What do you like best about the product?
At my company, we use Airtable daily and this is what I've noticed...

Versatile - Combines spreadsheet simplicity with database power.

Customization - Allows for tailored views, linked records, and diverse field types.

Collaboration - Enables real-time collaboration for teams, enhancing communication.

Data Management - Can handle various projects effectively, from project management to production management.

Setting up automation / integration with our software has been essential to how we organize our workflows behind the scenes. This approach has significantly reduced the need for manual status updates, as changes are reflected live in Airtable.
What do you dislike about the product?
HUGE Learning Curve - Initial setup/implementation and navigation is overwhelming for new users, even tech-savvy ones.

Complexity - Advanced features which make Airtable worthwhile require a significant time investment to master & set up.

Intuitiveness - Customizing the tool to specific needs feels like a heavy lift.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is solving the challenge of disorganized project management and minimizing repetitive maintenance tasks. By capturing data directly from our software, it allows us to effectively manage and manipulate that information—something we’re unable to do within the software itself. This streamlined process enhances our efficiency and allows us to focus on higher-priority tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
The customization options, integrations, and automations are some of Airtable's strongest features.
What do you dislike about the product?
No major downsides in my experience so far, however I could see the many different options to view, sort, or setup data and workspaces taking a long time to optimize for users that are less familiar with Airtable's capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing data and automating notifications.

Great Solution for Custom Needs

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable has been incredibly customizable in providing a CRM solution that has extended to calendar management, inventory, HR, marketing, budgeting and more. It integrates with Zapier for amazing customizations. Our operation team uses it as our go to platform for day to day work. Support is great when we need help! We were able to start with one segment and slowly expand that implementation to connect all of our processes over time.
What do you dislike about the product?
You need someone interested in building and supporting the platform, since it is DIY. I have not found a good solution for handling duplicate records.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation and scaling for an event based industry. Making connections between marketing/programming/staff/and rebookings.

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable has become an integral part of my job. My team uses it to improve operational workflows and administrative processes at our school. I like that we have control over how it functions and some control over how our tools look. We are able to design it to work optimally for our colleagues (and for us). With the implementation of Airtable interfaces, our tools took on a whole new life. I also appreciate the constant improvements to Airtable (believe me, we notice!).
What do you dislike about the product?
As a creative person working at a creative institution, design and appearance matter. While there are a few customizations for appearance (color, interface design, elements, etc.), I often wish I had more. Airtable falls short, just slightly, in terms of appearance customization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Airtable, my team has greatly improved operational workflows, making them more efficient overall and reducing staff workload. Automations have reduced back and forth emails, and interfaces have allowed us to design tracking systems for administrative processes. The work our team does is recognized and appreciated across the institution.

The Joys of Building in Airtable

What do you like best about the product?
Coming from a background working with relational databases in Oracle and SqlServer, I really enjoy working with the ease of creating a fully functioning relational database without having to write code. The UI and UX of Airtable make it easy to create, update, improve, and edit all of my data needs. The robust data layer is improved even more through interfaces, where I can create custom interactions with certain pieces of data. I have used Airtable to implement a GTD framework for project management and it has been a joy to create and use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The most difficulty I've had working with Airtable concerns its implementation of the time and date field and especially the timezones, which doesn't work intuitively. Having to write custom code to manipulate timezones seems unnecessary and is more difficult than it needs to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable solves our knowledge management system (in conjunction with Google Drive), program data, and a project/task management system needs. It benefits us by keeping track of what our priorities are as we move forward in building communities.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can create just about any kind of process that I want to with Airtable. It's a flexible, versatile, and robust system! It also has very robust features and is extremely customizable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Airtable can be a little complicated to learn, but once you know what you're doing you can create just about anything you need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We primarily use Airtable to streamline our hiring process. They complete the application (Airtable form), then the automations help sort them into whatever category they fall into, adds them to the team list if we do choose to hire, sends emails notifying them of the progress along the way, and allows us to schedule meetings with the candidates. It has made the entire process streamlined and seamless, removing all the manual labor previously involved. It's HUGE time-saver!

What do you like best about the product?
As someone with ADHD who is math-averse, Airtable is like a user-friendly Excel/Sheets. It has so many capabilities, options, and automations, yet somehow isn't overwhelming. I use it to organize and seamlessly mange my household, personal life, finances, work, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish that there was a more affordable tier or sales on annual pricings

Airtable helps me stay on top of projects, keep my books balanced, and allows me to keep living, shared databases

Great Project Management Tool and More

What do you like best about the product?
I love that it has practical uses while also having a friendly UI/UX. It is important to me that I have customization options when operating in systems so Airtable does a great job of this. In addition to that, one of my favorite features is the Automations + Integrations. Nowadays, I use so many different applications in my line of work and it's super helpful to be able to integrate them together in one space. One of my favorite things has been the ability to have Slack messages sent to me when someone fills out a form I created. I do use this on a daily basis so it's been easy to implement this into my routine.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new forms feature has been disrupting one of my automations and I really can't tell why? I have been meaning to get with customer support to see how they help me figure this out. Otherwise, I have no complaints!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly, it's been helping me learn how to manage my projects efficiently and organize my assignments into one space. It has made me feel more productive and in control of my day to day.

What do you like best about the product?
There are many areas of AT that are worth praise. I love that it is versatile and adaptable. It has been a wonderful adventure creating customizations, automations, and creating several databases that organize information and assets.

I also appreciate that there is both an internal and external use for this system: our clients contact us easily and are looped into our workflow with reminders, updates, and forms.

The company is also very good at quarterly trainings, where users are able to learn about new release updates, improved features, and areas of the software that has changed or been eliminated.
What do you dislike about the product?
AT is a great system-- hands down. I have taken it with me across two job transitions as well as implementing it into my own personal life as well. That said, I am biased-- meaning that I have spent a lot of time learning it and its framework. While AT is very user friendly, there can he a higher learning curve for people wanting to master more of its advanced settings , features, and capabilities.

Alerting of changes to the hiring, contracting, invoicing pipelines
