Teamcenter Systems Modeling Workbench a great tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like that SMW is easy to learn for Systems Engineers, it works the way we're taught to think. It includes a process, methodology, and a tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish even more companies used Teamcenter SMW.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Applying Model-Based Systems Engineering to our projects.

Web based UI that is intitutive to use. One solution for Eng and Mfg.

Can be complex a interface to navigate without some training.

There is a lot of esoteric knowledge needed in order to know what to configure to get the software to function as needed.

While I have not yet worked much with the tool, it may be complicated to connect old custom workflows with new technology.

The full suite of producst that are integrated with Teamcenter.
What do you dislike about the product?
Teamcenter documentation for the integration lack details. THe Invertor integration is the worst.

Change Management on the project I am involved in. Looking forward to SLM and Content Management.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the many products are integrated and help to build the digital thread in our ecocystem.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard for us to keep up with the new versions of the products and be able to take advantage of new capability in a timely fashion
