Excellent CSPM (and beyond)
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz is a security engineering force multiplier. I like the attention to detail Wiz has put into their risk identification logic. I do not worry about them missing important misconfigurations. I love the prioritization that the platform can deliver. This combination allows security engineers to focus on the areas where they add the most value and not have to drive operational remediation work. The process-focused compliance group can largely run remediation efforts based on the priority set by Wiz.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, Wiz is great, but it can take some time to get used to its graph query language structure. It would be nice if Wiz could offer faster and more frequent rescans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, Wiz is helping us drive prioritized remediation efforts across our cloud footprint. Wiz is even helping us scale our compliance group since development teams can use the tool to see only the issues relevant to their work.
Next generation in VM
What do you like best about the product?
Having to work in VM space for a while, Wiz is driving up the efficiencies for the security team. No more management of virtual scanners, missing CIDR ranges, auth creds to systems. Those seem problems of the past while working on the platform.
The best part of the tool is, how easily I can drive insights. Automate the triage process for security findings that are unique to our organization.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Coverage for physical servers for VM scanning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consolidate the tooling space for VM scanning, CSPM and Container Security.
Wiz does not just allow me to consolidate these capabilities into a single platform; it helps to drive meaningful insights by correlating security findings across different areas (VM scanning, Cloud Infrastructure and Microservices security)

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and the depth of discovery made this an incredible purchase. We were able to provide clear data to our Eng team so they could prioritize fixes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The output can be overwhelming. Many AWS installations are vast and interconnected. Wiz can feel a little overwhelming at first. My advice is to stick with it, work with the team at Wiz, and they will help you find a path. Once it's in and running, it's great to know you're environment is covered!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz was providing visibility into a complex legacy AWS installation. It was able to show us points of vulnerabilty and the potential blast radius of exploits.

What do you like best about the product?
Single pane of glass for visibility into our cloud environment. With a quick and simple setup you can see all the assets you have, what vulnerabilities they have, and what they are communicating with. Customer support team is amazing, quick to respond and help address any issues that come up. Easily integrates with our security tools as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Documenatation is gated by login. When working with multiple groups for deployment, who might not need access to the tool, require a Wiz account to be able to view the required documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lack of visibility in our cloud environments was the biggest problem we needed to solve. Security did not have that and looking for potentially multiple tools to get this. Instead we found we solve multiple problems with 1 solutions and without any agents being deployed.
Seamless Cloud Configuration Management application
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to have cloud configuration no longer be a mystery especially for third party vendors.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few additional enhancements to the product for automating/scheduling checks.

Wiz provides complete cloud governance of my environment which allows me to comply to regulations
Reveals issues that are hard to discover
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz provides insight into our cloud environment that we otherwise would not have. The Data Security and External Exposure features have been particularly helpful in tracking down critical risks to our data and infrastructure. The team has been incredibly helpful and ready to jump in whenever needed. Overall, we've had a great experience with Wiz so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
No real downsides just yet. Setup was a little rough, but that is likely an environmental issue and not specific to the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a robust cloud environment that is getting increasingly difficult to monitor. Wiz provides valuable insight into how we can secure our operations and where we need improvement.

What do you like best about the product?
Wiz is a centralized platform catering to all your cybersecurity needs and the support team is always there to help you out and answer any questions you have.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have been using wiz for quite sometime now but haven't seen anything to dislike.

Wiz helps us aggregate all vulnerabilities within our cloud environment.

What do you like best about the product?
Wiz's value proposition in the vulnerability proposition space is unmatched. The contextualization mixed with the exploitability reduces our volume and increases our impact. Wiz also showed my team blind spots such as unknown cloud subscriptions that would have never been even linked with our traditional vuln scanner.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could rip out a few more tools internally and go all in on Wiz, however I still need to find ad-hoc solutions to cover remaining data centers, offices, and end user devices. Reconciliation of the two processes still burdensome, bright as the future is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asset management, contextualized vulnerability prioritization, risk management, complaince/framework analysis. But the biggest win is having devops teams working natively through the tool to find systemic problems rather then playing with spreadsheets or tickets full of vulnerabilities.
Fantastic visibility into multi-cloud
What do you like best about the product?
I'm impressed by the Graph-based data model. It allows them to grow and keep pace with the changes being released on all fronts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Pro can be a Con, to beginners. Wrapping my brain around Graph was challenging. Once I "got it," then the capacity to find the impossibly unique situations becomes possible.

Wiz enables a self-service experience for developers, app owners, AND the security team to review architecture, remediate issues, and take a pulse on how we are doing as an organization.
