A tool that really knows what Continous Delivery means
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to deploy code with Harness CD with the help of Harness Delegator, and It has good GitOps support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Continous Delivery with on-prem/edge is not straightforward
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Harness CD helps us in quickly deploying our code to various environments and then finally to production.

Easy onboarding experience and great support!
What do you like best about the product?
Propelo fits with how we manage our software engineering practice; we don't have to mold ourselves to it. The onboarding experience has been top-notch and much easier than I had expected. The support team has made the steps straightforward and eased communication across the organization. This has been way better than expected.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've not got far enough along yet to hit any snags. I'm hoping once we get past the basics, configuring the more advanced features that will give us the most bang for the buck will be as easy as the initial steps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use the DORA metrics as our topline performance view at each level of the organization. It's difficult to see and understand the many small forces that impact those metrics. Propelo provides that ability. We can intuitively drill down and find where we're nailing it and where we can improve. We want to improve everyday`. Propelo gives us the tools to do it.
Amazing tool to govern Engineering Excellence
What do you like best about the product?
Propelo has helped us understand and visualize the key metrics involved in our journey towards achieving engineering excellence by simplifying the process of identifying and analyzing bottlenecks and by providing metrics with deep insights and proper categorization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn’t necessarily call it a disadvantage but as with any toolset you must properly learn the tool to take advantage of it. With Propelo's dedicated teams always ready and willing to assist, they make the onboarding and configuration process very straight forward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Propleo has helped our organization in several key ways
1. Propelo gives us a universal platform to be able to collect metrics across a wide array of teams and processes.
2. Propelo's implementation of DORA metrics has helped us in understanding where we are excelling and where we have room for improvement in a very direct and visual way
3. Propelo provides us with the data driven insights that help lead us to our desired outcomes.

Excellent tool to create visibility for data driven teams metrics reports

I haven't come across anything I don't like yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scrum masters don't have to spend a lot of time creating these reports manually.
Quickly becoming a vital management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Customer service is superior. Tool is intuitive and have gained valuable insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like a Workday integration so I don't have to manually manage as people move teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Productivity, bottlenecks, hot spots
Comprehensive product that fills hole from development tools
What do you like best about the product?
Propelo can bring data from a number of tools that we already use to provide helpful charting and metrics that we don't get from those tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Still a work in progress. There are features we need - but the Support team has been responsive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding the efficiency of our engineering teams. Highlighting areas that we can improve.
Propelo Provides Quick and Accurate Dev Insights
What do you like best about the product?
We are really enjoying the bringing together in one place of our Jira and Git activities. It makes it really easy for us to track and share our teams' KPIs without having to go to multiple applications and stitch data together.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the dashboard "filters" and settings aren't super intuitive, there is a learning curve. The Propelo team is on top of things and very responsive, willing to jump on a call at any time to answer questions or walk through how we get the information we are looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are currently using it primarily for insights into Dev, QA, Customer Support, and Architecture teams' insights. We were previously having our managers and team leads gather the data for KPI reporting from multiple sources, stitching it together, creating Excel graphs and charts, etc. which was very time-consuming and also inconsistent across teams. With the Propelo dashboards, we are all looking at the same thing, measured the same way and it takes minutes.
This is a good tool for managers to track individual dev performance
What do you like best about the product?
Team Productivity Insights and Dev insights are helpful for the managers
What do you dislike about the product?
it would be nice to have a feature to auto recognize pipeline failure logs instead of manually creating triage rules since extracting pipeline failure logs using regexes are bit difficult among a huge set of complex pipelines with large console logs. Better to reduce manual work by introducing features like the ability to add repos to org units using regexes, the ability to add Jenkins pipelines directly from a Jenkins folder if possible
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Based on our requirements, it provides the Dev Insights and Team Productivity insights which s more beneficial for our managers

This would be a good tool for productivity tracking

What do you like best about the product?
They strive to simplify your deployment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Just about everything. The pricing model is out of touch with modern deployment methods, the way they manipulate underlying k8s objects has caused downtime, a whole new layer of domain specific language that you need to learn in order to IAC properly.. the list goes on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We started with Harness to get our feet wet deploying our apps into k8s. While functional, it is too much headache and money for the job.
Drone is easy to configure
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to set up a new CI/CD process with Drone, and also how fast multiple teams are able to make their deploys simultaneously. We used Jenkins before and it was extremely slow compared to the deployment pace Done has given us. I also love the UI and the multiple configuration options Drone provides. Documentation is good as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure what to say here. I don't see anything I think I dislike at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making CD/CD processes fast, and with little bottlenecks. Drone is also easy to configure even for engineers with not much experience with DevOps work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Drone is one of the best platforms for fast and easy CI/CD at the moment.
