Great tool for monitoring and provide great help in Client project
What do you like best about the product?
Instana helps to track application easily. UI is great, very handy to use .
Issues are resolved on time because of monitoring alerts.

At first I faced little trouble in navigation otherwise it is all great once we are in a flow using this then not any such problems arises.

What do you like best about the product?
Great tool to tracking API calls and figure out any automated call disturbing the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much to not like Instana,
But they can improve on there UI and presentation of overall data.

What do you like best about the product?
Instana has value for every process that a company has; therefore, it supports all the operations and ensures reports are outlined on time.
Further, Instana improves the behavioral abilities of every player in the company, as there are proper recording and follow-ups are made or done ASAP.
Finally, Instana increases the productive scope; therefore, there is expansion support from the tool.

Instana is a reliable and friendly monitoring tool, and it perfects the operations of every business, more so the small of the growing ones. More so, Instana has a credible team that validates every inquest and ensures updates are deployed swiftly and immediately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instana offers stability in a company, and there is consistent help from the way business activities are done due to the operational support.
More so, Instana offers a well-developed report, which guides the employees on the appropriate mechanisms that can boost the business and makes it more appealing and yield high.

The alarms system is very effective and easy to monitor.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user story is a little messy and sometimes gets lost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm monitoring my Kubernetes cluster with Instana, and the integration with Pagerduty is excellent.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Some alarm systems need to be reviewed. We had some alarms associated with no traffic users that weren't triggered.

One of the Best Go to Suite for Monitoring and Managing your Overall Infra
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best things that I love about Instana is its usability and interface about events, monitoring status, details of API logs, their flow and debugging traces for any failure, and a lot of stuff. For any application, you can see the dependencies (of DBs, other microservices, processes..etc.), overall infrastructure, all other connected services, alerts, support for Kubernetes, AWS, and other platforms, configurations, and overall calls for that particular application. Due to its ease of usage containing all these features, I would highly recommend establishing this tool in an organization for managing their relevant features from the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall from a usability, accessibility, and features point of view, I didn't come across any cons as such to the date. Some of the feature request we would be requesting to add in upcoming years; let's see how that goes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have our entire infrastructure, including running websites, apps, Kubernetes clusters, databases status, applications logs, and failure traces integrated with Instana. On a daily basis, we use it to monitor all the apps of a cross-functional team with their relevant services and apps. Thanks to this platform, monitoring and managing all these services have become hassle-free.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are tools out there in the market. And after using this tool for a while now, I'd highly recommend using INSTANA for all your monitoring and managing infra, Kubernetes cluster, applications, and other services across the organization.

With Instana's fully automated application observability, you can make sense of your chaotic cloud-native settings, providing the context you need to take intelligent actions and ensure optimum application performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not good as Datadog because Datadog is the most popular cloud monitoring service. IT, operations, and development teams utilize it to construct and execute applications on dynamic or hybrid cloud infrastructure. With Datadog, you can start monitoring in seconds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remove the burden of manual observability and application monitoring off your Dev+Ops teams.

Instana cannot view code at the method level.
There is no function to view log history, extract specific values, save them as metric, and display them.
Automatic installation of DEM is not supported.
To use the AI function, you need to add Watson.

We efficiently checked the link between various applications in the currently deployed Kubernetes environment. We were able to separate and analyze the points of disability using INSTANA.
