Outstanding Compliance Partner
What do you like best about the product?
Scytale have been our trusted compliance partner for over 2 years now - providing visibility, clarity and project-based approach for all of our certification. Their product is great (including various integrations) but their commitment to their customers is even better.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UX can be a bit overwhelming at first but once you onboard with one compliance framework you understand all of them - don't worry as they will guide you through it throughout the compliance process!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Compliance partner - guiding us through various certification, audits, etc.
Great Experience with the Compliance Expert
What do you like best about the product?
The platform itself is solid, but our compliance manager Laura was outstanding. She is patient, detailed and knowledgable. We were able to get through the entire SOC 2 process with no major hiccups thanks to her leadership and guidance.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were a few small friction points brought up about the control center and other parts of the interface. I'll leave it to the other team members to detail as they were more involved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used Scytale for SOC 2 compliance.

What do you like best about the product?
It was very intuitive to use. As a team it was easy to compile information required.
What do you dislike about the product?
There was nothing we disliked about it. This tool has helped us become a better business and has enabled our team to clearly understand the necessary parameters.

Scytale has been instrumental in demonstrating to our customers just how compliant and secure we are. In a time when everyone is prioritizing security, we can now confidently showcase our achievements in this area.

What do you like best about the product?
I have found Scytale to be incredibly beneficial for our organization, particularly in supporting our SOC 2 and ISO certifications. The ease of setting it up was remarkable, thanks to the fantastic support from our account executive, Ashna Jeeva, who has been consistently on top of our auditing processes, ensuring everything stays on track. This supportive, personalized approach makes me greatly appreciate their services. The platform they offer is also extremely useful for following up and keeping track of the certification process and any missing documents, which streamlines our operations significantly. This not only makes us more trustworthy as an organization but also ensures a smoother certification process, ultimately helping us comply with data privacy and becoming more appealing to larger clients. I feel that Scytale's personal touch and efficiency make it an invaluable tool, and I am highly likely to recommend it to others, rating it a ten out of ten.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see minor improvements in the email notification system, particularly for urgent matters that need immediate attention.

What I like most about Scytale is the truly tailored and professional service we’ve received throughout our entire journey. The team has been exceptionally responsive and always willing to help with any question or challenge along the way. I have to give special credit to Laura Quan, who has consistently gone above and beyond — always available, kind, and incredibly professional. Her guidance and positive attitude made the whole process smooth and enjoyable.

In the complex world of compliance — where we honestly didn’t understand much at the beginning — Scytale (and especially Laura) helped us navigate everything with clarity and confidence. They make compliance smarter, not harder. Their structured approach and simple explanations turned what could have been an overwhelming process into something clear, efficient, and manageable.
Efficient SOC2 Compliance with Stellar Support
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Scytale’s ability to cater to both novices and experienced users, making the learning curve manageable and guidance accessible, especially if you've never done auditing before. Once familiar, the platform allows users to pick up the pace quickly and smoothly. I find their integration feature highly beneficial, as it automatically collects evidence and identifies issues, which significantly streamlines the SOC2 auditing process. The dashboard is particularly useful, providing a clear, quick overview of compliance status, which I value greatly. I also recognize the team's helpfulness in explaining how to collect manual evidence and finding the best ways to proceed in various situations. The time it took to achieve SOC2 readiness for an external audit in just four weeks is incredibly impressive and highlights the efficiency of the platform. Additionally, the responsiveness and support from the team have made my experience enjoyable, and I highly regard their effective assistance throughout the auditing process.
What do you dislike about the product?
- The learning curve for Scytale is steep, especially for those without prior auditing experience. While the platform does its best to guide users, it can be daunting initially. - I wish there were more assistance and a guided process in justifying exceptions and deviations to avoid manual work, even though I understand these are meant to be exceptional cases. - The integration support for platforms like DigitalOcean is limited, with few features and configuration aspects automatically controlled. Although this is somewhat expected given DigitalOcean's status compared to larger providers, it still poses a limitation, and improved support would be beneficial. - The policies syncing process could be improved. Currently, I have to download signed policies manually from Scytale and upload them to Google Drive. An automatic export feature would be much appreciated. Not that I edit policies very often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Scytale for SOC2 auditing, benefiting from its integration features to automatically collect evidence and address issues efficiently, reducing the time to readiness for external audits significantly. The platform is user-friendly for both beginners and experienced users.

I greatly appreciate how Scytale has streamlined the audit preparation and execution process, making it notably easy and simple. The user interface is well-designed and intuitive, adding to the ease of use. I value the support provided by Logan and Robin who were incredibly helpful and nice during the SOC two type two audit. Their professionalism and knowledge made the process smooth and stress-free. Additionally, Scytale brings great value by effectively organizing and creating order in the collection of evidence for audits, which is crucial for security compliance. The ability to manage user compliance through policy signing and security training sessions has been particularly useful and supportive of our organization’s compliance efforts. I find every feature useful and the comprehensive look of the system, along with the professional login experience, emphasizes its reliability. I am confident in recommending it to others, rating it a ten out of ten in likelihood of recommendation.

I was promised an integration with leading cyber security (Palo Alto Prisma) would be at a specific date, ready for integration with our SaaS - didn't happen
