Very dynamic and user friendly!
What do you like best about the product?
We like that it provides team collaboration. The input of our members will fill our database through a form. It makes secure and user-friendly access to the information through the gallery. We embedded it on our webpage, and it has a very professional look. All our team is highly satisfied with the results.
What do you dislike about the product?
We would like to be able to customize more the format of our form.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a unique database where all the members can input data through the form without compromising the information.

From MVP to Final Solution, it gets the job done!
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Airtable is that even with their free tier one can build a highly organized and effective back-end for any type of business and scenario. The value is evident as soon as you create your first table.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even in the Pro plan the "Airtable" branding appears on the emails that go out to people when you choose the "Send To" record.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have introduced Airtable to 3 different clients and we were able to plan product roadmaps, scrum, create a back-office CMS and sign up forms that allow us to save info and details into the Airtable.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There's a slight learning curve. Watch the videos they offer and play around with the templates.
User-friendly way to make databases
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is really geared towards users, and limitations that normally would apply to databases aren't as restrictive on Airtable. The group function and different views are especially useful in minimizing the number of tables needed to store information since all the data can be put into just one main table and views be customized for various reports. Airtable's versatility takes out the time that would've otherwise be spent trying to create a functional and logical database.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's no data validations yet, and while the LookUp function is useful it's also limited to some extent. There are some functions like barcode scanner that only works on mobile, and mobile view still has some limitations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Airtable to keep track of various miscellaneous things; since we don't have MS Access pretty much every thing we haven't used an app to keep track of (R&D assets, job referrals etc.) I use Airtable for.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Still need to understand some basic database principles in order to use it effectively (especially relationships)
Makes compiling and presenting data user-friendly and interesting!
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable offers great functionality, of which being able to customise fields to even upload attachments and pictures a really helpful feature. It compacts all the features I need in one tidy package! Integration with google calendar, via Zapier, has been a boon too.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system of billable users per workspace upon upgrade took a while to figure out. But it's a minor hurdle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team collaboration in sharing data as well as having forms, galleries and blocks that could share selected data with external parties.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it - it has a fun and user-friendly interface!
Useful tool for event and project management
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable allows for smooth collaborations, as well as clean and effective project tracking. Our team enjoys the options for personalization available within the tool and the ability to share with others, regardless of access level.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be better to be able to have folders and more opportunities to streamline the appearances or organize bases within workspaces.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed an intuitive, shareable tool for project management. Airtable has been a good option due to its flexibility.
Easiest data relation and visualization on the market, for the non-technical
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to quickly visualize data in a meaningful way without fiddling for hours in excel or having a good amount of experience with software like Tableau or the like. It's also incredibly easy to organize data in a way that is cohesive and sensible without being too overwhelming.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can go too crazy. If this is your first time working in a simple relational database, the moment that it clicks, you can't help but think that literally every bit of data you have can relate to another in some needlessly complicated way. It's very, very easy to fall down the rabbit hole.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use airtable for production scheduling, asset management, and planning. We also use it to expose research data to other teams in our organization so that it's clear why my team is making the decisions that we're making.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Understand that it's important to manage the scope of your project. Don't go too crazy relating tables and don't spend too much time creating blocks. If it isn't simple, you probably shouldn't be doing it.
Airtable helps our inventory management
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable helps our inventory management and product purchases. We appreciate being able to add filters and customize our forms according to our needs
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few fields that seem almost too literal. We use Airtable to track our purchases and when we need to add a new purchase, we have to right click on a row to add a row above it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We spent a lot of time trying to configure Zoho to work as an inventory and purchase management database before we settled on Airtable. The cloud based data transfer was efficient and adding new data is quick and easy. We now have a clean way to view our data and save a lot of time when we have to add new data. r
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We worked with Airtable support to make the transition easier. It saved a lot of time being able to rely on their team instead of trying to figure it out on our own.
Great software that could be used for a variety of purposes
What do you like best about the product?
AirTable is extremely versatile-- it truly can be used for a variety of purposes, and its integrations to other applications are great. Be it a hiring process for a small business or a company-wide survey, Airtable has the tools to make this process easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the learning curve is a little steep, and more resources should be provided for new users. However, once you get the hang of things, Airtable becomes a breeze to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used Airtable for our hiring process, which allowed us to keep track of everything-- resumes, contact info, interviews, interview scores, interviewer notes, in one document. This made is extremely easy for the entire department to collaborate.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Versatile product for a variety of uses. I would definitely recommend it and set up is fairly easy, so everyone should give this product a try to see if its right for them.
Best Project Management Tool I've Used
What do you like best about the product?
This isn't just a project management tool, it is also a fantastic data base to keep all the files when managing a project. It is very easy to set up the projects as long as you know how you want the project to flow. That might take a little time, but doing the work on the front end makes managing the project later a breeze.
Their customer service has also been very attentive when questions arose.
Many projects can be done on their free version, but the paid version opens up a lot of automations that can be very useful. You can even sent out forms or surveys for data capture and there are plenty of Zapier integrations between AirTable and other business programs.
It is very easy to communicate within a project with your team by @mentioning them. You can see all the communications between the collaborators in a stream within each project. It is very helpful to keep the communications in one place.

What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing isn't totally clear when you are giving access to collaborators. So keep an eye out and make sure you only grant the highest level of access a person will need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a way to keep track of all our projects and know who was responsible for each component. We've used other project management tools, but this one was the only one that met all our needs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You can easily move a workspace from a list view to a kanban view and back again without loosing any data or insights.
Global Team Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Working across two continents (US and Africa), Airtable has simplified our team's workflow. Trying to manage our project via email had become burdensome and was truly untenable in terms of reviewing and editing draft documents. This has allowed our team the ability to complete tasks more quickly and avoid the "lost in email" problem that is so common in team projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the type of non-profit work we are doing, I would have preferred to save a bit of money by upgrading to the Plus plan (with educational discount), but we decided to pay the additional cost for the Pro plan. Ultimately, I am glad we did, but in the realm of global education, it is important to manage costs. The Pro plan's features certainly are powerful and worth the additional expense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improved time management!!! All team members are accountable and engaged.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just jump right in and try it. You will be amazed at the ease of use. Watch the tutorials--they are great.
