Sugar Market is a great add on for Sugar CRM.

  • February 16, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Sugar Market is a great add on for Sugar CRM, it provides seamless integration for e-mail marketing lists and enables single mailshots or advanced drip campaigns. While Sugar Market was not natively written for Sugar CRM, integration is quite advanced and improving all the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all of the terminologies between the two systems is perfectly aligned, but it is getting better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sugar Market allows us to ensure we are reaching our customer base regularly and we are able to segment our customers on various categories very quickly for targeted campaigns.

Satisfied Customer

What do you like best about the product?
The training, UX, template creation is very easy to use for any marketer. You don't need code background. Everything is WYSIWYG.
What do you dislike about the product?
This biggest disconnect is not having the emails in the campaign folder. You have to create the individual emails for each campaign separately and then link them in a higher level campaign folder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are creating a way to capture leads, nurture leads, score them and hand to sales when qualified. This system will take the place of constant contact for us. It is also giving us the ability to post, listen and monitor our social media accounts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do you research! There are a number of systems out there. Ensure the ones you look at fit your business need and will allow growth/scalability. This is why SugarMarket was the clear choice for us. The entire experience has been a pleasure and I look forward to getting the system implemented so we can have data at our fingertips.

Promising Platform For Sugar But Room For Improvement

  • November 12, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It offers great potential for Sugar CRM integration since it's owned by Sugar. Many of the automation platforms don't offer great integration with Sugar CRM, or some features are only available for Sales Force.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it offers a lot of potential for better integration a lot of that is not there yet. For example, custom module integration. The setup and initial launch has been a little buggy, but the support has been good and I think we're getting some of the issues resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sugar Market handles all of our outbound emails. Plus we are integrating more and more nurture campaigns that have worked really well so far. Lead scores have been super helpful in the past for our sales team and we almost have that up and working.

Solid Interface, with Functionality Challenges

  • November 12, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is clean and fairly simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to delete things just seems like such an odd feature. You end up with multiple things labeled "do not use" if it wasn't set up correctly the first time because you can't go back and delete them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing automation, email campaigns, landing pages
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you know exactly what you're getting during training/implementation

What do you like best about the product?
It integrates with Saleslogix. Is much better than the older version.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to use. Email editor is not robust - very basic and a bit cumbersome to manage. Metrics are basic unless you license additional features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We email marketing executed and that's it.

Recently transitioned to this platform. Have had a mostly positive experience so far.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the simplicity of the mergre tags
What do you dislike about the product?
Email builder 2.0 has had some issues so
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bounce rate on emails has improved.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
They seem to still be working out some mostly minor bugs and it might be worth waiting a little before switching if possible. One of my main trouble areas is with the email 2.0 builder. I like the way this builder is set up (the functionality is more user friendly than the original builder) but there have been minor problems such as the emails not appearing properly for some platforms —specifically Outlook— The organization of emails and lists has also been a minor inconvenience as it is not quite as straightforward as the organization in Act-On. Despite some issues Sugar Market is still an effective tool overall, as it currently stands.

New Sugar Market User

  • August 20, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how user friendly the system is and how easy it is to build and link campaigns. I love that you can embed forms onto your website or within an email. I also appreciate the training when joining and how helpful both the Sugar Market implementation team and support team are!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how some things seem to be unorganized like the way lists, campaigns, etc. are laid out. I also think this is still in a new development stage so there is a lot of room for improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving numerous problems by switching to Sugar Market. 1) We use Sugar CRM so having two systems that are ran by the same company make their connection much better than using another automation system. 2) We are an international company so we have to send emails out to customers and prospects world wide, this system has made it much easier to get our emails out to countries in the APAC and EMEA region. 3) Lastly, but there is much more, we needed something that could make our marketing and sales transition much more automated!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you go in with an open-mind, willing to work with a newer program that still may have some kinks but is headed in a great direction. Know that your processes will become more automated which is great.

Run all demand gen through SugarMarket

  • August 20, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Running the nurture marketing programs through the system is the best part.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting is a bit dated and can be cumbersome to use. The email designer needs to handle images better from a responsive standpoint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly we are solving sales and marketing alignment related issues. We are sending more qualified leads to sales and running more impactful email campaigns
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to do ALL training and onboarding

Sugar Market gets the job done but it is not as robust as I would like it to be.

  • August 20, 2020

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Sugar Market is that it is user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that it is not as robust as I would like it to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving connection issues that I previously experienced with my last automation platform, Marketo. Market connects directly to CRM which is nice.

Review

  • August 05, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This platform has proved to be a valuable asset. It seamlessly syncs our CRM data with our email marketing in a way we have been unable to previously. This provides a faster response than we had previously, making our touchpoints much more effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigation can take a minute to get used to, and while it grows on you bringing new users onboard takes some time. Support can take a day or two to get back to us when we have unorthodox requests. Thankfully both are minor, negligible issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The sync with our CRM is the most important issue. Previously we had time delays, issues with consistency, and hurdles over the size of the data moving between the two platforms. Bringing everything under the same flag seems to make things work nice and smooth.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're already using SugarCRM (or Sugar Sell) then this is a no-brainer for a trial run. It's really pretty seamless. The onboarding process is in-depth and really worth the time investment. I'd also suggest bringing in at least two user for that training to help absorb everything and get the most out of the process.
