What do you like best about the product?
User friendly, Java and HTML based UI to control, manage and automate complex day to day Data Center Operations and tasks with Integration with VMware Ecosystem, Other partners HCI solutions and Powershell are the best part. Further, Modular, reusable easily scriptable components or workflow are love.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with public clouds is missing.

VRA is a very useful tool when it comes to automation of virtual setups.

What do you like best about the product?
Now since every thing is related to cloud computing the virtual network is growing huge and so does the automation part of it. So If we use the inbuild functionality of VMware and use VRA for all automation related blueprints we don't have to waste time and resources using other Automation and Orchestrator tools since the setup is already connected to the VCF .
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a bit of patients to know the full functionality of VRA and VRO.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All types of automation related to VMs and Networks Like NSX-v and NSX-t. Benefits are these all plugins are api based and that to REST apis so its easy to play around .

What do you like best about the product?
The most appealing thing is its learning curve, its as good as no learning curve. Its ui is so intuitive that you just click it ti learn. Having a visual view of your code is alwayd great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ad there is very limited support of javascript(without extentions), at times it becomes very frustrating to finding better ways to do things
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used it for block/file storage provisioning automation. As it is easy to learn and use we are able to deliver quickly. Api are readily available (though we added a proxy layer using api manager to give wnd user more simple format API and security).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it best when u r using with aby other vmware stack products or want to automate small taks. For general programming there are lot many options like python,go are available.

What do you like best about the product?
I have extensively worked on this product when it comes to orchestrate the scripts in terms of automating the workload deployment in our OPCx (VMWare Cloud Suit) -vRA. I personally feel it is pretty easy tool graphically to manage bunch of work flows and easy get same feeling of easiness while patch releases too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some what I feel it is bit behind to see it has much more compatibly with latest products - when I compare other tools like Terraform and etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When it comes to troubleshooting when work-flows fail - be it workload builds or failures. it will be easy to navigate bunch of flows and and I do not find any overhand of its maintenance.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend when it comes to VMWare that you leverage at virtual layer, as I have been working on this product for last five years at least.

What do you like best about the product?
Its good tool overall, as we manage to deploy all our customer VM's along with the network configuration, user provisioning, and was fast as well.

lack of good interactive Map or a deployment MAP

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to customize workflows with the help of vRealize Orchestrator, PowerShell support, OpenShift support, vRA blueprints, and Multi-Tenancy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup itself is hard to follow and made us start from scratch on a few occasions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1) Application-specific configurations for network, database, ports.
2) Reducing dependency on IT/Infra team.

Not really sure if there is much here to say it provides a lot more flexibility than any available multi cloud management platform.
