Love it!
What do you like best about the product?
Useful and aesthetically pleasing. I’ve created multiple forms using AT. I love how many field options I have, it’s look and easy to use quality. Love how much you’re able to manipulate the fields and data + how much easier to group and read all of it is.
What do you dislike about the product?
I want to unlock so many of the features but they are on the paid version, (a lot of the company is still using Google Drive.)
It’s still new, so a lot of the other apps have yet to build integrations; would like note of those- especially with Asana.
Other functions with the app would be cool, but I’m assuming that’s the paid version.

Great to use for a database, to track projects and get collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can see and manipulate the data in multiple formats. It is great that we can get data directly into our database through forms without giving volunteers access to the sensitive data.
It is compatible with zapier which allows us to automate a lot of things in addition to the ones available through airtable.

What do you dislike about the product?
So far we have not found a way to indicate a certain number of slots for a shift.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it to track volunteer projects, shifts at an event, and to replace our CRM.
Dynamic and Intuitive with Endless Uses
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Airtable for at least the past 9 years for many different professional and personal applications, including project management, inventory management, contact management, and as a content management service. I love the versatility and collaborative features, especially the ability to create different views of a table with their own websites that you can tailor to the needs of your audience. Also, they're always adding great new features. It has been by far my favorite and most recommended web application for some time now.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm hoping they enable two-way sync between separate bases soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking projects and tasks in a simple and intuitive way that non-savvy users can learn quickly. The comments feature makes it possible to get quick status updates from team members without having to give them edit access.
Airtable is perfectly suited for building a custom CMS. This has become my primary usage of the platform, along with project management.

Watch all the demo videos and start with a few different templates to get a sense of all of the different ways it can be used.
Beautiful product, but potentially pricy
What do you like best about the product?
I love the look of Airtable. I'm a sucker for color coordination and visual organization, and thats what this does best. The blocks are great and versatile. If there's something you want to make, track, organize, etc, you'll probably find what you want.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only real downside to this is the price. For me, the block features are the most enticing parts of this and you have to get PRO for that. Pro isnt too expensive on its own, but if you want to add collaborators the price quickly goes up. Luckily I'm using this for a non profit, so we get a very generous discount and we can make one user work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're maintaining a board and committee member roster and creating an org chart. Beyond that, I can see using this for project/event tracking as well. As a non profit, we plan and host several fundraisers every year, which I see this being a great tool for such an undertaking.
Excellent software for our needs
What do you like best about the product?
Record linking & grouping functions make it a super user friendly platform. Free version also offers many great features so it's not always necessary to switch to premium.
What do you dislike about the product?
No individual cell functions, features like color-coding are premium
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Airtable as an inventory database for biotech research, and it's been instrumental in boosting efficiency
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out with a free week premium trial, and you can upload existing csv files to see if it works better for your needs.
Perfect for Organizing a Searchable, Visual Database
What do you like best about the product?
I love the layers of customizability and functionality -- you only use what you need but there's always room to grow. I'm also a huge fan of the "Gallery View", as it makes managing spreadsheets feel *nothing* like managing spreadsheets. The team collaboration options make it extremely easy to invite other team members to contribute.
What do you dislike about the product?
For my purposes, records move between tables often. It would be extremely valuable to be able to easily move a record from one table to another, or easily duplicate records. As of now it's possible, but a bit tedious. I also wish that Pro Plans allowed you to break up your Bases into sections. If you have unlimited Bases available, why force each Workspace to purchase separate plans? It seems like an easy fix to provide an additional and important layer of organization to Bases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I expect I'll be using Airtable for many tasks moving forward, but initially I needed a simple, clean, attractive system to digitize my nonprofit's rolodex -- essentially a fancy, information-rich and highly searchable address book -- including established contacts, potential contacts, organizations, partners, and sponsors. I spent several days researching and trying out different tools available, but all of the options were some combination of very expensive, clunky, or way more complicated than I needed. Airtable lets you build out a system that has exactly the fields that are useful to you with great search options. Plus the "Gallery View" makes for a beautiful way to browse our contacts (and remember faces!).
Finally!
What do you like best about the product?
I can use airtable for business and personal. I can manage all of my projects in one place. I also LOVE the form. I have yet to use all of the features and I am still blown away by this software.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far there is nothing I dislike about airtable. It is so easy to use!

What do you dislike about the product?
We’ve found nothing that we truly dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We’re using Airtable as a product backlog and as a translation management tool. Since we’re using it, it’s been a lot easier to plan the sprint and the communication between differents teams has improved.

Incredible Database and Project Management Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Airtable looks like a spreadsheet but functions like a database. The interface is very intuitive. There are features for attaching resources. Airtable is perfect for team collaboration. We can all add information to a project and all relevant relationships are updated. The blocks are cool also!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is really nothing I dislike about Airtable. It serves the needs of my organization perfectly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are tracking class enrollment and customer relations. We are also using Airtable to track team progress and contributions to class development projects. We have realized improved simplicity in accessing and understanding our data and project status.
