An easy-to-use database that helps streamline collaboration and planning
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is a great tool for both individual and team planning. It's user-friendly, and setup in a way that makes it easy to access and understand your data. It's easy to customize your base with virtually any type of data you would need to track. It's also so helpful that Airtable offers forms and automations to help streamline data collection even further.
Airtable's website is also a useful tool, as there are many roubust tutorials that help new users figure out how to get set up (and help frequent users discover new abilities!).

What do you dislike about the product?
I have used Airtable for several years now, and the biggest downside (to me) is how more and more features are now only accessible from a paid membership. When I first joined, I never had issues with things like limits of collaborators on bases. Now, more features are reserved only for those who pay to have a membership. As someone who also likes to use Airtable for personal (and not exclusively business) use, it's a bit dissapointing to lack access to some of the paid features.
In addition, it's not as powerful as Excel when you need to work with a lot of numbers. If you need to implement special formulas into your database, Airtable likely won't cut it for you.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At my organization, I work in the Event Planning team. This means we are constantly cycling through events, each of which has it's own unique set of details and data. Airtable offers us a space to keep track of each event and the many nuanced details associated with them. And since we are a highly collaborative team, Airtable allows us to easily edit/update records so we can each see the most recent information in real time. It gives us a platform to see our events through from start to finish, and houses all the information in a neat and visually-pleasing base which we can reference even after the event concludes.
Airtable also makes it easy to pull CSV downloads of our bases, which is helpful so we can run/compile reports for other departments as needed during end-of-year reporting.
Through the use of forms, Airtable also gives us a place where we can create RSVP forms for events and request file uploads as needed for specific opportunities.
Automations also offer helpful reminders/streamline planning process (though truthfully, I have not spent the time to really dive in to see the full capabilities that automations can offer).
We can use due dates to help create task lists for specific events, which helps keep our projects on track without constant individual follow-up.

The key to making Database Coding extinct
What do you like best about the product?
The best low/no code database application that gives you almost all the ability you would get by developing applications through coding and raw database interaction
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features are still required to make it absolutely powerful over coding. These can be the most basic of the requirements that airtable would not support. But luckily their updates have started covering these needs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dont need the highest of qualifications to start development - Low or even no coding is required to get started
Can Appoint someone right away
Easier knowledge transfer from peer to peer
Access based usage - Provides for all kinds of user and developers to be onboarded onto airtable
Amazing Community - Don't have to learn everything about airtable features, can just dive right in and learn by others' examples. Mostly the problem you will encounter would already have been asked and answered by someone

Great functionality, but comes at a cost.
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable makes it easy for me to keep track of projects across my team. It also helps to automate mundane process like status tracking and serves as a high-level interface for managers to understand what is going on in the organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have a large number of users who only need view-only access to our bases to get the information they need to do their jobs but to easily give them access would mean purchasing more licenses. Justifying that cost for view-only access is difficult!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of project statuses and allowing for a high-level view of all projects going on in our organization.
Airtable: Simplifying Business Processes and Eliminating Information Silos
What do you like best about the product?
They LISTEN! I have used Airtable to solve our organization's business problems and meet our goals for over two years now. There were several features we desired that weren't available when we first began using Airtable. I am happy to say that not only has customer service been responsive and helpful in conveying our desires & questions, but the developers have also implemented new features in easy to use formats and within a relatively fast timeline.
My team uses Airtable for many of our daily processes, record keeping, data sharing/syncs and communication. Airtable allows us to customize UX/UI for our colleagues so they can see only the information they need in an aesthetically pleasing format. This format is able to be changed to fit their needs whenever necessary. This allows us to reserve the data view for our analysts, engineers, and Airtable power users, so that all of our staff can interact with Airtable at the level they're comfortable at (or require) without worry.
By leveraging interfaces with our data view and automations, we've been able to reduce the amount of apps we use for different processes, as well as the number of manual tasks required for each:
1. Processing and sending invoices
2. Renting equipment and managing inventory
3. Training employees
4. Managing departmental assets
5. Booking reserved spaces
6. Organize, book and manage recurring service jobs

What do you dislike about the product?
When some features are introduced they are done so without an announcement (or a delayed announcement) in "What's New", and you must rely on using Airtable regularly and extensively to catch these additions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our biggest issues that Airtable is solving right now are information silos, interdepartmental client tracking, and departmental billing processes. Historically, our organization has provided services to the same pool of clients but at separate units, and we have not has an effective way to track people's interaction history across the organization. By using Airtable to sync our CRMs, we are able to better service our clients based off of their cumulative record history and route billing to one central place for all units!
Great Task Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best thing about Airtable is that it's very intuitive and the learning curve isn't steep. The calendar view, tagging and automations make it a great tool for task management within a team.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could be a bit expensive especially for Non-profits. If there are special plans or even free service (e.g. like Canva) for non-profits that would really be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There was a lack of planning and coordination in my Marketing Team before when it comes to digital content planning and production. After using Airtable, teammates can participate in planning just by easy drag and drop. With different views everyone knows easily where the whole team is heading to and also what their individual contributions should be.
An Amazing too to build your own App
What do you like best about the product?
I particularly like the simplicity of the tool, which allows you to do great things with relatively simple knowledge. Its ease of use enabled me to implement our CRO database within the company. We use it every day. Nearly 40 of us use the tool.
We have connected it to Miro, PowerPoint, our communication tools, and also Jira. Thus, we only use Airtable within the team, but it allows us to remain transparent with the rest of the company; such ease of integration.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's quiet a bit expensive, but it's just because i need to provide something that i dislike. I don't have much to say about customer support, as I haven't had the occasion to contact them because all the information is available online, along with the help forum.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Airtable, we have built a CRO database that allows us to collect all testing requests. We can prioritize them and generate the ticketing flow. This gives us a complete overview of the status of each of our initiatives.
It’s a very flexible excel
What do you like best about the product?
This design of it is very cute, some people might find it not looked professional tho.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the visualization is not as flexible
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am not on top of this

The best program for the job!
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Love the interface and automations. I use this program every day for work! Like a smart version of Excel. Also love the way to make custom pages.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like the homepage. It's disorganized and I do not like how things are sorted. I wish we could customize the homepage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable lets us collaborate with all members of the project. Easy to sort and implement large quantities of data.
Integration and Creativity Heaven
What do you like best about the product?
How much flexibility and use cases exist with the integrations. Implementation was easy for myself and my team, we use it daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the automations don't allow much customability unfortunately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Airtable as our Knowledge Base with it's robust GUI
