Sophos MDR Helped Us Sleep at Night
What do you like best about the product?
24x7x365 Monitoring and Lockout Feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product change to essential and complete seems odd. Not sure their should be a different type of offering as the insurance feature seems meaningless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The monitoring feature is a godsend. We sleep way better at night knowing that our systems are being watched for bad actors.

Enhacing alert tuning and providing more customizable filtering option would help focus attention on the most important incidents

By outsourcing these critical security functions, we benefit from 24/7 vigilance by a skilled team thath quickly detects and mitigates threats before they escalate.

That it lets you manage and control centrally.

I honestly can't say there's anything about it that I dislike.

Threat isolation. It benefits us by staying in the know.
Sophos MDR: Proactive Protection
What do you like best about the product?
Sophos Managed Detection and Response (MDR) has provided an excellent experience. The MDR team offers proactive 24/7 monitoring and collaborates effectively with our internal Cybersecurity staff. The cloud portal delivers real-time threat intelligence, customizable alerts and clear documentation. Automated actions like host isolation have been helpful during incidents.
MDR comes with a lof integrations with M365 and Google Workspace you can setup for free to increase the visibility of the service.
With an email or a phone call, we don't have to wait for an incident, we can also ask them to investigate potential one every day with no extra cost and fast responde time, it's also easy for our Junior team members to interact with them since you can ask questions via email or phone.

What do you dislike about the product?
Phone call clarity issues - some agents are non-native English speakers which can make live support calls harder to follow.
Limited reporting customization - some on the built-in templates are quite rigid.
Some Endpoint best practice policies are in conflict with what's suggested bu the MDR team.

Reducing headcount pressure so we don’t need to hire too many of cybersecurity engineers. Our lean team can stay lean and focus on high value projects.
