Best standalone development environment
What do you like best about the product?
All in one shop and the best job as a code DevOps tool/utility, which gives the ability to test debug and code and can be integrated seamlessly with other third-party tools like Jenkins, GIT, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
multiple site customizations, user-level access are difficult to set and should be given priority.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Yes it's best tool for batch process
Control-M is a very nice tool.
What do you like best about the product?
I admire it's graphical layout. During batch processing i enjoyed watching progress. I worked on large system which got more than 10k jobs to execute. Options like 'n' which generate dependencies chain (predecessors and successors) was very useful to find where your processing fails. It was very easy to steer workload processing by putting F, H etc (force, hold etc) next to desired job. Also job parameterization card on which input conditions, semafors, time conditions etc was designed in user friendly way. One other options which was very nice for me was a card to define callendars (laboral days, holidays etc). C-M scheduler is my favourite along others which i got occasion to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately i got no negative expirience, sorry :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was batch support for major polish bank. Benefits are ease of use and nice interface allowing find point where batch processing stocked.
Best tool for scheduling mainframe batch jobs
What do you like best about the product?
I came across this tool a couple months ago through a colleague. I have been using it since then to schedule bulk mainframe batch transactions. The setup is very transparent and user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest I don't have anything to dislike about this. However I would suggest to include a web based setup for monitoring jobs. This could help the monitoring tech support teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to load bulk mainframe transactions on a weekly basis. The batch job set up is a hectic work. But this tool has made the job done very efficiently with in matter of time. Also there are a variety of options available to achieve them.
Best workload automation tool for Mainframes
What do you like best about the product?
Control-M is undoubtedly the best workload automation engine supporting IBM mainframe systems
There are a plethora of options available to trigger and schedule batch jobs including (time, application events, file state changes, human actions, database events, etc.) and are optimized to deal with large flow definitions (with lots of tasks, dependencies, conditional executions) and complex calendars (like when is something a business day or holiday, etc.)
Would be my go to scheduler for setting up Mainframe batches.

What do you dislike about the product?
As we all know the Mainframe systems have historically been used for batch-driven workload , would be nice if there's an additional feature to access them through web.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The workload automation tasks were smooth as never experienced before and system is very transparent and user friendly.
