Terrible Support, Bad Acquisition, Broken and Won't Take Responsbility
What do you like best about the product?
Sugar as a core idea is the only full automation system compatible with Sage CRM.
What do you dislike about the product?
Probably the worst support I have ever experienced. I have wasted countless hours explaining my issues to the support team, they don't seem to actually listen to what I am saying before sending back the most brainless response possible and sending links to the documentation. Then they try to close the cases. They fall back by blaming Sage CRM and keep telling us that our Sage CRM is "not standard", however our Sage CRM is 100% standard. The system is absolutely full of bugs - for any one thinking of signing up you should know that there are over 1 thousand open bugs on the portal. During the implementation process, we have been trying to get the system up and running for over 12 weeks and every time we move forward something else that is critical goes wrong and we spend hours of time trying to get Sugar Market to take responsibility.
The email manager/system works well, but the rest of the system is unstable. Salesfusion was recently acquired by Sugar and the whole transition process has been awful and you can tell that they haven't thought a plan through thoroughly. Really regret signing up with Sugar market.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Major sync issues with external CRM, bad support, buggy system, doesn't work as expected
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't.
Easy Marketing Platform To Use.
What do you like best about the product?
The support team is outstanding-they answer questions easily and I appreciate how they go beyond answering questions. The software is simple to use-the interface is user-friendly and particularly the e-mail developer is easy to drag and drop for e-mail promotions. This year, I have used your Advanced Analytics software and the reporting features are nice to connect our CRM sales data with our leading data and processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some minor features, such as failure to exclude certain e-mail domains from completing applications, are not provided.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have moved to Salefusion from a different marketing platform because Sugar, our CRM program, is directly incorporated into it. The synchronization is highly reliable, Salesfusion service is outstanding and the features provided suit our needs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The brand has many features so do not try to do too many things at a time and go a little bit relaxed.
Different now that is belongs to Sugar
What do you like best about the product?
The new email builder is nice but you can't yet use it to buildout nurture campaigns which sucks. They added a lot of new features to it since the old one like a drag and drop option for images etc. It's decently easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've been having several issues with this software since it switched ownership. Several bugs in the email nurturing process. Forget about being able to test them and the pauses are way off. Not sure what's going on there but I quit using it completely because every time I try and built a new campaign I get so frustrated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm not any longer solving any problems. Once the contract is up, I'm considering a different software. Not a huge fan of the new company. I have issues with invoices every month and I'm basically being told that they are "too busy" to solve the issues. Will give it a few more months to see if they get back on track.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a pretty tedious software so if you don't have an experienced email marketer working for you I'd consider something else. I don't think they still do the biannual training since taken over by sugar market but if they do, send them. I found it extremely helpful.
Sugar Market is the best tracker of our sales.
What do you like best about the product?
By using the Sugar Market software, we can easily manage the contacts leads at every stage of the sales process and better tracking of the customer sales relationships. We can also share all of our important information about the sales and marketing very easily. Market is very important in our life because through it we can easily updates our sugar sales process efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main problem is that it cannot provide the other opportunity or any other resources management rather then the sales management. So, it is not the perfect CRM customer relationship management software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of sales and marketing process by SugarMarket software. This software allow me to better handle the sales and marketing contacts opportunities. Hence, SugarMarket is the most powerful sales pipeline management software.
We can compile data and execute sales campaigns with more precision with Salesfusion
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that Salesfusion is constantly evolving to stay relevant. A lead management tool is not only a financial investment but a significant time investment. It takes time to bring staff up to speed on how to use a platform and then be able to make the most out of it. The fact that Salesfusion stays up-to-date and goes the extra lengths to make sure the product continues to meet our needs now and into the future is incredibly important. I would also like to note with all of improvements to the platform there is always training and adequate support. We have never felt behind or completely lost with any of the new features that are deployed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I just wish Salesfusion had more integrations into other services. Their CRM integrations are great. Give us more connections into services like that. We can run into issues trying to get data from other aspects of our marketing stack into Salesfusion which can be challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's been great that Salesfusion is full featured and covers the main needs we have, all in one package without additional modules or options to buy. This has resulted in significant costs savings without loss of functionality compared to other systems we evaluated enabling us to invest in other places. Their integration to CRM systems is well done and gives us easy access to the data we need to make decisions. The Salesfusion support team has also been a bright spot and helped whenever needed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start simple and small with Salesfusion. Don't try to do everything all at once. It isn't worth doing something half-right. Figure out how to do a few thing right and continue to improve and grow on that. This will also help with your confidence as well as realize the power of Salesfusion. If you start too large and feel like you are failing, you will quickly give up.
