One console to handle push notification and monitor
What do you like best about the product?
I have used many messaging tools, mainly for push notifications. OneSignal provides messaging and enagaing solutions. The targeting option is handy for us to send notifications/messages to a larger audience. We can integrate third-party tools as well
What do you dislike about the product?
Needs to add more tutorials to understand implementation. It has limited tags to add, and you need to pay extra to get more tags. I didn't find a way to back up my data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us to send notification to our store agents about products and different kinds of reports. Send push notifications about new products or changes in pricing.
OneSignal and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The OneSignal platform provided ease of use and quick implementation for sending notifications ... At first I was using Firebase, but when I heard about the OneSignal platform, I switched to it directly because it is much easier.
Thanks OneSignal :)

What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I do not know yet if it can be done in OneSignal or not which is if can I send notifications for a specific process within the applicationor or not? ... So far, I think the answer is no. :(

OneSignal solves a lot of problems like sending notification for:
1- Updating the app.
2- Download other apps that I have made.
3- Open the app that I send the notification from.

Complaint About OneSignal/iOS-Hardware Interaction Answered With Detailed Workaround
What do you like best about the product?
Speaking only of the product itself, OneSignal excels at its primary function, which is the distribution of messages and images within *our* game system, starting from a relatively easy-to-use Dashboard origin point. From the programmer's perspective, the software module is not trivial to set up, but the technical team's adherence to the Cocoapods standard does make updating the software less of a hassle.
Regarding the support received, I was deeply satisfied by the company response to our latest problem. Team member Jon Fishman went to extra effort to provide a near-exact programming sample that we could place into our code, and through it the issue was directly solved. I've never known of any other company that supplies a customized sample of code as an answer -- the response could not be more perfect. Furthermore, after Jon's first involvement, he set up recurring check-ins for our help ticket, which reminded us that we had a solution available to try, and saw us to the ultimate confirmation of a successful help session.

What do you dislike about the product?
This will be an unfair comment, but very recently -- September 2021 to February 2022 -- the OneSignal module was directly responsible for complete breakage of the iOS copy of our product. On a positive note, "Danny" from OneSignal company provided faithful support at that time, suggesting that our copy of the software was out-of-date, and we should pull the latest version immediately. Still, it was a time of great panic for our staff, since the consequence of the obsolete OneSignal code was to crash the app immediately on startup with no explanation offered on-screen or even in the logs we were able to retrieve at the time.
In summary, we found it concerning that a malfunction in the OneSignal module could render the iOS copy of the app completely unusable, while offering no explanation as to what went wrong.
(To be clear, it is the software that didn't explain the crash. OneSignal staff was very helpful.)

OneSignal provides a platform of sorts to coordinate communication with our customer base; note that when I, the reviewer, James, say "our customers", I'm speaking of the game players of the Walking Dead: Road To Survival, and "our" includes the true owners and publishers of the game, Scopely. "I" am just a programmer of the game and a member of the contracted development studio, Iugo.
The messages and images that we send via OneSignal are a cornerstone of our marketing strategy. Each message overlays very simply overtop of our app screen, appears once (or optionally as many times as the trigger conditions dictate), and can be targeted to reliable categories of users.
We have our own proprietary messaging systems that are able to act on triggers managed within the game, and of course OneSignal is not our only partnership that enables advertising. However, ever since its introduction, OneSignal has been a permanent fixture of our customer communication strategy.

My Review for OneSignal
What do you like best about the product?
Ease customer messaging by enhancing web and mobile push notifications with just a click.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mobile application on my iOS doesn't allocate all capabilities available on cloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enables us to retain customers by creating a bond through push notifications, SMS and in app-messaging.
One notifications console to rule them all!
What do you like best about the product?
Like the brand name suggests - this is a single console that allows me to communicate with all the riders using my bicycle marketplace via email, notif, in-app banners etc. To set up transactional notification logic as well as create weekly marketing notifications. I can also A/B test notifs/emails - set up complex Journeys logic combining various types of communication methods for certain systems ( such as onboarding ) and then A/B test those as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the UX needs polish and some features such as Journeys A/B testing still need work yet overall still amazing how powerful of a platform it is for how small the team behind it is :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its a fairly easy to implement SDK that allows me to start sending out notifs to all 3 clients Android/ChromeOS, iOS/macOS, Web + email AND allows my dev team to integrate with for transactional notifications that are built into the logic of those same clients.
Great for user & visitor engagement
What do you like best about the product?
It offers templates for different scenarios, and you can also create many push notifications or emails by simply clicking things. I like how easy it is, and it really helps if you want to get more subscribers to your blog.
What do you dislike about the product?
They can add more prompt types or templates for websites. I find my website builder; however, they can partner with more website builders or create a plug-in for their plug-in markets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can show notifications on my website after some time passes when people visit. There are other plug-ins for my website builder, but they offer limited features.
