Flexible Product That's Whatever You Want It to Be
What do you like best about the product?
You can set up a variety of projects in Airtable. Once a project is set up, you still have the flexibility to shift based on developing needs. I heavily use the automations to save time and make the system work for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like that I can send emails through automations, but I wish the email system was more robust in terms of formatting and visual appearance (easily, that is). I also wish there was a way to track email opens and engagement. But I recognize that is probably not a landmark feature for most Airtable use cases.
I also feel there is a learning curve that can be tricky. When I share things with other users with less experience than me, it is a pain trying to help them understand what I've set up.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Airtable a bit more like a CRM so it helps us manage hundreds (sometime thousands) of records. We are able to collect information and update records easily using forms and automations which saves significant time.

Better than just a spreadsheet!

Intuitive design and merging of the best features of a spreadsheet with the power of a relational database.
The system is cloud-based and accessible across a multitude of platforms.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is a steep learning curve for designing workspaces and interfaces.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable helps me manage a multi-deparment budget with 18 difference accounts across 4 regions. I previously used a spreadsheet to manage the budget, but found that Airtable is more efficient and user friendly across these different accounts.
AirTable has been a huge impact at my job
What do you like best about the product?
AirTable is a great organizational tool, that is effective to create custom views based on team member needs. I also love the Interface function to create tools that we use at specific milestones through our process. I've also been able to use AirTable extensions to create printable material to share in presentations.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations to print certain views of data. Also, I wish there was a better way to create a hierarchy chart (or "data tree").
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AirTable has become almost a one stop shop for information shared between teams and is the best way to organize information and tasks
Excel on steroids
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, pretty colors, loads quickly and doesn't crash with multiple users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish it had more extensions and features on some of its views (timeline, kanban). I sometimes struggle to customize and layout views like I want. I also wish it was easier to share with people who don't have Airtable access (without having to make public an interface)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to have a project plan that is easy to update, and it can make a roadmap/visual view without additional effort that stays current. Ability to have multiple users in the system. Keeps track of tasks and milestones. Can filter/sort as needed. Managing multiple projects in one place
Became the source of truth, and reduced duplicated work.
What do you like best about the product?
It's visibility controll for all interested pairties in the data is what drew me to this.
I stayed for the functionality.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the rollout of promised new features is a little slow, or ill timed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use the product across several departments, so it's helping us with ticketing, project management, inventory, calendar and scheduling and more. Airtable makes it beneficial because it's all connected!
Features Abound
What do you like best about the product?
AirTable's ability to covert data from various types of files is key when dealing with department systems. As a fairly new user, this ability has allowed for a smooth and easy onboarding process. Key data to support my role is now loaded and easily organized to drive an understanding of meaningful insights.
It's probably not as important, but the UI customization features related to appearance are more aesthetically pleasing than those I have worked with previously.

What do you dislike about the product?
As a new platform user, I find the variety of options for tables, views, and fields a bit overwhelming. It leaves me feeling like, "I don't know what I don't know."
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use AirTable in various ways within training and enablement that is geared to support a sales team. I am currently working to expand the use of Forms to better track and process requests, both external and internal, from our team. These are currently undocumented and are usually made via various communication platforms.
Having a centralized hub for this information will drive better insights into the state of our team's performance and identify opportunities to enable the sales team.

Most of our company's decisions depend on Airtable, in some way or another

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it would load faster, we have large tables, which might slow it down.
I wish there was a better way to do "VLOOKUP"s, we have a workaround which works beautifully.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Airtable to control supplier pricing, sales reporting, e-commerce price control.
Powerful tool with some limitations but overall satisfying
What do you like best about the product?
There are many automation possibilities and integrations available. You can easily import Excel documents, among other features, making it a versatile tool for different needs.
As a SaaS,Airtable is an intermediate level. It requires a bit more digging and learning compared to some competitors, such as Monday.com. However, once you get the hang of it, it becomes a powerful tool for managing data and workflows. Best to have one team member responsible for managing Airtable and explaining it to the wider team. For users who are not very tech-savvy, it's best to create interfaces that simplify their interaction with the tool.
The Client Success team is very helpful. Additionally, there are loads of resources available online, and Airtable has a strong community of users who ask questions and support each other. I use it everyday and I am pleased.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are a couple of downsides. Firstly, the fact that users have to sign in to see an interface can be inconvenient. Additionally, it's not possible to email an interface view directly, which would be a useful feature for many users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales Enablement and daily operations
Fast, Powerful and multidimensional
What do you like best about the product?
We work with structured, cellular style data that also has a qualitative component to it. Airtable has enabled us as a global team that is familiar with excel but wanting addon features to adapt quickly to using it as pipeline management tool and crm. We particularly like, linked bases and sheets, tags, 3rd party integtrations and accessibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some embedding features and rules around guest access make it difficult to use en mass within a large company when a small core team will be using it 99% of the time but desire input from masses a fraction of the time.
We are still waiting for the AI integration.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
maintaining a pipeline of deal flow for investment opportunites and and acting as a CRM for engagment with third parties
Very slick indeed
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is like a smoother more visual, more accessible version of excel. You can do so much with very little knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I felt the documentation could be a tad updated with reference to the API docs. I sometimes got a tad stuck.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing data more widely in a nutshell tbh. We can create links to dashboards that have only certain data that some firms should be able to see. This greatly helps get more data insight for ourselves and our clients.
