Pretty useful tool for email security
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and user friendly, I can navigate through functions fairly easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. The data history available to user is not long enough, I believe I can only see up to 1 month.
2. Some features are not descriptive enough, it would be good to have a '?' by certain functions which provides explaination.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For my role it helps to ensure certain domain/IP/email address can be blocked/Whitelisted.
Also to track emails that goes in and out of the company.

Mimecast acts as an excellent front door for our email.
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility to use it how we want to is great. It offers us a wide range of options to control our incoming (and outgoing if we so choose) emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface could use a bit of help. Sometimes they move things and make them more difficult to find.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It prevents unwanted and potentially harmful email from even getting to us.

the completeness of the solution to cover all bases in terms of email threats ranging from phishing links, malware attachments to email sender reputation scoring

nothing in particular, while there is always more maturity possible

we were in need of a high quality security solution for our users which will address all cyber threats that originates via emails to an organization ranging from phishing links, malware attachments, sender reputaion checks and spam protection, and Mimecast solution fit that bill perfectly.

What do you like best about the product?
Mimecast for email security is one of the greatest product for email security. It comes with inbuild AI feature that helps to detect and stop malicious emails including phishing link and malicious PDF or other file extensions. It has a lot of customizable feature like you can set the policies as per your business need.
It has a very smart feature of spam score, with this you can see that an email is how much malicious and with this score, you can hold the email for review and then release as per your need.
It iks very easy to use and understand at an email secuirity admion level. You can set policies as per your requirements.
They have a very good customer support and engineers who can help you to resolve your queries.

What do you dislike about the product?
Generally they failed to detect zero-day attacks and their ebgineers always failed to provide the RCA of a problem at depth level. They need to improve their AI models.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mimecast is solving our one of the biggest problem of email security. Its malicious/Phishing email detection protecting our organization from all type of email attacks from the bad actors and reducing our attack surface. Mimecast is blocking all malicious attempts via email through different policies and procedures. In Mimecast, we can also block or whitelist emails and domains and run our business as per requirements.

What do you like best about the product?
All of the spam, junk, phishing, malicious emails are rejected and prevented from being delivered to inboxes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Spoofed emails from internal domains are treated as trusted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping bad emails out so legit emails are seen.
Used to be best in breed but has fallen behind in the last few years

Mimecast advanced email security filters out a lot of spam and is easy to use and understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has unfortunately fallen a bit behind in recent years with the advancement of AI and lack of investment which other competitors have had like Tessian and Microsoft

Mimecast is providing a good platform for arhciving and having a signature based approach to security.

The best part about Mimecast is its expertise and years of experience in the domain of email security.

There is nothing as such to dislike about Mimecast apart from they take a good amount for the support, even for the basic one that should be free.

What do you like best about the product?
This product is amazing and form apart of our ISO27001 controls. It is intutitive and easy to use. Provides a great depth of insights to security within our organisation. The Customer Support is always responsesive. Ease of implmentation was one of the main selection criteria for us, but we also found the ease of integration into our enviroment was also great! We frequently use this product ang highly recommend it to anyone!.

There are no down sides to this prodect.

Provides insights and addrersses a number of ISO27001:2022 controls.
