What do you like best about the product?
Functionality, flexibility, and constant development
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of upfront support and communication. If you are willing to invest the time in learning the system on your own through their learning modules and help center then you will be fine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a very niche workflow and process for tracking information and we are able to mold airtable into exactly what we need.

Easy Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like that AirTable lets our team work simultaneously on our project. It's also quite flexible and adaptable. Our programming team and operations team can function together and accomplish things simultaneously.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing yet. We're still implementing full usage, so something could arise. But at present, we have no complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to work simultaneously on or film database from various locations really make our jobs significantly easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a team to be able to work together in the same space. AirTable is it.
Airtable allows creative collaboration for organizing my events!
What do you like best about the product?
Team Collaboration, Phone app functionality, Non-intimidating appearance, Share-able views, Subscription links for calendar views, History Snapshots, Undo function, Customer Service
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could edit form views in phone app, and I would like to see more ease of use in the new Page Designer block (it looks lovely but I find it slow to edit and create.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used Airtable to seamlessly evaluate 150 showcase applicants and organize them into 30 time-slots (with one collaborator in NYC, one in Nashville, and another on tour in Europe!) It was fantastic to be able to message each-other on any specific record. I love the new Page Designer block that allows me to create contracts and day sheets. I have created different personnel-specific calendars for my events and shared those filtered calendars with each person via iCal/Google calendars. This feature is a life-saver for keeping folks on the same page.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
To my knowledge there is no better way to organize your data in related tabs with such a high level of phone functionality. For smaller files/groups it is often free but watch out for the pricing when you include lots of users/data. Even in those cases it's priced competitively for the amount of functionality and support offered. In describing it to others (who usually rely on the separate worlds of their Google docs/sheets/calendar) I first point out that Airtable is able to connect spreadsheet records with calendar dates and dynamically-filled PDF docs. And it's pretty and fun to use!
Airtable has allowed distributing key information to team members quickly, paperless and saved time.
What do you like best about the product?
Having the ability to embed pdf files AND link records. Additionally, the ability to switch between grid and calendar view has been very helpful
What do you dislike about the product?
There are two areas i see that would improve our users. 1) the calendar view features are not yet available to iOS (our android uses love it). 2) it would be helpful to have additional advanced calendar features to include repeating and recurring dates (like in Outlook) to be controlled in a single record.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our office manages the after-hours use of facilities (8 sites) for a school district. Airtable gives us ability to maintain a calendar of facility uses, schedule employees, pull up pdf of actual contract, and track insurance expiration. This has allowed us to consolidate paperwork, quickly communicating and accessing documents in the filed, and become more efficient in using available technology.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Like any spreadsheet or database, plan your fields and record linking in order to take full advantage of the spreadsheet and database features Airtable has.
Easy to use and convenient
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to display information in different views is by far one of the best features of Airtable and has greatly improved overall readability and interaction. What's also great are the endless options for fields and filters, allowing you to do virtually anything with your data. A big thanks from the NSE team!
What do you dislike about the product?
Although Airtable offers quite a lot for creating and organizing information, there's always room for improvement. For instance, it would be helpful if we could change the data of automated fields or formulas for specific records if needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficiency - Airtable allows us to have a space that can bring together various types of data; everything can become more centralized on here.

After watching the tutorials, everything else will fall into place as you continue using Airtable. Explore all the features!
Air Table is great for our Small NonProfit Org Program!
What do you like best about the product?
We love how easy Air Table is to use & set up, how the tables can be linked and embedded/shared, it looks easy enough like Google Sheets but much more dynamic and powerful. It is also great for team collaboration, which is vital for our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish you could link the primary column to other tables, however with formulas we were able to resolve this manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using AirTable to keep a comprehensive database of our teen program - our teens, their applications, mentors, their biodata, etc. We were unable to do this in an affordable way until we found AirTable. Also being able to link via Zapier is a huge plus, since we can feed our application forms from our website directly into Air Table bases.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitely recommend Air Table if it is appropriate to your needs - it is affordable, easy to set up, and dynamic for both organizations and individuals.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to set assignments & reminders to specific tasks and people.

Sometimes updating and managing feels a little tedious.

As a small nonprofit with remote employees, Airtable helps us coordinate and manage diverse projects from admin, to creative, and production

Use it & you will love it!
Great and easy tool for data and project management
What do you like best about the product?
We switched to Airtable from using excel sheet as we are a global membership organization with team members located in different countries. It really helped us to share data on our projects and improve our workflow. It is really easy to use, secure and we can incorporate a lot of different lists into one base.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes some time to master all different options and features, but otherwise it is a great tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can work simultaneously with another person without a problem. We could easily connect through automations to other programs we use (Typeform, Mailchimp).
A Scaleable Course Management Solution
What do you like best about the product?
The best aspects of this software are its ability to manipulate plan data into visually compelling and easily decipherable presentations to stakeholders. In addition, the database like nature of the software really helps me to connect all the differing sources of information to easily trace historical records.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish that there were customizable cell types that would track the completion of tasks represented. Yes, there is checkbox feature. However, when tracking project tasks using Airtable, not all tasks are the same for any given project. Having a customizable field type that could allow for the insertion of customizable task lists would be useful. Essentially a checklist.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, I'm using the software to manage the migration, course design, and revision process of online courses. This is proving to be a useful tool for simplifying this complex task.
Lots of flexibility for team collaboration and project tracking
What do you like best about the product?
Our team is fairly new to Airtable, but so far we have been utilizing the forms integration as an easy way to easily funnel information into different tables and views. We really like the different view options as we all have different ways in which we like to visualize data, so this offers something for everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've run into some limitations with things like the Charts Block, where we can't quite visualize the data in a format that we're 100% happy with. Although we've been using forms quite a bit, it is still a very basic form that doesn't allow for things like skip logic, and the single or multi-select answer choices will cut off after a certain text length, meaning the person filling out the form can't read the entire option. This has been a point of some frustration for us, but we've been able to find ways to work around those issues. It would be fantastic to see a more robust forms option in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have streamlined the input of information by using forms, which has really helped us access data in a more simple and dynamic way than just exporting a Qualtrics survey into Excel, for instance. We're able to collaborate better as a team, and we are continuing to find new ways that Airtable could help us simplify processes in the future.
