Good one
What do you like best about the product?
Very efficient tool and very good from security prospective.

Everything was except the interface could more smooth for admins.

I felt nothing to dislike. There are no specific reasons to dislike it.

It provides security gaps which may lead to mislead the data and causing security breach.

What do you like best about the product?
URL protection rewrites links in emails to point to Mimecast links. When clicked, these are run on Mimecast servers against various AV and sandbox solutions. Also has a cool 'User Awareness' feature page which pops up when the link is clicked, asking the user if they think the link is safe or not before proceeding. If they click on an unsafe link, not only is it blocked but the click is logged and the user is informed politely that the link was unsafe.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far.
Because there are so many great features available, it's also a massive time sink when you first get it and can take time to build up your knowledge. That's not a fault of the product.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Peace of mind. Exceptional protection from email-based threats such as malware and impersonation fraud. We can also report on and then target our click-happy users with some awareness training.

Mimecast threat intel feeds are ingested from various intel platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mimecast do not disclose the source of threat intel which is sensible but sometimes can be painful.

What do you like best about the product?
Mimecast has put itself upfront by going deep into various aspects of email security. From URL Protection, attachment sandboxing, and spam filtering to next-generation AI-based Threat feeds it is leveraging emerging and advanced email-based attack vector data to keep email security up to date to catch up with adversary tactics to limit their efforts to compromise and infiltrate IT systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
As far as email security requirements and capabilities are concerned Mimecast is at par but it is somehow hard to administer. Delivery of security goals from an E-mail perspective are almost entirely fulfilled thus administering pains can be ignored
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Up to date capabilities to defend against Email based threat vectors. It enhances and reinforces email security by implementing a zero trust model while processing emails from a cybersecurity perspective.

Give proper training to personnel to get best out of this valuable tool

A Comprehensive Email Security System with lots of Features.. maybe too many
What do you like best about the product?
Mimecast has a vast array of features, configurations, and policies which means it can be tailored to match your exact business needs. We're able to load in multiple email domains under a single licence structure (we're a group of companies), and it's done a good job at protecting our organisation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because the system is so vast it does take a lot of time and training to make full use of the system and fully work your way around all of the different features and policies. It's not that intuative, I'm constantly using Mimecast's online documentation and forums to complete even the most basic tasks. Also, their support can be pretty slow to respond.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were using Office 365's built-in protection for a long time, a lot of spam made it through. Mimecast stopped most of this instantly, we're using it for URL protect, attachment protect, targetted threat protection, and the email archive
Excellent Product
What do you like best about the product?
It does an excellent job of protecting you against threats from email and recognizing major forms of SPAM.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are very few downsides. It just takes a while to get used to administration and where to find everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to get way too much SPAM. We also were concerned abo9ut threats sent through email. Mimecast takes most of this worry away with very little effort on our part.

It prevents you from receiving unwanted emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
It holds up emails I need; however, once you realize it, you can go in and whitelist domains.

Prevent email phishing, including malicious emails.

None. Mimecast will direct and help you set up the best way for your company's needs.
Better email gateway to secure email traffic
What do you like best about the product?
Mimecast very effective to secure your organization from email threats. It will give various types of protections from external as well as internal threats. It will give impersonation protection, URL and Attachments protection to secure emails. Impersonation detection policies based on new domain, internal users etc. It will take actions on malicious mails like blocking and all. Based on different policies emails are held by Mimecast and admin can take action on the held emails according to the legitimacy. Admin can reject or release.
What do you dislike about the product?
False positive rates are quite more. Also in log analysis perspective it will give logs for only detections and not for all emails like gtrace. Admin console should be more user interactive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mimecast is very helpful to detect email threats so benefits are more. We can detect email threats like phishing, spam, impersonation etc. No any problems seen as such.
