Haven't had much experience with Ansible, but I love the potential is has.
What do you like best about the product?
As stated, I do not have a lot of experience with Ansible. However, what I have seen of it is definitely impressive and I like that it can be used as an infrastructure management and configuration management tool. This essentially allows it to be the definitive tool to use when automating IT processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Comparing it with something like Terraform, Ansible is much more complicated to learn initially. I think if I trained on it some I would probably get over this feeling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deploying Nutanix resources automatically without the need to use the user interface, so I can avoid repeating tasks for setting up demo environments.
Ansible is a very powerful - and fun - solution for many distributed system tasks
What do you like best about the product?
Ansible is incredibly extensible. It can be used for something as simple as syncing a file across a number of servers. It can be used for complex tasks like patch-and-reboot. And the learning curve for getting started is not very steep. You can be running your first playbook in no time at all.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few peculiarities, some things which require complex solutions when it seems like there should be a simpler way. These things are most often surmountable, but finding the answer may take a good deal of research and consideration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Redhat AAP is helping me automate quarterly OS patching across several hundred VMs. Our previous patching method included many shell commands. It took a great deal of time and was not practical or scalable. AAP is both.
Easy to learn, install and get your project going in a short amount of time.

Ansible for Financial Systems Automation
What do you like best about the product?
Not sure I have a like best, I would have been happy with Tower. What I appreciate are not AAP, but ansible. I guess I am looking forward to understanding and possibly using Mesh. There is value in the Execution environments and Ansible Navigator for devs and maintaining a stable platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's getting too complicated lately. the modern techniques of collections and use of hub are adding overhead that it takes too much effort to migrate to especially for multiple teams that will not make it a priority.
Changes seem to come too fast, we need time to be able to get value out of the work we have already completed.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The automation of our build process is pretty complete in Ansible and managed by AAP.
