Reliable and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I've enjoyed the simplicity of getting set up with OneSignal. Their free plan is almost more than generous for my basic messaging needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
While setup was relatively easy, it appears OneSignal used to be for gamers so API documentation would reference "players," which was confusing in some cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a number of small, white-label apps with very basic push notification needs. OneSignals ease of use has been a great fit for this use case. Spinning up a new app takes 5 minutes.

Iniciative, flexibility, efficacy
What do you like best about the product?
They were not only polite, but did everything to help me. When I could not put into practice their advice, I asked if they could do it for me and they promtly did so! And it worked just fine. I really had to bother them with maybe 9 different messages as I was trying ot undestand what to od adatnhey were steadfast in trying to help me till it was done!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. They were helpful by chat nad when it was not possible (too late in their time zone) they reached me by email and got the job done! I was really impressed!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me to connect to the social media audience through an extra medium (website), which is similar in the ways by which social media operates. Also it gives me the capacity to estimulate their future interaction by sending them push notifications!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
it is effective... Do it!
A simple, yet powerful communication tool with fantastic support
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of OneSignal to me is the support. Everytime I get confused on something, I can ask them and they are there to help. Their features are also simple enough for anyone to understand!
What do you dislike about the product?
OneSignal's email features could use a bit of work and then could compete with existing email platforms, like SendGrid. The inability to make automation, unsubscribe groups, and a few other things prevented us from making OneSignal handle all of our communication
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OneSignal helps us improve our retention rates with the app and communicate messages without making code changes on the backend. So if we have an outage, we can communicate that quickly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you have someone who can set up the code if doing it on mobile. That's about it!
Easy to use and integrate in your WP site
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to integrate it with my WordPress website. Also, sending push notifications takes seconds. I like seeing the live stats update after sending.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not sure how the segmentation work. I don't like the limitations imposed on free accounts. I would like the WordPress integration will include UTM links as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Implementing push notification on your own is not an easy task, oneSignal makes it very easy. I can schedule my push notifications which saves me time. It is great to see the stats.
Easy and user-friendly tool
What do you like best about the product?
Transparency and easy of use, easy to add graphics to the push and transparent date settings.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is uncomfortable to find old reports about clicks on certain pushes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Setting pushes for players (increasing the number of entries into the game)
Really nice
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, practically, a lot of interesting functions. Send notifications we all use push yes
What do you dislike about the product?
no, this program is great :D
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No problems :D
Positively surprised by the straightforward and simple approach
What do you like best about the product?
I love that OneSignal focuses on doing few things well. It stands out from other SaaS services that are usually quite bloated and feel like they have salespeople design them rather than product managers and engineers.
What do you dislike about the product?
If anything, I wish the UI was a bit faster and had more flexible analytics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It works well for all our basic messaging requirements, and we've been able to add new messaging functionality thanks to the simplicity of creating custom audiences that we send automated messages to without relying on any third-party services.
Look at this notification service
What do you like best about the product?
Managing audiences, being able to customize messages, add images, plan the timing of pushes, and being able to analyze data from past experiences with notifications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to check information about audiences without downloading the entire CSV file. It was tough for us to find if our employees were subscribed and included in the audience. We had to check it by last action and device name.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem of lack of communication with our player base. We've realized the benefit of well-timed push notifications, impacting players' login times and sales.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use this to notify your client base about anything worth mentioning and encourage them to open/enter whatever you provide.
Needs and suggestions for improvement on structures
What do you like best about the product?
Best part is push notification duplicate option in my opinion. Except for companies with very niche needs, I generally consider onesignal to be an adequate service for all companies and/or individuals who want to deliver their push notification and content to users.
What do you dislike about the product?
We cannot determine the number of lines we can see on a single page. (In the Push Notifications page)
The lines on the Push Notifications page may be thinner, for now each line is unnecessarily thick.
There is no mobile app, we have to use the browser when we have to handle our tasks on the phone, which is a bad thing.
While installing push, we have to manually enter texts for different languages, we cannot automatically fill in all of our desired languages by importing an excel file.
While creating a push notification, we cannot see and select colors in the LED Color and Accent Color sections on the android side. Why do we have to learn the color code from outside and come to onesignal page again?
Push notifications calendar only works with 12 hour schedule (am & pm), why there is no 24 hour support in settings?
There is no practical drag-and-drop support for the images we will add to the push notifications page.
After creating the push, we want to go directly to the Messages page, but the system redirects to a new page and shows the details of the push we just created on this page, which causes a waste of time. They can add this as an option in the settings.
The site has only English language support, more options should be added. Shouldn't be difficult to a professional company like OneSignal.
While creating push, we have to scroll down on the page many times in order to do all the settings, the design of the elements here and the weakness in the use of space cause speed loss.
When we click on the "Send To Test Device" button while creating a push, we have to scroll to the right because the pop-up that opens is small. They can remake an enough size of the pop-up so that we can see everything without scrolling.
When sending push, we have to upload the same image repeatedly to both the ios and android parts, there is no setting where we can automatically upload the same image to both.
The service crashes more often than we can accept.
Push notifications that are set forward by selecting the time remain as "scheduled" status recent days. (They wrote that they were working as a team on this issue, but they still didn't implement a solution.)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had an app key loss problem related to our application continuously on the google android configure page, onesignal support unit held a meeting with us and dealt with the problem specifically, and resolved the issue with backend support. It is very valuable to get support from a person instead of drowning in F.A.Q pools that do not answer your questions, so I am satisfied with the attention of the engineers working in the user support unit.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Although it has shortcomings, it is a service that you can choose blindly for push notification for now. I believe it will improve over time.
Great but there are some things to work on
What do you like best about the product?
Clear, intuitive interface, minimalistic nice design.
I am happy to be able to preview messages and duplicate old ones. Insight into recipient statistics and which messages were clicked the most.
Possibility to add emojis and graphics, option to set sending push messages long-term. History of sent messages and the possibility of comparing them and preparing documentation.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the page is too slow and I have to take quite a long time for it to load and the number of sort options is sometimes too limited, there could be more options.
Sometimes I find it difficult to locate older messages. and the date system is a bit inconvenient to use (order year-month-day).
These are minor things, but if you fix it, it could make OneSignal even more enjoyable.

Increase the interest of recipients. It allows us to find out what people are interested in in our project and what forms of communication are effective. More people became interested in our product and our players are more involved in our game.
If we make any changes to the game, we can easily communicate it to our players.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
The best application for communicating with customers, great for communicating with the news.
Easy to use, you can learn it very quickly without any problems. Even beginners can handle it. You can add your own graphics and check the statistics of delivered messages even over a longer period of time. The ability to send messages in different languages of the world.