Easy to use. Helpful and friendly support.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the drag and drop features. Easy to navigate editor. The A/B testing email set up is really nice. Uploading marketing lists are pretty quick and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes my emails will not look the same in the test email as they do in the editor. Data seems to come back inaccurate within the reports. The report will show over 100 clicks to the website while only a handful of them actually happened. We contacted support and were told thing is due to them inflating our data. Therefore, we have to manually sift through the data to find accurate information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We mainly use Salesfusion for brand awareness purposes and client retention with release notes and newsletters.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are a B2B Company consider wether or not you want to use this software for lead generation or brand awareness. Given the data discrepancies, it has been hard to use this tool for lead generation purposes.
Fairly easy to use, but with limitations
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to use old campaigns as a starting point for new ones. Can be created quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't resend a campaign to additional people. You have to recreate it and send. Sometimes the code is wonky. Takes some time to figure out why things don't work like you think they would!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing campaign design and uniformity to newsletters. Great statistics and nice to have unsubscribed, and failed email addresses so we can update them in CRM.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Would be easy for someone who know code. New learners can create basic, but have limitations.
GOOD core marketing automation capabilities GREAT support
What do you like best about the product?
Platform is relatively easy to use and navigate. It provides the core functionality for marketing automation and allowed us to expand beyond basic email marketing with lead scoring, event management, landing pages, etc. Also liked their business model a lot. Other vendors we evaluated were looking to charge per user (marketing and sales users) which would have limited our adoption and use of the product. Salesfusion unlimited user price model allowed us to get the functionality we needed and have the freedom to scale it throughout the company as we grew. New folks who come from using other solutions are always surprised that we can 'just add a user' when needed.
During our initial evaluation, their native CRM integrations were a big plus as well. Other vendors were relying on 3rd party solutions or had limited access to the underlying CRM data. Connecting our marketing data to CRM was key for us to be effective and allows for easy targeting based on our full set of CRM data. CRM connection is clearly an area of investment for them as they continue to improve with dynamic lists and the upcoming campaign object support which will further allow us to leverage CRM data to drive our campaigns and effectively measure ROI.
Finally, the item that has been the biggest positive for us is the support the Salesfusion team provides. The program is not without its issues and learning curve, but having the support team there to help makes us confident we can solve our problems quickly. Everyone I have interacted with in support has always been courteous and out to help us solve our issues as fast as possible. The support model and team Salesfusion has is definitely a huge asset for them.

What do you dislike about the product?
They are in the middle of updating the platform which leads to some UI inconsistencies and confusion on which version of a feature to use when. They are cleaning things up steadily and the new capabilities are much improved just hope the transition will be completed soon. Also, wish Salesfusion integrated with more 3rd party platforms and services. We can and have worked around this through custom API connections (with their support teams help) but sponsored/managed integrations would be very helpful. We need to capture a holistic view of our customers and prospects. For our marketing automation system to be the true hub of that data we need to be able to collect and interact with all our customer touchpoints effectively. They recently updated their API which I am told will open things up for continued integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted an easy to use scalable platform that we could grow with. Our previous solution was solely email marketing focused and we wanted to move beyond that to encompass the full customer journey which Salesfusion helps us do through its capabilities and CRM integration. Using Salesfusion we have seen increases in leads, better conversion rates due to nurturing programs and effective segmentation as well as reduced manual labor and improved quality as we were able to automate significant portions of our lead entry process using built in lead routing and assignment functions in the tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a tool that is on the rise and geared towards ease of use while still providing a lot of marketing horsepower Salesfusion is something you should consider. They may not be as well known as other competitors but their pricing (when we looked) was very favorable compared to other options and the capabilities were at least on par. Our experience with their support team has also been very positive which has been a huge plus for us.
Ideal for Small to Mid Size Businesses
What do you like best about the product?
It is fairly intuitive to use and the pricing is not to prohibitive. Some of the features are a bit clunky and as of late we have been having issues with email sends. Overall though, the platform offers everything you would want. The email setup is simple, creating forms/landing pages is easy and reporting could be improved on their end.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that our emails have been having issues sending as of late, even test emails are having trouble. The support though is for the most part on top of it and helpful but at times can seem like they just escalate things to get them off their plate but nothing gets done. Creating a report could be an easier process and really creating anything new could be easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides a platform that can be connected with many CRMs and allows for customization in that sense. It has allowed our very custom CRM to work pretty well with the email platform.
