Using it for project and task management
What do you like best about the product?
it's accesible, easily sharable, supports email automation and has a lot of templates that are working for me
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporing functionliaty is lacking - I tried creating several reports for basic BI but the functionliaty is just not there even compared to excel

It is a simple system to use for beginners which is helpful, and sharing to the of information to the relavent team members is a really useful feature which we use frequently.
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of the functionality which is required isn't available on a standard license and requires costly add ons to get the functions and efficientcy that we require , but unfortunately is not within our budget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets helps with the day to day running of our business, by allowing an allocation of work to team members. It also assists with keeping all ouf our project costs and changes in one place.

Several functionalities ought to introduce more interactive explanations into the mix.

This document assists me in effectively tracking information across various programs and projects, empowering us to maintain a firm grip on critical operational data. By doing so, we ensure meticulous oversight and prevent any potential pitfalls down the road.
Very helpful PM Tool - Does the job well but can be tricky for more sophisticated portfolio
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and user friendly interface. I like the ability to synchronize everything real time on my Project Status Dashboard (Project Plan & RAID) to bring up an insightful high level view. Massive step from when I was using MS Project (or Excel). Nice Dashboard to circulate internally and to clients.

What do you dislike about the product?
It is complex to link together a portfolio of projects to have an aggregated Dashboard view. It should be technically easier for the user and with less glitches.
There are some limitations on the layouts of Dashboards not all information are clearly readable.

Real time sync of my updates on a Dashboard. Aggregate view of project portfolio. Elevated governance via insightful Dashboards. Less time spent on weekly updates and less prone to manual errors.

Collaboration, automation and ease of basic data collection
I also really like the automated document creation and docusign integration
Used to use Monday.com which had a better UX but was an inferior product in terms of features and integrations

What do you dislike about the product?
Only one form allowed per row, why oh why can't I have multiple forms to collect data per row. I know there are workarounds,but they aren't as good and slick as forms

Use Smartsheets for customer order updates.
What do you like best about the product?
It works very well with excel. Simple copy and paste. Also like being able to attach files to rows. Customers seem to like being able to view it online also.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet is nice but it needs to be more automated. It takes too long to manually update the smartsheets. It would be better if you could open a smartsheet, click a button and it could pull in information from an excel or pdf file.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows the customers to be on the same page with the vendor so they know when to expect their material. It is very easy for them to log into it at anytime for their information.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like email automation features, and the way visual dashboards can be created. I also like that it's intuitive and relatively easy to learn. I would recommend it to any workplace working with a team!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes slow to load and difficult to log in. I also think conditional formatting could be better and there could be more options to change things and make our own formulae.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me keep track of Action Items which I need to fill in, and to see how far we are on projects. It also helps to keep information.
A good upgrade from free/simpler options
What do you like best about the product?
So customizable, even though I don't need all the features, I like knowing that there are options for making my workflow even better.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not very intuitive. Having the google background helps, but some of the features take time to notice. I would also love to better customize notifcations.

Eliminating emails and making requests/workflow more direct.

We like that it simple to use in its simple to use in its basix format. I allows us to move our work into workspaces, allowing us to seperate our clients from one another.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its functions are limiting and also time consuming unless you pay for costly extras which are not helpful to start up or small business that can'y afford this cost however need the function that they require.

Smartsheet allows us to keep all of our infirmation in one place in managable locations which can be shared with the team members that need them making it easy for them to find the information they are looking for.

What do you like best about the product?
Automation - the ability to set up reports and notify team members based on conditions is useful and saves a lot of time. A very simple feature to understand once you know it exists.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet takes a while to get used to and a lot of self training is required. You have to commit to spending a considerable amount of time on understanding the platform before actually being able to get on board with it. There are certain capabilities that it has that are fantastic but in some ways are limited due to functionalities or lack of training on how to utilise it to the best of its abilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to implement a training record which has worked well and to what we need which is a great way of looking at it. There are some limitations such as not being able to share a report without them having access to the main data which makes the whole purpose redundant if you can't share sections of the data. There is automation to allow reports to be sent but from the main data in this record but it is dependent on being able to access all the data. Limitations on formula calculations to autocalculate from fields.
