Powerful, flexible platform for a wide range of solutions.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the openness of the platform such as the robust API, and the flexibility of many of the features. This allows creative solutions to many problems to be developed, even if not precisely what you were thinking of doing. Additionally, the support, product team, and community of users are second to none in terms of helping.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some more transparency on the platform-wide thinking and roadmap would be great. Update drops are continuous but often feel a bit random and not what would be considered high need. It would also help to better plan where to make worthwhile investments of customizations where needed, knowing the timeline of when things might be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating, managing, providing access to, and tracking a full curriculum including elearning, virtual classes, skill builder sessions, and content sharing for 15,000 users across the United States.

Docebo is a user friendly tool for learners and administrators
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of administrating the tool to our learners around the world.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are a federation which allows us to provide one default experience and our federation to provide their own. But, there are some things in the system that don't work well with our set up...we have work arounds for most things; but not all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our old system was not user-friendly for the learners or the administrators. Docebo allows us to leverage the Power User functionality to enable our federation to control their users and courses while collaborating with our main office (me). This makes the experience appropriate for the audience. Achieving something as simple as that was next to impossible in our old system. Thanks to Docebo, we are more engaged than ever.
Docebo lots of opportunity for your LMS
What do you like best about the product?
By far the best part about Docebo is the supportive community of users. People there are super friendly and often willing to help. Other platforms I've used did not have such a vibrant user community. The platform has a lot of options and opportunities for LMS, and when we were reviewing LMS a few years ago Docebo was one of the top.
What do you dislike about the product?
Docebo can be glitchy at times. You'll set up an enrollment rule or a group setting, and it isn't working and then you email support, and suddenly it works. I'd love to see some of this glitching worked out. I'd also love to see better notifications where you can use multiple variables. I wish it was easier to set up notifications for learning plans. A lot of how we had to set up our system we had to hack the platform. The good news is the platform is customizable, so there are many possibilities!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to provide unique learning experiences for our diverse learning community. We were also able to create a learner community for our learners to connect and share with each other.
Docebo has helped us succeed!
What do you like best about the product?
The people that work there are really invested in helping customers achieve success. The platform is so versatile we are able to provide a robust catalog of offerings. We've been able to provide easy-to-access learning to our customers and employees.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only real complaint is that sometimes when we contact support, it seems like it's a bot and not a real person. It sometimes feels like they are listening to respond and not to understand, which can be frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Docebo has helped us decrease time to onboard, lower churn, reduce calls to support, and increase product adoption. We are also able to onboard new hires faster because Docebo allows us to streamline their training.
Using Docebo to manage an external, commercial LMS and e-learning shopfront
What do you like best about the product?
Relatively intuitive to use and fully featured enough to get off the ground quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Obvious that the system and user interface is going incremental updates as there are inconsistencies in its look, format, layout and approach to features. Seems limited in several areas such as SEO for the commerce page, admin privileges for Power Users, fields for reporting etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not sure! We use an external third party agency to manage our system for us. We have hit roadblocks and frustrating limitations to simple features and uses but workarounds are usually found to solve these.
A leading LMS solution... but could be better
What do you like best about the product?
Docebo Learn is fairly intuitive to use and enables to us to roll-out training quickly and easily at scale.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited customisation available in terms of UX and basic aesthetics without the help of a coding professional.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rolling-out our digital corporate training and external CPD courses.
It been a good year
What do you like best about the product?
The amount of control we have over the design and the flexibility in the platform to add our branding
What do you dislike about the product?
The number of new products coming out at additional costs and the lack of improvements to the basic platform and its functionality
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us have more of a blended learning, with live sessions, eLearning and just-in-time resources available to learners so they can access at a time that suits them
Inches away from incredible customization and freedom
What do you like best about the product?
Docebo is an overall solid platform that allows you to simply set up your learning platform and just go with it, but also break under the hood and achieve full customization (at your own risk, of course). As of mid-2023, it is still wrestling with the legacy design choices that impact your experience (not your users), but it's nothing tragic. If you're creative and willing to experiment with CSS and HTML, you will be able to achieve wonders with this robust platform. If you're not, then it's easy to use preset pages and publish courses for your audiences.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not the most intuitive and easy to admin platform. You will sometimes find yourself lost in the interface, and you will encounter some inconsistencies with the UI. Some features lack freedom; for example, a contest only has a couple of triggers when it should have a logic builder. While full and crazy customization is allowed, it is not supported. If Docebo decides to go towards a more headless solution, it will become the only reasonable choice on the market for companies serious about enablement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Docebo is a Swiss army tool that allows us to solve any issue coming our way in the enablement process. While it has it's downsides, there wasn't a necessary action that we couldn't perform in it.
A 5* LMS that you can customise to your needs
What do you like best about the product?
Customise to your own needs, you can have several dashboards for different users. We have created a New Starter Page, pages for different departments and more recently created a page on using AI. We love how you can design pages using images and text.
What do you dislike about the product?
They tend to release / share products that are not ready / fit for purspose. A recent example, we received a Teams demo to show how Docebo can be integrated into Teams. It was clear during the demo that is cannot do half of what Docebo are wanting it to do so we suggested revisiting it at a later date when it further developed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our learning being in one place, collaboration across teams, our people being able to access just in time training, our onboarding process is more streamlined now we are using Docebo.
Its a one stop shop for learning and any events we host at Burges Salmon individuals will go to Docebo to sign up.

Solid product with room to grow
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of the custom pages are very useful for surfacing relevant information to the correct people. The course management interface and setup is much easier to use than previous LMSs I have used. It is very easy to customise the platform and make it look good and easy to use for our end users.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting functionality is not as good as other platforms I have used, you are limited on the types of reports you can pull and on the fields available. I also feel the Outlook integration is more complicated than it should be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform allows us to easily surface relevant content, and provide featured learning that falls in line with what the business needs. Docebo also allows us to easily manage our compliance renewals which reduces the time our administrators spend chasing individuals and running reports.
