Innovative Learning Review
What do you like best about the product?
Team Collaboration and ability to share out results to stakeholders. Specifically, we can receive data, create reports and share results with affected users. Also, we like the ability to share out reports in many formats.
What do you dislike about the product?
No major dislikes at this point in our evaluation. It would be nice to turn off the index numbers of sheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We take voluminous data from various databases and collate into shareable links. Specifically, we take downloaded CSV files and manipulate them into reports that we share with stakeholders.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Need a mechanism for billing less than 50 users.

Remote Collaboration Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
It has been great to be able to collaborate smoothly and intuitively with colleagues around a similar data set.
What do you dislike about the product?
The view settings are a little bit difficult to navigate, but it is likely the size of my screen that is causing the annoyance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using this for staff management, and org charting. We will likely use it of operational data management and collaboration as well.
A powerful and easy to use system for keeping all of our information organized!
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to understand spreadsheet interface and simple linking of records between tables.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love to have an auto time stamp when records are updated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’m in charge of membership for a non-profit, summer camp staff alumni association. Before Airtable, we were maintaining a google sheet with 3,500+ names / contact info.

Total Game Changer
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Airtable is the functionality. It has the power of excel, google drive, Microsoft, but its functionality is superior to all of these.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe that this program requires a learning curve for those who are not familiar with it...this takes time if you are building from the ground up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using this program as a Case Management system for our small nonprofit. In the future, we will track the data of young people from the journey from homelessness to being housed in safe and secure housing.
Incredible tool for collaboration and transparency
What do you like best about the product?
Really easy to format according to your organization's or your team's needs. I really like the layout and the user friendliness. Keeps everything organized in one place for easy access.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have anything that I dislike. Really easy to use and share amongst team members. Keeps everyone organized and on the same page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for projects and keeping track of our progress with each project. We have all collateral synced with each line-item and its a great resource to keep everything organized and have a central location to access all relevant information.
Airtable - Wonderful collaboration tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Picture storage is amazing! Great collaboration tool. There is an awesome Airtable to GSheets app that auto-dumps your data into GSheets every hour.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not enough permission levels. Should be able to set permissions on tabs within a base as opposed to the permissions at the base level. No internal reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Field validation. Although copy and pasting into a lookup field allows users to add additional options to a dropdown, which is not ideal. Cuts out the middleman--we no longer have to send data reports to someone to enter into a Google sheet. Field staff now enters data directly into Airtable.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend checking to see how familiar your staff is with using grid based spreadsheet programs like Excel or Google Sheets before moving over to Airtable. We had quite a few staff members who were not as technically capable as we thought they were and thus required extra training before they were ready to use the tool in the field.
Great Tool For Non-Profit Data Management
What do you like best about the product?
Love the multiple functions of AirTable. Great tool for tracking volunteer hours, student registration, and collaboration with consultants and team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes time on the front end to figure out all the functions of Airtable, but the videos are super helpful and the helpdesk is very responsive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Potential Gamechanger
What do you like best about the product?
We love the different views that you can use to see your data. This type of flexibility is great. It helps change the way you are able to think about your data and visually looks very impressive.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some things it can't do that just don't make sense, like linking across bases. Form data should be able to go to multiple locations. I think there is too much of a reliance on Zapier to fix shortcomings of the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking for events. Keeping a database for applicants. Creating a digital library for locations of all of our documents.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You will have to change the way you think about your data. This is not Excel so it does take time to get used to if you are still thinking in those terms.

What do you like best about the product?
Useful and aesthetically pleasing. I’ve created multiple forms using AT. I love how many field options I have, it’s look and easy to use quality. Love how much you’re able to manipulate the fields and data + how much easier to group and read all of it is.
What do you dislike about the product?
I want to unlock so many of the features but they are on the paid version, (a lot of the company is still using Google Drive.)
It’s still new, so a lot of the other apps have yet to build integrations; would like note of those- especially with Asana.
Other functions with the app would be cool, but I’m assuming that’s the paid version.

Keeping track of customer requests, project road maps/ deadlines, orders, high level views on projects/ trends in the company

Great to use for a database, to track projects and get collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can see and manipulate the data in multiple formats. It is great that we can get data directly into our database through forms without giving volunteers access to the sensitive data.
It is compatible with zapier which allows us to automate a lot of things in addition to the ones available through airtable.

So far we have not found a way to indicate a certain number of slots for a shift.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it to track volunteer projects, shifts at an event, and to replace our CRM.
