#1 CRM By Far
What do you like best about the product?
In terms of price-quality nothing even comes close! Incredibly UI/UX. Super friendly. Furthermore, I'd say that compared to most other management tools out there in the market, the client attention of Airtable is unmatched.
What do you dislike about the product?
Make data transfers from other softwares easier in order to adopt Airtable faster
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is our primary CRM tool. We also use it for project and task management within the team. Also great for roadmapping and future plan projections.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very intuitive. Great user interface and user experience. No complaints on the product.
Like the flexibility
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility of the different workspaces and how you can customize it to the different projects that you are trying to view. The different colors and ease of customization that they have is great. You can just about edit anything in there. It's very user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
that this does not send out email reminders out of the box - you need to use a 3rd party software to do it. Others that i have used, have this automatically scheduled and if i do not log in every day, sometimes i can be forgetting about a task that is part of a project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
this is great where large projects where multiple people are involved, but also for individual projects where there are many moving parts. I even have one just to track the little projects that i need to do on a weekly basis vs. having them on pieces of paper - save a tree!
Good Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The excel style grid format is what sets this product apart from other project management tools that I've used in the past, such as Asana. It gives me the flexibility to provide myself more details in a interface that I'm already familiar with and used to.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't like about this platform is that, it does sometimes seem to lag. For example, I have a column called "completed", which i use a check mark. When i check the box, it kind of stays in limbo on my existing table, with it hovering over other rows, until I either refresh the page or click onto another row a couple times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping on track in all the different projects that I'm spearheading, which helps me prioritize my time accordingly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try their free version first to get a good idea if it fits your project management style
I stay on track with deadlines and tasks with Airtable
What do you like best about the product?
The visual design of Airtable has good spacing so that different windows and tabs are easy to digest. I like being able to move grid elements around by dragging and dropping them into place. No matter which template we use, we are usually allowed to enter all the critical data for tasks so that we can find what we need quickly and not have to click further for more information. There are tons of different templates that we can use for various fields, projects and products.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it isn't that easy to use at the beginning. Some of our colleagues weren't able to add or edit information properly and that kind of threw off the scheduling and timelines of others. I found it hard to customize grid layouts and certain structural elements that would make the templates fit better with the activities we're working on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have mostly had success with using Airtable. When we work without Airtable, there is often more miscommunication or the need to send messages or make calls back and forth. I think that we were more likely to have deadlines that we wouldn't necessarily have before since projects tasks have the deadline to fill in. Having these deadlines put more pressure on people to get their tasks done and set to finished in our Airtable account.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend starting with the default Airtable layout and making adjustments as you go. I think that will allow you to see what areas are lacking so that you can add or remove certain features or get a better idea of the template that would better meet your requirements.
Super powerful platform
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable blows me away with its aesthetic and functionality - "spreadsheets"/bases are incredibly pretty, can be totally bespoke to your project, and have amazing data storage features like roll-ups, linking between sheets, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Airtable is really sophisticated so it can be a little complicated and difficult to learn - I definitely try to start with templates rather than starting from scratch so I don't get confused by linking, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is my storage solution for so many kinds of data - from the personal like reading lists/restaurants to the professional like a personal CRM/deal tracker.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're not super proficient in Excel/Google Sheets, you might get overwhelmed by Airtable - just an FYI. I use Airtable more as a sophisticated replacement for a spreadsheet, not for the project management capabilities that others seem to use it for.
Excellent database tool
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is like an updated, seamless version of Google Sheets. You can share all types of data with your coworkers or even with your clients. Airtable provides a safe and handy way to store your project data online.
What do you dislike about the product?
Airtable has difficulties with bigger sets of data (over 20k entries) and filtering within the database might take a while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously we were users of Google Sheets, however switching to Airtable resulted in a more convenient way to keep track of our projects, as well as it improved our efficiency rate.
Airtable is great for research
What do you like best about the product?
I love the many capabilities and options Airtable provides. Love the ability to categorize my data and filter it in different views
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that I could link records between different bases
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’m sorting data I’ve collected and am expediting business processes.
Great software
What do you like best about the product?
I feel like it is excel on drugs. It has helped me become so organized
What do you dislike about the product?
Connecting the different sheets is challenging
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is an organized way to keep track of new contacts, store pictures, and record interactions with clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great product. Make sure you don’t enter too much, otherwise you have to pay.
Spreadsheets on steroids.
What do you like best about the product?
Omg what is there to not like about this platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the many functions are hard to know what you really can do per column.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Staffing, calendars, affiliate tracking, expense reports.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a must for any biz solopreneur or agency.
