What do you like best about the product?
That we can run scans on our won on systems that we bring online. Also that it gives us remediation notes for vulnerabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
That the scans sometimes take a while to run, and sometimes adding external IPs to scan doesn't always work as intended.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving issues with devices - such as printers - that are generically installed. Through Frontline we were able to identify these and get them remediated.

What do you like best about the product?
The dashboard is great, friendly and gives clear answers and ways to resolve the issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Few issues with the startup which were on our side to get the VM ware software setup not an issue with Frontline
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Various outdated firmware, EOL machines etc
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This program is the way to go, support is top notch. They were always willing to setup meetings with us to go over some of the features which we were not as familiar with etc.

Great visibility tool with a useful interface

What do you like best about the product?
Full visibility across all our systems allows us to plan patches and maintenance in an orderly, systemic way. Automated scanning ensures we miss nothing.
What do you dislike about the product?
We'd love to see active threat monitoring as part of our current service. As for the product as-is, zero complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Frontline combined with DDI's attentive service allows us to monitor our infrastructure with confidence. On-demand scanning lets us make sure the patches we apply fix the actual problem

A way to keep up with security vulnerabilities on your network

What do you like best about the product?
The Active View of the interface shows a list of vulnerabilities and assets that have been scanned. This makes it easy to click through and see what vulnerabilities exist, and also which devices have vulnerabilities. The lists are highlight via severity so you can focus on which ones are most severe first if you prefer.

When questions have arised in the past the customer support has also been responsive and able to solve the problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any major dislikes, but in some cases I wish the details on some vulnerabilities could be more specific with solutions. Sometimes the solution is clear, but other times it can be more vague, or it may not be clear which patch is the correct patch for the machine if there are multiple versions of the patch.

Also creating your own scan from scratch is not always that intuitive when setting them up, if you are not experienced with the scan settings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to maintain a high score on our network security by reviewing the Frontline scans and correcting vulnerabilities, especially critical and high vulnerabilities. The scan reviews have been very beneficial not just in keeping our company's network secure, but helps keep our audit score high during annual audits.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When setting up an account, try to learn how the different scan settings work. We have a monthly scan set up with predefined settings that allows us to rescan vulnerabilities found in the scan using the same scan settings which is easy, but it's also nice to be able to create new scans if needed. There are different settings for internal and external scans, as well as for authenticated scans versus scans that are not authenticated. Knowing how that works is essential when setting up new scan types on your own.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate and resolve potential security issues. Good to see both internal and external security problems that can be addressed.

It's a full-time job to stay on top of security vulnerabilities.

We are closing the vulnerabilities found to keep the network safe.

What do you like best about the product?
The site is really easy to use to determine what machines and devices have issues as will as it contains a great deal of information on how to solve those vulnerabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a little confusing on how to remove a device that has been removed from the network.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Internal and External vulnerabilities. It details out the issue, provides solutions for most issues and also provides links to more detailed information about said issues.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Digital Defense is really quick to set-up and really easy to use and schedule. It is great for it's abilities to run extra scans when you need or want to see how your progress is going on remediation.

Top notch vulnerability and penetration testing

What do you like best about the product?
Digital Defense has been great so far with both vulnerability and penetration scanning and testing. The reports are very easy to decipher, scanning has been super smooth, and their support has been quick to respond and helpful with each step in the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far we haven't found anything I could say we dislike about the product or services. Everything through the past year has went very well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PCI compliancy with both vulnerability scanning and penetration testing is a major problem we have solved through Digital Defense.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you do your research and read testimonials as well as matching requirements, I think you'll find Digital Defense is the best option you'll come across for your security needs and compliance.
