Airtable is a GAMECHANGER
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that you can look at other templates of what people have created. It helps you get a spark of imagination for when you create your own table. I love all of the features that are available and that I don't have to start from scratch in order to switch views like in Asana.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit confusing at first. The walkthroughs help somewhat. Since I would use it for clients that did have huge teams then some of the things in the walkthroughs were irrelevant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is so versatile. I used to use google sheets for everything but then some of my clients didn't have google so by using airtable I have been able to use it with all of my clients. All of my clients love the customization options. They are a bit intimidated at first but after I show them how magical it can be they end up loving it!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out and then try it out again. It can be confusing at first but once you get the hang it, it is amazing!

User Friendly, Clean, Modern
What do you like best about the product?
I like the file attachment feature the best. It really maximizes your ability to put all information in one localized spot for all contributors to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
They do not have customizable templates, so I recommend you browse them to see which best fits your needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most effective aspect of Airtable is for our ideas and brainstorming. It has allowed a database for a thinking tank and even helped us think through which to prioritize and further develop. Getting our priorities straight with a real time update has allowed us all to work remote and still collaborate.

I would explore and trial other project management software to see what best fits your needs

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable's ability to look at data in numerous different views is its strongest feature. Whether you like kanabans, spreadsheets, or timelines- Airtable's got you covered.
What do you dislike about the product?
If everyone adopts a new project management software willingly - you have a miracle. The biggest issue with Airtable, as is with any PM software, is that the barrier to entry is sometimes steep. People don't want to leave their emails, spreadsheets, and notes and move to a new platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to organize when/where/how often I was booking different venue spaces. I also was able to set up an entire workbook schedule for many projects.

It's ease of use and the fact that it can be used as a spreadsheet or as a database with a very easy to navigate API.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much that we dislike. It's been adopted by most people on our team. If I had to find one flaw it would be in how difficult or impossible it is to compare and perform functions on different records in different bases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for a broad range of problems from marketing calendars to a simple updateable database for an internal Slack chatbot.
Airtable is an amazing, customizable tool that can meet many different needs
What do you like best about the product?
I love how robust and customizable it is. It can seem a little daunting to set up at first but it can do practically anything. I use it for mileage tracking, digital asset management, recipes, tracking wines I like, casting (for video production), listing places I want to travel, equipment tracking, and so much more!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't love that you can't have free guests on your paid Airtable bases. I only really need to share one base with one person and they'll rarely need to access it so I don't really want to pay $240/year for them to do so.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CRM, Project Management, Digital Asset Management, Mileage tracking, Big Picture financial tracking (ie making sure hours stay within project budget, etc), planning of just about anything, contacts database, etc

Airtable - quick tables for custom business needs
What do you like best about the product?
It's great having a central place to develop a quick, and highly customized CRM and planning database. I can access my tables anywhere from different platforms, and change them as my needs change. I love the different views, and I'm trying to figure out blocks, because they look awesome. That said, I haven't figured blocks out yet.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm still figuring out some of the features, and I'm finding it a bit slow. I wish more of the features were available for less than $240/year.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CRM, scheduling, and planning.

What do you like best about the product?
I use AirTable to include all the atributes of my clients SKUs. There are three things I like the most. The first one is that you can predeterminate what type of information each column will be. Because some atributes repeat in some cases, the list option was great to keep the format. The second thing I liked was that you can co-work and share a table for all your team to work on it. The last, but not least, is that has an integration whith slack. I could track if someone else made changes and who was working on the project
What do you dislike about the product?
I used sometimes the option of searching duplicates, however this functionality was a little hidden and when I forgot where it was, I had to spent some time looking for it again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a place to manage my SKUs atributes. Among the benefits, the co-work functionality and also that I could use it in my Bi solution
