Smooth, versatile & user-friendly platform.
What do you like best about the product?
1. Having your community and your surveys/focus groups hosted on one platform lets you do so much with the data you have.
2. Progressive profiling enables targeted and efficient surveying with higher-than-your-average-CRM- reponse-rate.
3. Very engaged customer success and technical support teams. Promptly available, friendly & know their stuff!

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Some technical issues with the website can occasionally interrupt an otherwise smooth experience.
2. Not being able to immediately get notifications of customers posts and emails.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hosting all our research in-house is creating huge savings.
An excellent research platform
What do you like best about the product?
Alida's platform has facilitated the growth of our online community, allowing us to become more customers focussed.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be beneficial if the online qual elements were slightly improved as we've not been able to make too much use of things like forums.

Alida allows us to conduct fast market research and meet tight deadlines around the business.
Seamless and User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
You're able to grab insights across multiple perspectives, which can help cater to more than one voice - instead of only having one group of data to go off of.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a minor learning curve using the software, though once you're able to play around with it long enough you're able to do so much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us lead with the customer in mind, instead of doing the guesswork - we have real genuine data to use.

It allows to easily manage the websites and ease of uploading and managing the contents

sometimes it can be clunky as different tools are hosted on different areas on the website

product improvements, new idea testing. we can talk to members who want to give feedback, rather than emailing thousands of members who don't want to take surveys
Eays to use and sophisticated survey platform
What do you like best about the product?
Scripting is very easy, as the UI is clear, and it's easy to create and follow logic - much easier than SurveyMonkey because you can preview any portion of the survey and manipulate profile variables to check different routes and logic. You can also script more types of questions (highlighters, video responses, etc.) and make hidden markers, which are super helpful for analysis on the back end. Alida makes it very easy to monitor field and quotas. Also great for managing communities of users/respondents and sending invites to internal lists of users.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you need a specific usability/UX testing tool, this is probably not it because the surveys are more rigid and don't allow for users to come and go seamlessly from redirects or stim to survey questions like a platform like usertesting.com does.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alids is my team's main platform for market research. Very easy to survey gen pop respondents via panel partners and our own internal user/customer email lists. We use Alida to track our brand equity, concept test, message test, and A&U studies among others.

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Alida for the last 7 years of my career and have seen all of the growth and transitions they've made for the better. We have an excellent CSM (Aidan) who is ultra-responsive and a pleasure to work with. The survey tool is foolproof and has some awesome features that really set them apart.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it takes a while for requested changes to be made from professional services and responsiveness by the member services team isn't always there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's great to be able to tap into our Clients' thoughts easily and quicklys so we can adapt our business.

What do you like best about the product?
They have been great partners in helping us think through a solution. While we're not there yet, their commitment is paramount.

We are still thinking thru the solution - was hoping to get there sooner, but I know we will get there.

Great Insights, Fast!
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to get creative and custom with the line of questioning has helped our business tremendously when it comes to insights we can gather through surveys.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't yet, found a good way to utilize the portal. That said, I would love it if there were a more "foolproof" way to design a good portal. Possibly with more templates or reminders to update?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In general, a better understanding of our customer overall. Most importantly, the ability to do research in house; you can't put a price on that. As a business, we can move quickly and in the right direction.
Great partner, great tool, great insights
What do you like best about the product?
Our customer success manager has been a true partner to us. She always offers strategies to help us with recruitment and engagement and is truly invested in seeing us succeed. The tool itself is agile and user-friendly and has a wide range of capabilities around question types. It's effortless to view summary statistics of the data and share that with internal partners.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish that the reporting piece had more sophisticated filtering abilities, specifically by date, but they have been making substantial changes in the tool and I'm sure that is something they will continue to improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been leveraging Alida for customer intelligence and Voice of the Employee. On the client side, the ability to create a customer community and use profile variables to target specific users has allowed us to bring more client feedback into our product development and innovation processes. It has made our clients see us as more of a strategic partner. On the employee side, we've used surveys to understand employee sentiment and their experience and collect employee feedback to help prioritize client-facing efforts. We've used this insight to inform our internal comms and drive employee engagement, which has been particularly impactful throughout the pandemic. Lastly, we recently expanded our contract with Alida to include their Video Discussion feature which enables us to conduct client interviews & focus groups in a much more streamlined approach. The Video Discussions piece includes recording, transcriptions, and the creation of highlight reels - all of which have been a game-changer when it comes to qualitative reserach.
