while monitoring and controlling applications
Easy To Manage

Uninterrupted Upgrades - really save me time as a network Engineer. Additionally auto detection of anomalies are really helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
palo alto networks NGFW provides comprehensive security with threat protection that can allow control over applications and the whole ecosystem. It also helps in preventing various malwares, ransomwares. Also its easy of use is very helpful in identifying the threats.

Cost is one factor i find costly. Initial learning curve is also complex. The complex nature of the product makes it difficult to learn
