WSIWIG Software Development
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexiblity it gives me to design my own applications using their interface issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
The creator of the interface can be opening a pandora's box with the development. You need to link about it like you would any software development. You need to scope of the feature, build a roadmap to development and even make time to manage "bugs."
And hope and pray your team uses it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it primary to manage our "tickets" for requests for deliverables. The benefit is transparency across teammates on the status of our projects and any documenation related to the projects.

With Airtable, it's easy to generate and manipulate data.
What do you like best about the product?
I am not someone who would normally be sat within databases all day but with Airtable, it's easy to generate and manipulate data. Converting existing spreadsheets into proper relational databases and building views and interfances from them with the help of automations is a dream.
What do you dislike about the product?
Exporting options from Airtable are limited, I work in an indutry in love with PDF and the difficulties exporting these from Airtable make it quite limiting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is helping us define our information requirements on our construction projects, manage our tasks/weeks, and so much more!
A good collaborative experience
What do you like best about the product?
it's easy to use, has great grouping abilities and linking/integration options
What do you dislike about the product?
Grouping could be more flexible, Gantt views are not very intuitive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A better way than our internal wiki tool (confluence) to share meaningful tabular data
Great low code, no code platform to build any apps with automation
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to integrate different data sources, create various apps using interfaces, and build automation to get work done effectively and efficiently
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning curve is high, Interfaces design is still not that flexible to create the apps exactly the way you want to
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Create a process workflow application with minimal effort
Best Project Management Tool I've Used, Though Some Features Not Easy to Navigate
What do you like best about the product?
I love the customizations available in Airtable - we're able to hold an insane amount of information for our business, and easily track it using views to navigate over 50 category options. I love the integrations with email and Slack, so I can ensure I'm getting notifications of status changes and comments. I had previously used Monday.com at another job, and feel Airtable has a larger wealth of customization and options available...
What do you dislike about the product?
That being said, I do feel that the UI is so complex that it is more challenging to onboard. There are features like Integrations that I believe could help my team, but they're not user-friendly to implement from scratch. With our plan we do have included sessions with "Airtable experts," who are very nice and accommodating, but you need to come to them with very specific needs and parameters, rather than being able to talk through, suggest, and implement a solution that would work best. I also wish there were more training opportunities outside of more general webinars.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a huge volume of projects going at any given time, and AirTable is a vital solution to capture all the necessary information, communicate on questions, and track deliverables.
Easy to use, with some significant limitations
What do you like best about the product?
Nice no-code wrapper around a core SQL model, with use-cases tuned for small-business managers, and JavaScript scripting
What do you dislike about the product?
Very hard to do things that are just slightly outside the expected use cases.
For example, I had trouble creating a flow that managed the simultaneous creation of linked DB objects (e.g., add a new user in a schema that includes company and person objects linked by multi-multi role objects

Managing CRM for an accelerator and angel investment group.
A continuously improving, endlessly customizable tool to improve visibility and efficiencies
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is a very easy-to-learn tool that has allowed our corporate communications team to create a fully customized project management interface for task and project tracking, editorial calendars, a repository of team resources, a host for content analytics and so much more. While training our team on this new way to track projects was time-intensive, employees picked up on how to use the tool quickly and were excited to finally have integration across workflows that previously took place in disparate tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
While sign-up sessions to speak with Airtable engineers to solve problems (Ask an Expert sessions) has been extremely useful, the overall customer support function is a bit slow. Most queries are handled via email, as there is no customer support phone number, which can be a little frustrating for issues where a call would solve the issue more quickly. Nonetheless, the email support is helpful.

Airtable has primarily driven efficiencies and increased visibility on the work being done across our team. From an efficiency perspective, by simply tracking their day-to-day work in Airtable, our team now has automatically up-to-date editorial calendars, dashboards that convey workload and insight into things like what topics and individuals our communications are covering (and, by proxy, missing) in real time. From a visibility perspective, managers and senior leaders can seamlessly see the work being done down their hierarchy with easy-to-use dashboards and filters. These efficiencies and increased visibility allows our team to spend more time making strategic choices.
Great tool for staff to get stuff done
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is easy to use, flexible, and extremely powerful. Non-technical staff around my institution picked it up by watching online tutorials, and have been using it regularly to solve problems for themselves. Getting Airtable set up was pretty easy. There's a bit of a learning curve to the tool, but because staff can see how they can use it, they are eager to learn it and put it to good use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up Single Sign On has been a challenge, but definitely not a deal breaker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Staff here are able to build out tiny 'applications' without needing any support from our developers. This has meant that a lot of challenges that were not high-enough priority to warrant developer time to fix them are suddenly getting fixed at the point of need.
A Data Organization Platform with Nearly Limitless Customization Available
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Airtable allows me to build just about anything I can think of to organize my data, and that the data can take any shape and still be fit into a model that was built specifically for it. It's not just a spreadsheet replacement, or a task tracking tool, but rather I can make it into nearly anything I can think of. It's the kind of tool that you can easily use daily, both personally and professionaly, and then find yourself seeking out new things that you want to track within Airtable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is steep, though the recent introduction of Airtable Academy might help new users acclimate a bit better. For more advanced features, such as intricate connections between tables in a base or complex automations, the complexity spikes and it's often not straightforward how to get where you're trying to go, even as an established power user of the platform. Once you get there, you're good to go, but it's the tedium of building those things that drags the feel down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Of the many different things my company has started using Airtable for, our first use-case during implementation was to build a robust system for tracking a wealth of different connected pieces of information in a way that no out of the box solution out there could provide. We had a unique need and every vendor we looked at would be able to solve for half or less of what we needed, and it was always different pieces of the puzzle, so we couldn't get anything that would check all our boxes. Instead we looked at Airtable and took the time to build exactly what was required to meet the business need. Now we also own the data structure entirely, which means that if something isn't working how we want, or we think of something new we'd like included, we can do that without having to wait around for a platform to implement a feature request. Having that control has been incredibly powerful in being able to get things done on a shorter timeline than if we were reliant on another company's roadmap schedule.
Favorite automation platform I have tried.
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the user experience of Airtable. It makes data and automation super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my opinion, the biggest downside to Airtable is the limited formatting capabilities. I also wish there were more automation triggers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has automated so many of our processes and has improved communication in and outside of our team.
