Better Email Security From All Manner of Threats Including Spamming and Encryption
What do you like best about the product?
I have used this email protection solution, and I like the ways it works. The tool makes it easy to block malicious email threats such as spamming and viruses

What do you dislike about the product?
Since I haven't encountered problems with this software, I cannot list any flaws.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We deployed this tool to protect our email gateway, and so far, it has been amazing. In addition, we no longer have to worry when sharing sensitive data thanks to the encryption features.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a must-have business solution if you care about your email security. I'm recommending it because it has been great.
Helps filter out junk emails

It blocks threat or junk emails that may be harmful to my computer from unknown contacts

Sometimes it blocks emails that are not junk or threats
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to filter out emails that are a sceruity threat.
Really great service as long as you are trained to use it
What do you like best about the product?
Easy way to get files back and forth in a secure manner without having to have FTP set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
The addin can be unstable and unadds itself from outlook frequently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security issues are constantly popping up. Keeping people from accessing spam on company email is a pretty large prority.
Great Solution, if you get the right Staff to support you
What do you like best about the product?
Mimecast search is the fastest I've used. Web UI is reasonably clear to understand once you acclimate. Most support staff very knowledgeable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some areas of the UI are overly complicated to administer. Other regions need the relatively newly added ability to add notes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SPAM and Attachment Protection is fantastic. I'm down to 1 or 2 spam messages a day. It used to be more than 10. Users can manage their own whitelist/blacklist.

Very easy to use, intuitive, comprehensive email security solution.

It does catch some legitimate emails by default

If you are looking for a platform that provides security and enterprise-level user training, Mimecast is for you.
Amazing Spam, Phishing, and Malware protection
What do you like best about the product?
The product is absolutely amazing and will do just about anything you want it to do. From a highly custom impersonation protection policy to really making sure not even newsletter spam makes it into your mailbox
What do you dislike about the product?
Alot of Mimecasts inner workings are black magic, such as the external custo domains list which causes issues for us weekly. It's almost like it's a dictionary match which is useless to us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were initially looking for dynamic email rewriting, but later feel in love with it's general email security.

What do you like best about the product?
The contectual warnings are much more helpful than a static notes added to every email. Beacon/tracker blocking is impressive and a previously unrecognized issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's impossible to tell how the intelligence it applied to a particular message, why was it or wasn't it "tagged".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Greatly improved information is provided to users. Impersonation attacks are controlled and blocked much better than in our previous system.
Solid protection and great value
What do you like best about the product?
It is hands off, not much maintenance...
What do you dislike about the product?
Support was lacking but getting better!!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the problem of getting bombarded with real phishing emails. Mimecast seems to be blocking well over 90% of bad ones. Only a few social engineering ones seem to slip through. False positives have been reduced as well.

Always reach out to support for anything. Best resource you can have.

Easy Management, Good Protection
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use and easy to manage - the UI is intuitive and flexible
What do you dislike about the product?
The think that I dislike the most is the very high amount of false positives when you have it set to aggressive or medium for managing SPAM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We cut down on the number of phishing emails that were impersonating our employee names and we have been able to manage releasing false positives very efficiently
