The Scrut team and Automation tool were just what we needed for our ISO 27001 certification
What do you like best about the product?
The Scrut team guided and supported us very well from the project kickoff through the certification - with no surprises! Their support came in many forms: sharing their expertise and templates, capturing and tracking the documents in the Scrut Automation tool, and closely collaborating with us in weekly meetings and through our shared Slack channel. We were extremely happy with the process and the successful outcome.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool was fantastic. One feature that would have made things even better would be if the document search functionality covered document content. (I beleve that it curently searches just document titles).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Scrut Automation tool, coupled with Scrut-supplied templates, was perfect for getting us to ISO 27001 certification, starting from nearly nothing.
Each of the major workflow areas—policies, evidence, tests, and risks—are clearly separated and easily accessible through a left-navigation bar. Within the sections, there is simple and clear workflow support. The tool also features a nice dashboard view and a useful "Vault" for uploading documents that do not clearly fall within the framework.
Now that we have obtained our certification, we expect the tool to be helpful in managing ongoing compliance.

Efficient Compliance Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Scrut has nagivated us through the complex compliance process and we've successfully got the certificates. The platform of Scrut helped us easily organize all our documents for audit.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform, although very helpful, requires some time to learn. Some best practice guides will be a plus!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scrut helped us to meet the compliance requirements based on our situation without insensive extra investments, and they gave very clear direction in organizing all the necessary evidences needed.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been very happy using SCRUT as THE platform for our SOC-2-Type-2 and ISO 27001 compliance certification. Their team has been very diligent, supportive and professional!
Their online system is comprehensive and pretty much supports all things you will ever need to get certified.
BTW, they will arrange rehearsal to prep you for the formal/external auditing, which is a killer/must-have, or you will suffer big time with the external auditor(s).

This SCRUT team is very diligent, no matter where you are located, they can accomodate you, even when it's midnight their time (or yours if you don't mind?)

Excellent security compliance partner
What do you like best about the product?
A true compliance automation partner. They have the right tools and the right personnel to support you in your security compliance journey. The Scrut platform is simple and easy to use, the people you interact with are super helpful (shout out to Tyler Gronowski, Akash B P, and Prathap M), and the overall process is smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some user templates could be better edited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scrut's focus on helping its partners ace their security compliance journey were a tremendous help for us.
Security audits
What do you like best about the product?
The team at Scrut was very helpful (and patient) in providing guidance as well as examples or reference materials to assist in expediting our audits. The platform is easy to use and well organized, and the team assigned to our account were very knowledgeable. Overall, they did a great job.
What do you dislike about the product?
There was nothing we disliked to report!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our customers required validation of our data protection and compliance, Scrut provided all the services we needed, from a single source. This not only helped us complete all of the required audits, we also did not have to work with multiple services to complete them.

The project management team is excellent. They have great software as well.

Wehave no issues with them. If they had more sample documents it might have been helpful, but they have many.

Software company experience with Scrut Automation
What do you like best about the product?
Our company, StratusCX, is in our second year with Scrut. I've been in the software industry for over 30 years, and have worked with countless vendors. Scrut Automation is probably the *BEST* at providing personalized service, particularly considering we are a small company/customer. Our representative at Scrut, Priyanshi Rajora, is OUTSTANDING! Her efforts alone would keep me coming back to Scrut.
What do you dislike about the product?
There was very little to complain about with Scrut. They are a new player in the space so not very well known. Last year, I would have said their platform itself was still a little rough, but they have made tremendous improvements in over the past year.

We were new to the world of security certifications, and Scrut provided us the platform, policy templates, and most importantly the guidance we needed to get through this rather tough process.

What do you like best about the product?
Scrut Automation makes getting Insynctive SOC2 Type 1 as easy as it can possibly be. Scrut Automation was instrumental in Insynctives needed a SOC2 to get larger accounts specifically for a conservative client that is a well-known company with 1,500 employees, 33 locations and 180 sister companies across the US.
Achieving this certification and milestone is a huge accomplishment that Scrut Automation partnered with us to achieve. We had a weekly meeting, great guidance and their SaaS platform is easy to use and to update as we continue to grow Insynctive by winning new business.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are no short comings to mention. They had great customer support throughout the process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Achieving our SOC2 Type 1 and soon Type 2 certification will allow Insynctive to get into more mid-market and enterprise companies, service providers and insurance companies.

What do you like best about the product?
The support team was very helpful and organized. Showed us examples of what are the task we need to finish and helped us with everything. the meetings were short and organized and we managed to collect everything that we need fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is a bit overwelming, a lot is happening there and you can get easily lost.

Automated workflows can enforce compliance with internal policies and external regulations more effectively than manual processes. This reduces the risk of non-compliance and associated penalties.
