Great tool for Process Mining
What do you like best about the product?
Great tool for identifying the process tabs and process mining of data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The updates on the tool are slow. Some key KPIs are hard to calculate.

Helps in identifying the process gaps and bottlenecks in the processes.

At the moment am using outdated software which is heavily customised, this version cannot give data on specific procedure hits and numbers of users, this is something which was achievable on or old system so with regard to this we have taken a step back functionality wise

Governance of procedures, reduction in approvers, manging single source of the truth, raising awreness of data management and what makes a good procedure, single landscape for the whole company

Flexibility in process modelling and possibilities for custom script creation.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be very hard to learn for newcomers, especially when it comes to customizing ARIS for company. New users highly depend on ARIS support or private contractors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With ARIS we can create unified network of processes, automate creation of process documents for employees and fully account all activities within our company.
Advantages of ARIS
What do you like best about the product?
ARIS is a very good and easy to use tool. One can document their Business Process Designs using BPMN 2.0 notations. Folder structures can be created, function allocation diagrams can be created, its UI is very customer centric and easy to understand for a common man. I use it frequently (ARIS Designer) for drafting processes, its integration with other softwares is pretty simple and have good customer support in acse of any problems. One can learn ARIS and take free certifications ranging from basics to intermediary to advance or expert level. One can also do process mining to understand the in depth knowledge about their product and process. Its easy implementation makes it an ideal tool for mapping processes, process mining, third party integration and flawless user interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about ARIS is their web version (ARIS Connect), althoigh it has a pretty good interface but its sometime slow and due to latency it becomes difficult to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Software AG ARIS solves complex problems for businesses such as proper documentation of processes, mapping of processes along with risks, compliance, governance, key stakeholders, process improvements areas can be identifed and process mining can be performed for the same. This right documentation is requried as it is helpful during Audits and changes in organizations. These can be referred during transition phases, new changes. One of the major problem ARIS solves in the organization is the discipline of managing the documents, file explorer, smooth third part integration etc. I often use ARIS in my organization for the purpose of Process Designs, Process Mapping, identifying key process improvement areas and bottleneck situations. It helps me streamlining the processes and taken wise decisions.

What do you like best about the product?
I got to know Aris as a user, administrator and method manager, and the creation and provision of ARIS reports was also my responsibility. Software AG has created an eco system in which the collaborative development and use of the process portfolio is supported in a user-centric manner. In my use case, I had no ARIS integration with other systems; CSV and Excel files, as well as Word and PDF documents, were generated using ARIS reports. ARIS reports are written in JavaScript, and an easy-to-learn and well-documented API helps with this.
What do you dislike about the product?
ARIS symbols must be adapted to the corporate design, the method adaptation takes time, custom reports are useful but must be created for the use case

We are using it life when we are having customer audits and they all love the links between different process & functions . it is easo to use and integrated in our teams ... we are using it daily in our company .. Also very easy to implement and in case of questions ... super customer support

nothing wrong on the product ..; only we reduced the number of licences due to cost ...

We have integrated the entire company map into Aris. From the infrastructure to the business layer.
