Great product, quick changes and development, lack of AppSec value
What do you like best about the product?
well designed UI, new features come quickly, easy intergration
What do you dislike about the product?
wiz does not bring a lot of value fot the AppSec team, it seems that the product was deigned for secops team mostly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
detection of cloud resources and security best practices, the most valuable to me at the moment is SCA

What do you like best about the product?
Great UX, great explorer, super insightful information about environment. Even used cross-team to supplement AWS' lacklustre UI/UX

No major downsides. If nitpicking, there could be better versioning around the policies that are required to connect to the cloud env so we know what changes are made when updating.

Wiz generates a vulnerability map displaying the route through the network to exploit the discovered issue

The query language can be difficult to get started with, it's sometimes not obvious which statement is needed to match up with what you're looking for.

Analysing the entire AWS estate providing detailed answers as to how many resources have x status, for instance which S3 buckets are encrypted

Excellent vulnerability management tool for cloud
What do you like best about the product?
I love Wiz because of its automated scanning, real-time alerts, and risk prioritization features. Its collaboration tools also make it easy for our security teams to work together and efficiently identify and remediate vulnerabilities. Highly recommended.
What do you dislike about the product?
Software can sometimes be complex to set up and may generate false positives. Another point is that it may not integrate with all tools an organization uses, but overall it is a solid option for vulnerability management.

It helps our company mitigate security risks, save time and resources, and collaborate more effectively. Its cloud-based platform enables real-time identification and prioritization of our vulnerabilities, allowing our security teams to take immediate action to prevent potential breaches.

Wiz is a wise investment for any companies running infra on cloud
What do you like best about the product?
We did a very comprehensive review of cloud vulnerabilities assessment and landed with Wiz as a choice of partner. We found that Wiz simplified how you need to understand a resource on the cloud by creating a comprehensive diagram of how it gets connected and exposed to the internet . The ease of integration through API is one of the big selling points. The one-glance classification of the issue gives you a systematic approach to addressing the problem in your cloud environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Users cannot verify if an issue they fixed is resolved until 24 hours later. I am looking forward to Improvement on the feature allows end users to verify issue that has been fixed instantly instead of waiting for an overnight scan.

Wiz provides us with visibility of resources we have on the cloud and reports on an issue and vulnerability present promptly.

What do you like best about the product?
Wiz is simple to deploy and provides full visibility of a multi-cloud estate within 24 hours. The platform is incredibly intuitive to use and navigate, and encompasses excellent visibility of cloud assets, resources and hosted software.
The presentation of "toxic combinations" (e.g. external exposure, secret key issues, vulnerabilities, overprivileged accounts, etc.) provide cloud security and SOC teams with holistic information to investigate and rectify. The Security Graph is simple to use, and can generate basic queries to advanced complex queries across the cloud estate. For example. It can generate a full attack path from external IP address across the entire cloud stack to the vulnerable resource.
The company are a pleasure to deal with and engagement with Wiz has been great - no pushy sales (the product sells itself), customer success teams that genuinely engage, technical support that responds instantly, and product enhancement suggestions are road-mapped and delivered promptly!

What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing model was flexible but still expensive compared to other players in the CNAPP space - however, all other advantages outweigh the competitor's offerings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz solves both business and technical use cases across various functions inside and outside Cyber Security. One example is the asset inventory scanning and reporting can beimported into CMDB platforms using API's and presents a detailed and accurate view of the entire cloud stack incl. hosted OS, software (including versioning) and patch management status.
