A user-friendly data management application with strong collaborative tools
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable makes data management as easy as using a spreadsheet. I like not having to involved many technical process or code when using Airtable. The functionality is generally straightforward and intuitive. We can leverage multiple types of data for more detailed processing and analysis. One of the strongest points of Airtable is its ability for us to collaborate in real time. Several people can makes updates to data with a log of the changes stored online. Even though I don't use many integrations at the moment, it's great that Airtable has to capability to work with many third-party applications. Airtable also has a wide selection of templates that allow us to start projects more easily or at least give us a solid roadmap on how to structure our data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing can get quite high when you sign up many users. Applying permissions in certain databases can be tricky, especially if you need to grant part of the information to certain groups and restrict it for others. Overall, Airtable is easy to use after you spend some time working with different databases, but I don't think it's really something that you can get going quickly with just basic spreadsheet knowledge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable has a been a solid solution for organizing inventories and client data. It helps us to manage our databases in a more user-friendly way. Though it can take some time to get used to the system, it doesn't take nearly as long as more traditional database systems. We've basically used it as a CRM platform and to automate emails and manage contacts and payments. Airtable is a really strong resource for marketing data analysis, financial planning and overall business management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think companies can be well-served in many aspects of business by using Airtable. You can start with a lower cost plan to get used to the system and upgrade later according to your needs. If you're currently dealing with lots of data managed by multiple people through traditional spreadsheets, Airtable can be a valuable solution for streamlining your work flow. It can serve as a user-friendly hub for all your data, whether it's sales records, customer information or available stock.
Great, fully featured

Airtable can check a lot of boxes and in doing so minimize jumping between many different software solutions.

There are some feature shortcomings that can be frustrating, as they limit Airtable's ability to truly REPLACE many competitors
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization, CRM, scheduling, content management
Nice tool to have everything together
What do you like best about the product?
I like the different views you can create with airtable. My favorite is still grid but sometimes the calendar comes in handy when planning for deadlines.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a while to get used to the interface. I honestly had to watch some tutorials since it was not intuitive to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our whole team works with it and we can tag people for certain tasks. It is also very presentable to clients for showing them how far their project is along.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Watch the tutorials first. I am sure the tool can help you with your project management.
Easy to use project tracker / CRM that is customizable by company
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that Airtable is a clean slate when it is first logged on to and then your able to change it depending on the information you are collected
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that if too many people are trying to make changed on the same page at the same time then some of the changes won't work
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to get it so that accounting, sales and the client management team can all work in Airtable so that we can keep our information organized. We realized that in doing all of this we weren't keeping a clean record of all our projects and this pushed us to update and make sure that doesn't happen again.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think that there needs to be a way that more people can work online on the same page but also insure that all changes are being captured
A powerful tool for recovering spreadsheet addicts
What do you like best about the product?
For those of us who live and breathe Excel, Airtable is a great tool. It's versatile, easy to use, and makes collaborating on just about anything a snap. I love that you can have multiple bases, all easily customized, to track everything from prospects to client assets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Airtable is so powerful it can be too confusing. There are multiple ways of linking entries and setting up bases so sometimes my bases end up being overly complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Airtable to track client leads, manage a publication calendar, and stay on top of client assets. The most powerful way I use it is to track all prior blog entries and tags and create a library of my own assets.
