The best product for retail and e-commerce
What do you like best about the product?
It's very user friendly. Everything you can find on IBM portal or Java docs .
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no guidance or training available in google . Also you can find any answers in google

Retail and e-commerce all platform is covered with IBM sterling OMS. Inventory, order management warehouse etc

What do you like best about the product?
Sterling OMS is best able to be customised to meet the customer's requirements. And the APIs that are provided by it are very effective to handle db operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sterling OMS is like an ocean, Has a huge number of features. Many of them are unused by the customers but the customers have to purchathe whole package. Sterling can be disintegrated and loosely coupled
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IBM Sterling has an effective handling of Inventory management and Payment processing. It is very much open to be integrated with other systems, both synchronously and asynchronously
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In the market, IBM Sterling is the most scalable and easy-to-implement Product with most of the eCommerce Features available out of the box. so, This product can be considered while implementing an OMS for any eComm business.

What do you dislike about the product?
They need to deep dive to provide more support for warehouse management which is relatively weak. Software depth and breadth of functionality is challenged in complex supply chain operations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used IBM sterling for a store to go online completely during the pandemic, where it helped us to track the order status and inventory. It was a bit complex to learn initially but made our life so easy during the later part—best way to track the delivery process for the customers.

What do you like best about the product?
It is the best Order management platform out there and we have been using it since it was out in the market.. it is really easy to understand and provides various features to make enhancements or make integrations with other applications etc.. it is also a flawless product with very little bug fixes needed.. it has many features that are very useful for the flawless movement of order from one stage to another..
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot think of any but I guess it will be its look I guess and that too because it is really old and tht is how it was designed to look.. but the configurator could use a little more changes other than that I do not have any problems as such..

I have been working with the internal solutions team in my organization and work with sterling as a product and enhancements on top of it like various tools for the ease of our clients and also try to do different integrations with other platforms like payment platforms or carriers and all so that we can provide a complete solution to our clients

Powerful cloud based Order Management system with intelligent sourcing and scheduling which can be easily integrated with variety of Front end systems.

Reporting - Would have liked some out of the box reporting as well which will make the product even more powerful

Its bit complex in the beginning to learn the system, plus there are not much helpful documents available online.

I have used IBM Sterling Order Management to make a retail store go completely online and track the status of orders and inventory. It is really very effective tool, and provides smooth processing of orders.

Please refer multiple documents as its a bit difficult to get hold of it very fast. Allot some time to understand the application. Otherwise its a great product to work with and easy to follow.
